This place is quaint and amazing! We ordered the shrimp and grits and the chicken finger basket and both were fresh and delish. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the cuisine. If you are looking for a local spot that hits the spot, this is it.

Eggs were ok. It take quit a bit to mess eggs up. The toast was ok. It’s bread that you put in a toaster. The sausage was something that was frozen out of a box. … You know, it not worth my time! I will not be back! I do not understand how a place like this is still open!

We love this place for Brunch. The ice burgs keep us coming back time and time again. We can sit in the bar area all day between the great food, drinks and atmosphere. The bar area is diffidently the place to sit and hang out.

Food and service was excellent. Very friendly folks. It was a little bit crowded but we were attended to very quickly. The food was so good we even got dessert. Will definitely be back!

I finally tried this place after years of living in the neighborhood. So this review will only be for that one visit that I had — Friday red snapper special. Every Friday they serve fresh snapper, fried, grilled or blackened with 2 sides. the price is $ 8-$ 10 depending how you order it. The fish was delicious, and i ordered it with macaroni and cheese and the fresh sauteed vegetables. the sides were also very delicious and the veggies were fresh and crisp. You get a free cobbler with your meal which was actually disgusting. I dont know what was wrong with it, but it tasted like a can of hairspray. super chemical tasting. The décor was nothing to write home about. some what institutional and a weird setup. There is a full bar in the back of the restaurant. Parking can be somewhat annoying at this location. So in summary, the food was great minus the cobbler. i will probably go back for the fish special on fridays.

This is the 2nd time we have gone to this restuarant. The food is very good; seasoned well and cooked perfectly. This time we encountered a few problems; the appetizer did not come until we were almost halfway though our entre. Thank goodness it was small, so it didn’t make much of a difference. The waiter was inattentive and brought us the final bill without asking us if we wanted dessert which we did. What made me most unhappy was the Ladies restroom-it was filthy. One commode had wet toilet paper on the floor around the toilet. The other commode had toilet paper strewn around the floor. The trash can was over flowing with used paper towels. My son and I had just come from Pleasure Pier and used the restrooms there twice. There are a whole lot more people using the restrooms at Pleasure Pier than at the Seabrook Classic Café. The bathrooms at Pleasure Pier were spotless in comparison to Seabrook Classic Café. I recommend this restaurant highly, they just need to train the wait staff better and monitor/clean the restrooms frequently.

A little bit of IHOP mixed with the old school feeling of diner 59. Classic café is the place to come in the Seabrook/Webster area to have some comfort and breakfast food. This place is famous for their tasty icebergs and sweeet tea! Now at nights, the back of the restaurants is the place to be! They too have a large bar area indoor and outdoors to watch the game, sipping on your alchy drinky-drink with some chips, queso, and salsa. The entire staff here is friendly and down to earth whether it is 8am or 8pm.

This classic breakfast /brunch stop is the best in the Clear Lake area. We frequent this place and are never disappointed. We prefer to sit in the bar area in the back, it’s first come seating and the bar is right there. The waitresses in the bar are great– super attentive, quick and make the best drinks. We always get the Iceberg– it’s a frozen mimosa topped with champagne and it’s a great way to start your morning! We also always start off with the bengiets– fresh & fluffy covered in powdered sugar! Comes three in an order, so if you have a larger group, order more. We’ve had everything from the eggs benedict, the garbage plate, the waffle dogs, breakfast sandwich to migas. They have a solid breakfast menu with lots of options. Everyone should be able to find something on this menu and if you are a breakfast fan, you won’t be disappointed. Recommend you get there early on Sundays, as they have a regular crowd in both the front & bar area! Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is divey, local café feel. Stop by Classic and get some grub!

Solid breakfast and brunch joint in the clear lake area. We do thoroughly enjoy this place, full of locals. Does give a divey vibe, but in the best of ways. This is prolly the only respectable breakfast/brunch place within a 15 mile radius worth spending money on. We prefer to sit in the bar area which is first come, first served sitting. The front does always have a wait, but the place is packed and worth the wait. The staff are friendly and attentive. All menu items are good. The beignets are a must and I’m typically drawn to the migas, breaux bridge(boudain benedict) or the breakfast sausage corn dogs. Full bar opens at 10am on Sunday so I suggest you get there a little early to get a table and be sure to order the icebergs(frozen mimosas topped with champagne)!!!

Food like this is worth moving South for. Had the blackened mahi mahi and BEST of all the soup of the day crawfish étouffée. Truly wonderful. Whenever traveling in the South and across Louisiana, THIS is the food I eat and this compares with the best. Also had great Key Lime Pie. It was light yellow as it should be, NOT bright green.

As much as I love the classic café for dinner and dessert, avoid them for brunch! Slow service, dirty menus, table wasn’t wiped down and after the waitress finally took my order she stopped and visited another table for 5 minutes before putting in my order and I never saw her again after she brought our drinks, I had to ask another waitress to bring our check.

Always a great experience, especially when Taylor is your waitress. She’s on the mark! She is very witty, playful and makes you feel like you’ve known each other for years. I was very impressed that she took our orders the old fashion way. She respectfully started with the eldest lady at the table, after finishing with the other ladies she moved on to the eldest gentleman and so on. Excellent job Taylor!

We stopped by there for breakfast. We had high expectations because the menu looked really good. I ordered the Eggs Benedict a side of bacon and hash browns while my wife ordered fried eggs, biscuits & gravy, hash browns, and bacon. The place was quite busy. The bacon came in pieces. It was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen and it tasted old. The hash browns had a dirty grill taste. The Hollandaise sauce was congealed. My wife’s biscuit was charred black on the bottom and not really edible. But my wife’s fried eggs were good, the milk was nice and cold, and the service was very good.

My expectations were not met. I would go back though. I used to eat here in the 80’s when I lived in Clear Lake and loved to eat. here. I am sure the ownership has changed many times. The bar is Great and the service is Great. Food is just average. Here is what we ordered: 1.Seafood Platter –Shrimp were perfect, oysters undercooked, Crab cake good, broiled fish was NOT fresh. Baked potato was PERFECT served with great condiments. 2. Coconut Shrimp– All were overcooked. Too bad this is their signature dish. 3. Avocado Bacon Burger — Average. fell apart and had to be re assembled.

Coming here is kind of a tradition for me, and given how busy the place is, it seems the tradition is not mine alone. There’s a good reason: the food is good and the service is top notch. I like the Breaux Bridge eggs Benedict, and the fact that this place has a full bar means that a Sunday with Bloody Marys is always on the table.

Went in for dinner after the kids regatta. Service was friendly and fast. We had a larger party, 8 and everything was handled very well. Even after a meal had to be replaced due to a food allergy. On a recommendation, I ordered the shrimp & grits, as did another person in our party. She loved it, I not so much. It was served with lots of sauce, so it was almost a soup. The grits were delicious, but I couldn’t love the rest. I like my shrimp and grits dry. Flavor was a little off too. The seared tuna and the S.O.B appetizers were both good. The tuna was definitely fresh! The grilled mahi was fantastic; the chicken fried steak was OK. Everyone enjoyed their meal and a big thanks for great service!
