One of my absolute favorites! EVERYTHING is delicious always and the atmosphere is cozy and quaint!

Came in for a date night. Delicious and wide variety of dishes. Our server was attentive and not overbearing. Tried the chicken kabob which had grilled pineapples and vegetables. Loved the large portions! Had for lunch again the next day!

I took my wife here for a Sunday evening date night because we had a coupon and the Unilocal reviews were pretty decent. Overall it was a mixed experience. The parking lot seems pretty small for a restaurant of this size. There were not many free spaces when we arrived. There is some street parking but not a lot. When we walked into the restaurant, it seemed a bit cramped. There was a parrot sitting on the back of one of the bar stools with a pile of half-eaten crackers on the floor under it. The place was fairly empty with a couple of tables of guests plus a large(10+) party at another. It was a little confusing as to the dining style. I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to be casual or fine dining. The tables were set like fine dining with candles, tented cloth napkins, and wine glasses, but there were paper doilies as place mats. The décor was also confusing. Our waiter was dressed nicely, but had a very strong body odor like old sweat. He was nice enough, though and, in my opinion, a little too friendly with the other guests. He was giving back/shoulder massages to some of them at one table and kissing others at the big party table. I don’t know if they were regulars or what, but it seemed unprofessional to me. He never took a drink order from us but brought water which is what we drank with our meal. The food is why I give the place the 3 stars it got. We got the chicken fried sirloin and the death by chicken dishes. Everything was very tasty and well seasoned. I especially liked the Parmesan grits that came with the steak. My wife liked the chicken and really enjoyed the spicy sauce that accompanied the meal. There were other reviews for this restaurant stating that portions were small, but that was not our experience. We struggled to finish what was brought out. I do think the prices were a little high for the dishes we ordered, but i did enjoy the food so I’m not complaining much. Overall, I would say that this place is good to go for interesting and tasty food but the cost is more palatable with a coupon. I probably would not go without a coupon.

We have been here twice for lunch in the past but never for dinner. We finally came in for dinner and It was outstanding. I got the Hungarian Goulash at the waiters recommendation and it was absolutely delicious. My husband got the Shank of Lamb and he said it was also delicious. Our waiter was very honest and helpful with the menu and we really appreciated that. We will definitely be back again.

Hubby and I decided to try b/c they were listed on a website as dog friendly. Sat an the patio and they brought her a bowl of water and everyone stopped to pet her. I had the coastal Benedict with fruit plate and he had the provolone stuffed pork loin w grilled pineapple and cheese asparagus potatoes. Both were excellent. The grilled pineapple was super tasty! I definitely want to return to try the gallo pinto though! We also took a look at the dinner menu. Looks great!

This place is horrible, horrible, horrible! They literally ruined our New Years and we had to find another restaurant at 9:30 p.m. They supposedly lost our reservation, and that of 2 other couples around us. The bartender had a band-aid on her arm which she ripped off and then came around the bar where patrons put a new one on her. She then went back to work like nothing happened, not taking time to wash her hands. The staff were rude, especially the owners. The owner(woman) came over, told us what the menu was for the night, and didn’t look at me once. She spoke only to my boyfriend, and looked only at him. We told her we wanted a minute to plan what we would order and she NEVERCAMEBACK. The gentleman who I was told also owns the restaurant just wandered around while there were obvious customers needing service. The people at the bar in front of us also had been at our table and then moved to the bar hoping to get service. They had been there for an hour when we got our drinks. We drank our drinks and still no one had been by to take our order after initially waiting for the owner the first time for about 30 minutes, waiting 20 minutes for our drinks, we decided to leave. This was literally the most horrible experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The food they were charging $ 65 a plate for looked like frozen dinners from a box, but of course we never got to actually eat it. I gave one star because Unilocal won’t allow no stars. Awful!

We really enjoyed the International Signature Bistro. We are on vacation and happened across it the first night before we went on a cruise. When we got back on shore we went again. Fabulous food. Fabulous service. Great live music. Had to be the best place in the area I think.

I completely agree with the reviews that said there seemed to be a lack of knowledge and/or deliberate misinformation among the employees. We called ahead of time to check on happy hour wine and we’re told that, yes, there were happy hour wine specials. The man on the phone even checked with some woman whose voice we could hear in the background. When we arrived 30 minutes later, bartender told us no wine was on happy hour. Bottom line: $ 7.50 for a glass of cheap Chardonnay after bartender clearly led us to believe it would be 6.00. We could have been at many other bars in the Clear Lake area for half the price. Already feeling a bit out of sorts, we looked at the menu and found the filet was going to be $ 40, the lamb $ 33, etc., so left after one glass of wine but left a tip which we regretted on the way home because we truly believe the bartender intentionally misled us. Overall, seems way overpriced for little ol’ Seabrook.

Little detour to Lowe’s. Bottomless mimosas, jumbo lump crab cake eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak with eggs. Did I say bottomless mimosas for $ 10? I found this place on Unilocal and thought we would give it a try. I think I see a dinner here soon. Thad, our waiter, was RAD and legit!!!

My boyfriend and I kind of stumbled upon this place and I’m so glad we did! I had the blackened salmon and my boyfriend had the lamb shank and both were delicious! I wanted something a little lighter but was pleasantly surprised at the generous portions and the salmon was cooked perfectly with a rich cream sauce. I think the prices are very fair for what you get and I really like that their menu has a wide variety of options, all of which sounded amazing. Also, the owners are super nice and want to make sure you enjoy your meal. In case you couldn’t tell, I highly recommend this restaurant!

