The location to this place is perfect and the ice cream(Richardsons) is one of my favorites BUT I’d NEVER go back there. We went to Markeys for seafood and decided to have ice cream(obviously). Everyone ordered and then I did… same thing I ALWAYS get when we have ice cream; a scoop of black raspberry and a scoop of pistachio in a plain cone. The young lady who took the order said«we can’t mix flavors» WHAT? That didn’t make much sense. «If you want 2 flavors, I have to charge you for 2 different ice creams. .» I didn’t understand that at all. I asked to speak to a manager… who ended up being the owner. She said«in order to keep track of inventory, we can’t do seperate flavors or we have to charge you separately for the 2.» I said«you’d rather lose a sale than give a scoop of 2 different flavors?» The woman said«If that’s how you feel.» I walked away and we will NEVER go back. There are SOMANYGOOD places to get ice cream at the beach that no one needs that bologna. Don’t be treated with disrespect… common courtesy is hard enough to come by you certainly don’t need to be disrespected at an ice cream shop.

Nice shore ice cream place. Daughter got the soft serve and the flavor was okay. Son got PB cup ice cream which was much better. Good value given the location

I only order a simple one: twisted ice cream with sprinkle. But I think i like this place. Super generous with sprinkle on the ice cream which I loveeee. Their ice cream is rich, creamy and not too sweet. What more do you want

A great beach ice cream stand conveniently located across the street from Brown’s and right next to Markey’s. The portions of soft serve are enormous. The small is enough for just about everyone and the large is a definite handful. They also have a large variety of hard ice cream available.

This is a classic summer road side icecream shack. Clearly worth a visit when one needs a cold treat. I really enjoyed their coffee rasberry soft serve twist. My SO had reese pieces sunday, which was both great and horrifying at the same time if you know what I mean. If you go to one of the local beaches or are having dinner in the area, this is a must stop before or after. I should mentioned that the icecream itself wont blow you way, but its a solid classic summer icecream shack experience. Note: Cash only.

the only reason I dont give Dunlap’s five stars is because they dont allow credit cards. C’mon people get with the times and accept credit cards. YOu’re probably missing a lot of tourists who’d stop but dont have cash on them. I know there’s ATMS but sometimes you dont want to pay with cash . – my credit card doesnt have an ATM debit card on it. :-( That said I had cash with me this time and got a Reese’s sundae. It was delicious and I’ll definitely be back. Staff was courteous and helpful in deciding on menu choices. Thanks Dunlaps!

I had Dunlap’s ice cream after I ate across the street at Brown’s. The location is convenient for those who want to go for desert after dining out. They have EVERYTHING here. From soft serve ice cream to italian ice. I also thought it was clever that they had ice cream treats for dogs. It’s totally unecessary. but found it interesting. I’d go back here again the next time I visit New Hampshire.

A good place to stop for ice cream and other cold treats, conveniently located next to Tripoli Pizza & Markey’s near Seabrook Beach. Dunlap’s offer 25 flavors of hard ice cream, 4 varieties of soft serve(choc, vanilla, twist, coffee), 4 flavors of frozen yogurt, sundaes, banana splits, waffle cones, frappes, floats, typhoons, Richie’s Italian Ice, ice cream cakes, plus hot dogs, chips, & coffee(iced & hot). Whenever I stop here for ice cream on the way to the beach, I usually get the coffee soft serve or the blackberry low carb which are my favorites. As soon as I get my cone, I have to eat it fast because it begins to melt and drip and makes a sticky mess of my hands. Brain freeze action, aaaahhhh, but sooo good on a very hot day!!! The prices(in 2008) for cones are $ 2.86-$ 4.16(with tax) and sundaes/splits are $ 4.59-$ 7.34(with tax), priced in line with other ice cream places(Lago’s in Rye is slightly higher) on the Seacoast. CASHONLY.
