Very, very nice place. They used genuine baguettes. Crepes. Coffee is rich and yummy. Service excellent. Brunch on Sunday. Live music on Friday and Sunday. Loved this place!

Wonderful bistro in the middle of a strip center on Nasa Road 1 in Clear Lake. Wonderful omelets and crepes! The atmosphere is lovely and very French! I highly recommend!

Amazing wait staff. The food lacks any type of taste. Very bland for my taste. Setting is good and presentation was great. Just wish cook staff could put a little love and taste into the meals.

Overpriced and out of touch! I unfortunately ordered the most expensive item on the dinner menu — «Frenchman’s Prize», which consisted of 3 jumbo shrimp and 3 sea scallops(medium sized) with risotto for $ 31. This should not have been priced over $ 20. The seafood was seasoned nicely but did not blend well with the risotto; competing flavors. They are trying to get their alcohol license which is still outstanding. Until then, if they are trying to build their clientele they should not charge a $ 3 corkage fee«per person». I am not going to pay $ 12 for my husband and I and in-laws to drink my own bottle of wine. I have never paid a per person or per glass corkage fee. I understand we would use the restaurant’s glasses but this is an outrageous fee compared to other local BYOB restaurants which offer free corkage. I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.

I enjoyed the service and food. I made my nephew eat here on our vacation. The only bad part was the waffle machine broke but the waitress charged me for the waffle instead of the crêpe since the waffle was cheaper. Overall, not bad.

Having been to France and fallen in love with the food, it is a true delight to find a chef who can prepare fresh food with the same love and care. I’m not just speaking of Parisian cuisine but the kinds of dishes you will find in more regional centers such as Normandy and Brittany. Absolutely delicious and you will love the whole wheat crepes.

La Poz is a welcome addition to the little Arlan’s strip mall. It’s taken over the spot where Italian Café used to be. They spruced up the interior quite a bit! The food is great. We’ve only been for brunch – had quiche and crepes, and we keep coming back for more. The whole wheat crepes are great and make you feel like you’re being healthy. and, the savory crepes come with a salad. double healthy… right? The service can be spotty, but meh, it is a FRENCH restaurant afterall, peeps. One thing that knocked it down a star, i’ve been trying to get a freaking chocolate croissant. Every time I go in there, they say ‘they haven’t made the croissants for the day yet”…errrr…its 10am, soooooo… They do have a small bakery case with other french baked goods. I hope they start selling home-made french baguettes soon. I see that they have applied for their liquor license – i assume they will be serving vin in the coming weeks.

Just finished a delicious goat cheese omelet for brunch. In two weeks they will also be open for dinner. Can’t wait! It’s great having a French Bistro just minutes from the house. Great service and friendly staff.

Great new restaurant. I had an omelet with basil and tomatoes and coffee and it was tasty. Service was timely and courteous. My daughter and wife also enjoyed their meal. Wonderful when all three leave with smiles!

Nice space. Friendly peeps. Civilized portion sizes and great breakfast! Even the beau liked it, and he’s cranky in the morning.

A friend and I tried this place today. Reading other reviews ahead of time I was prepared for a long wait and poor service. That was not the case. Waitstaff was punctual and friendly. We shared the escargot and each had the classic Panini’s with salad and shared fruit tarts. Daughter had the grilled chicken with fries. Everything was delicious! I’m sure new restaurants go through new growing pains at the beginning, so I really hope this restaurant does well. Will definitely be back!

This is a noteworthy review. After 117 restaurant reviews, this is my first 1 star review. In the past I’ve always written the reviews and sometimes asked my wife to look them over. But, she insisted on writing this update. Today was our 3rd trip to La Poz. We were really looking forward to their Eggs Benedict. We were seated by a child(7 – 8?) who gave us the Breakfast menus. Skimming the menu, we couldn’t find the Eggs Benedict. We hailed a waitress. She was surprised they weren’t on the menu. She said they do have it and it was on the paper take home menu. We said we were ready to order. She said she would send our waitress over. Our waitress showed up and took our order. We waited and waited as others around us were served. After 20 – 30 minutes waiting and no one coming back check on use, we hailed another waitress. We asked her to check on our food. She asked what we ordered. We said we ordered the Eggs Benedict. More waiting. We watched as 3 waitresses huddled for a discussion at the register. The waitress(not our waitress) returned saying our ticket did not get to the kitchen. AND, they didn’t have the ingredients to make the Eggs Benedict! We left vowing never to return. This restaurant has been open for several weeks. It takes time for a new restaurant to get their act together. But, these people are not learning. No one is in charge of the front of the house(and maybe the kitchen). They have lots of employees(probably too many), but they do not seem to be trained or know what to do. Every question or request is met with confusion and surprise. This place has great promise, but they really, really need a manager. ___ We’ve Eaten Out Every Meal for more than 25 years

This place is ADORABLE. Hands down my new favorite spot. This is the type of place you expect to eat when you go out of town and look for a «local hot spot.» It’s really new but I have no doubt it’s going to blow up fast. I had a roast beef sandwich, which I wouldn’t normally pick but the menu made it sound delicious. A fresh baguette with tomato, arugula, fresh sliced cheese(I’m talking the fancy stuff), sliced baby pickles, dijon mustard, caramelized onions, and home made french fries. To make it even better, when the server(who was equally adorable might I add) places it in front of me, she said«all the herbs are fresh grown here in our small garden.» SOLDIMMEDIATELY. I love this place. When you walk in, you get this eclectic, café vibe. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating. Mellow lighting for a relaxed atmosphere and bricked walls with local art displayed on them. They serve pastries, cappuccinos, and mini tarts/deserts. Even fresh bread and butter with your meal. Aside from all that, the staff is darling! Happy to give suggestions and help in anyway they can. All seemed to be working very hard the entire time I was there, and all seemed to be in a good mood(which idk about you but is important to me). Only suggestion I have for the owners, is when you open for dinner, please put some hanging string lights outside. This way the patio looks as cute outside as it does inside. Some umbrellas wouldn’t hurt either.