It took almost 2 years before we tried this new International Bistro after the original Signature Bistro closed which was a real good restaurant under Melissa and Elizabeth(sisters) management, but let me tell U, We were glad that we went back and tried the new restaurant, The calamari was real crunchy and fresh with marinara sauce, loved it, Tried the melts in your mouth Chilean Sea bass which was perfectly cooked. Service was attentive at the bar thanks to Rene our bartender extra ordenaire, definitely will be back.

My son, his wife and I tried the new Garden of Eden vegatable sandwich last night. The sandwich almost tasted like it had meat in it. Bread was great the vegatables were well cooked especially the mushrooms. I suggest that you try it for yourself.

What a treat! We were on our way to Dickinson for the day and needed to grab a bite to eat, so we stopped in here for brunch around 11:30. We stepped in expecting a bit of a casual atmosphere, but were pleasantly surprised with the nicely set tables and well-dressed server. The menu was a little small, but was creative and offered a variety of plates. I had the Hawaiian breakfast and my fiancé had the Costa Rican breakfast. Both were very nice portion sizes and were quite tasty. We also had bottomless mimosas with our meals. $ 10 for bottomless? Yes, please! Friendly staff, good food, good price, plus an entertaining parrot on the patio. All in all, my only disappointment was that we were on a schedule and couldn’t stay longer to enjoy more mimosas!

Went here with a friend for sunday brunch. Menu was small which to me should mean the food that is being prepared should be amazing because they are focusing on a few items. The food was okay I had the pork lion and it was dry and under seasoned and my potatoes were cold and looked like they had been sitting out for a while. My friend had the French Toast which was soggy from being undercooked :(but the food wasn’t the bad part it was the EXTREAMSLOW Service they place wasn’t filled when we got there yet 3 tables who came in after us were greeted and served before anyone said anything to us. The food took a while but we sat there for over an hour for us to get our bill. We got there at 11 am and didn’t end up leaving until 130pm but not by our choice. We ended up having to dig out cash so we could leave because our waiter didn’t have time to close out our check. I would not recommend this place even if the Groupon is enticing. Keep driving and go eat elsewhere.

I usually go to ISB for brunch on Sunday’s which is absolutely wonderful, but I went for dinner and it blew my mind!!! Food was delectable, company was great, and the live music completely set the mood! I love this restaurant, in fact I recommend«the Bistro» to all of my friends, and anyone that is new to the Clear Lake area! Wonderful place to just hang out, have some wine, and enjoy yourself! Do yourself and a favor and check this place out, you won’t regret it!

Lewis and Maritza, you’re the warmest restaurant owners i’ve met! Makes me want to come back to your place regularly just to be welcomed by your warm smiles and greetings. Oh, and the food is great as well! You may want to try their appetizers as the food takes a while to be served, but it’s worth the wait! I had the chicken parmesan and the red sauce just reminded me of Italy. :)

I have never complained on Unilocal, very easy going, but we had a disappointing dinner here. App we ordered was not served, ran out of it. dinners came out, mine was not what I ordered, but good none the less. my wife’s dinner was mahi mahi, drier than a fish turd in the desert. Sent it back, she’s never done that in 23 years I’ve known her. For all the wrongs, waiter gave her her a glass of wine. That’s it. And we were charged for all of it. Had to ask them to take off the app we did not get and the dried out fish. Last time we go to this place.

Absolutely love Signature Bistro. Their brunch items are to die for along with their bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s. We enjoyed it so much we spent the entire day there on Sunday from brunch to dinner time. And we’re treated like VIP! The raw oysters followed up by a big juicy burger hit the spot for dinner! Can’t wait to go back!

I have been here twice. Both times the food has been good but service has been slow. This second trip was no different. The server was friendly but way over-worked and had 7 tables at one time with no one helping him. So, please know that this is not a reflection on him. The owner was there and brought me a glass of wine on one occasion but that was it. She should have been helping with refilling water glasses, bread, etc. We went on this Thursday night because the Facebook ad showed the«Clawfish Night» for $ 9.95. It said that the entrée included Lobster, King Crab and Snow Crab claws with Potatoes and Corn. What a great deal, right? NOT! When we first got there, our server did not know about the special. We thought that maybe we had gotten the night wrong, but I looked at Facebook and showed him the ad and he asked the owner and she said, «Yes, we can do that.» That should have been my sign. Two other tables were seated and also asked about the«Clawfish Night» and were told that it was being offered. So now there are 3 tables who want the same thing. The seafood arrives and looks great but after we picked up the first crab leg we knew it was bad. It was soft and could not be broken, just bent. That means that they probably microwaved it or put it in a pot of boiling water from frozen. The check came and it was $ 9.95PERPOUND. We actually ended up paying $ 29.95 for each plate. Bottom Line — Call before you go.

What a dive. The prices are ridiculous and the portions are small. There are so many wonderful choices in the NASA area, my good friends. I got a steak– fillet mignon — that was the size of a portion for a child. It was cold and lacked flavor. The eggplant parmesan my wife ordered tasted like a frozen Banquet entrée you can buy at the freezer of your local supermarket. No Tip. Steer clear of this hole in the wall my good dining friends.