Drove by this spot last week and was excited to try it out since I checked out their online menu. Looked very promising. Well. Me and my roommate arrived at about 1:15 and the restaurant was pretty full(it’s a very small place). One of the servers told us to seat ourselves and someone would be with us shortly. A few minutes later a girl passed by and said she would be back to take care of us. They were obviously understaffed, however there were people standing around doing nothing as well. No one came to help us so I stood up and grabbed menus from the cashier. No one stopped me or even noticed. Our server, I believe her name was crystal, finally came by and asked for our drinks, each of us ordered a cappuccino and it took forever. It seems like there was no order, just chaos. She was taking care of other tables while ignoring us. Another girl came by and took our order instead. They seemed to be struggling with all the guests. Even the table next to us was charged twice for their meal. Anyway, food was great but what really ruined it was the service. Crystal stopped by a couple times just to say that they were really backed up and had only been open for 2 days. She said I looked flustered and said that it was because their system was down. I don’t care how long you’ve been open, I’ve worked as a server for years and the bottom line is customer service and they had none. She didn’t accept any responsibility for neglecting our table and spent a considerably long time talking with other guests. She later then tried to apologize by offering us free dessert, which never happened because I ordered the lunch special which came with dessert ANYWAY. They allegedly ran out of the cream puff/ice cream dessert that was supposed to come with the special so she brought out 2 mini fruit tartes instead. Finally, we were done eating. Sat there for 5 minutes and were one of the last 2 tables in the restaurant. No one came to take our plates or give us the check so we came to the front to pay. Literally, no one knew what they were doing. Crystal didn’t ask us if we were paying together or separately. Then charged us for the wrong items. And charged my roommate twice. They didn’t know how to work their system at all. Two older ladies approached the front to pay as well and were complaining about the wait so the manager offered them each the dessert that they were ALLEGEDLY out of. What a surprise. They declined and then the manager said he would comp their meal for them and they left. Even though we were standing right there the whole time dealing with their incompetent staff. And on top of all of this, the cashier made a really racist comment towards me and my roommate. Yeah there’s not a big Asian population in Seabrook, but you don’t tell people, «you all look alike». How sad that some people have no manners. Bottom line: food is okay, good but not amazing and the staff is in need of some REAL service training. very rude and condescending, and don’t know how to work their systems at all. I would suggest hiring a whole new crew to be honest.

Was super excited to see another café/Italian place opening in Seabrook, but had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. Given they just opened on Monday, any restaurant would have a few kinks to work out, but the lack of professionalism was enough to make me create a Unilocal account just for a review. Came during prime time lunch hours around 1 pm and the place was pretty busy. Greeted by the manager/owner who told me to sit anywhere and a waiter would bring me menus. Was there for roughly 10 minutes before anybody even came up to us. Our waitress only brought us one set of silverware yet no menus. It took another server to bring us menus and even another person to bring us water. They were completely overwhelmed and understaffed. It seemed like we were being served by other waiters when our original one was busy with other tables. Ordered 2 cappuccinos, a lunch special(complete with main entrée, desert, and soup of the day) for $ 13, and a spinach quiche(served with fries or house salad) for $ 7. Overall the food quality was decent. Their chicken was juicy and the sauce was flavorful. The spinach quiche was good as well and the fries are very crispy. For the lunch price the food quantity and quality was good. The lunch special is supposed to come with a crème puff desert and our waitress informed us they were out of it completely. Our waitress also apologized for the inconvenience and offered to bring by some complimentary tarts for us to try. However, the tarts she brought by ended up being a replacement for the crème puffs(which we paid for in the lunch special). When we were checking out we saw two crème puffs being offered to the ladies behind us, when the waitress just told us they were out? What should’ve been a pleasant lunch experience turned even more sour when our waitress charged me for the wrong tab and had to get the manager to reimburse me. While waiting for this process(we had now been at the restaurant for almost 2 hours for lunch), the ladies behind us were also frustrated because of the hold up and the manager offered to completely pay for their meal. Which made no sense since we were there first and had to deal with all the inconsistencies. Overall, the food was delicious but it wasn’t worth the wait and all the chaos from the poorly trained staff and inconsistent managers. It’s a shame since this place is close by and was looking forward to a new place to try out. New restaurant or not, there is a difference between apologizing for poor service and compensating for it. To top it all off the manager made an extremely racist comment in an attempt to make conversation. Saying that me and my friend looked like sisters because all asians look alike was extremely degrading and unprofessional. At that point I was honestly disappointed in how management handled this situation. So don’t go here with high expectations because you will be disappointed.

Yeah! We really needed a little piece of Paris in this area! The food as well as the coffee is fresh & yummy! They serve breakfast until 11am then it’s the lunch menu until 3 pm(when they close.) They serve Crepes & Coffee the entire time they are open! Yum!!! The restaurant is located off NASA Parkway about a ½ mile past the Hilton in the strip center with Arlans This place was really busy and yet the servers were so pleasant! A Nice relaxing atmosphere despite the crowd!
