Went in to buy ammo while on vacation. The salesman told me he wouldn’t sell to me since my residence is California. He went further to say he was not aware if the laws would allow the transaction. I asked to speak with someone else who could verify and that’s when the drama started.(btw, California does not restrict the sale of shotgun ammo, the type of ammo I was attempting to buy) Stephanie, the acting manager appeared and I asked her to verify the information. Initially, seeming flustered as if I had asked her a difficult higher level math question, she pointed to a posted sign stating the information. At this point I was frustrated with the clerk’s inability to answer a simple question, wasting my time and Stephanie’s time. I left the store to find 3 police vehicles parked outside. I sat on a bench with my wife and 1.5 year old daughter and within a few minutes 4, yes, 4 police officers walk up to us standing around us. I was shocked. The lovely people at Walmart had called the police. Why? I explained to them what had happened and they sympathized with me and walked away. This is a prime example of how incompetent«managers» can ruin relations with loyal customers. A word of advice for«Rich,» the clerk: listen to your customers and be professional. Stephanie: you need to do a better job training your staff how to answer customer’s questions, especially in the firearms department. Don’t overreact when a customer is frustrated with your employee’s incompetence.

10am on Friday, October 30, 2015 — Customer Service Counter: Can I leave a negative rating? And this is coming from someone who LOVES Walmart! Purchased items via . Some items did not fit, and I attempted to return them to Walmart located in Seabrook, NH on the way to Maine. The person handling the return could not figure out HOW to return a ‘dotcom’ order, and at one point told me: «This item has already been returned.»(All the while she was talking to herself, trying in vain to figure out how to do the return). I was absolutely shocked at the level of stupidity. I replied: «But, the item is sitting right here, still in the plastic bag, with the shipping bar codes on the packaging.» Nope, she was convinced the item had been returned.(WHAT?!) At that point, I had to call her ‘an idiot’ to her face, took the items, and went up the road to Walmart in Portsmouth, where they returned all items, no issue what-so-ever. To the woman at customer service in Seabrook… YES, MA’AM, YOUARE A TOTALANDABSOLUTEIDIOT! And a moron too!

Don’t like em’. Bad business practices make for unpleasant employees. Pay your employees a living wage! And their parking is terrible!

This store has won me over. Normally I would avoid any Walmart just on principle. But the grocery section is amazing and i’m not about to turn my nose up at saving some money. The store is VERY clean, well organized, and spacious. The staff is very nice. I don’t mind saving some money over in the garden center either. Big selection and very courteous staff. Not sure what the negative reviews were about. Believe me, I wouldn’t shop there if it wasn’t pleasant and worth the savings.

The parking is absolutely atrocious! If you’re not getting there before they open good luck finding a good spot to park. If you walk in the store and try to find a floor associate where something is good luck. One of the good things here is the self checkout because there usually never lines lime the regular checkouts. Probably would come back.

I’m doing this review on the auto care center. Went in today for a simple oil change. Waited 30 minutes just to ask someone about getting it done. They are slow and disorganized. One employee was on the phone the entire time while there was a line of people waiting. The voucher employee was completely lost. After 30 minutes I got sick of waiting to I just went to jiffy lube down the road and was in and out in 20 minutes.

You expect that with a new store location, and a much larger benchmark, that the new store will be clean, organized, friendly and helpful staff, and overall affordable. Unfortunately, the store owners do not take pride in their new store, as with their old location which was just down the street. The only difference with this new location is the Supercenter feature — adding a full grocery. The aisles are still a mess, customer service lacks dealing with the customer in a polite manner, sectional are not organized, and the bathrooms are a pigpen! The store has been opened just about a month. It’s a shame the staff, management, and owners do not take pride or the responsibility to clean and organize this new store. There is absolutely no reason why a superstore cannot keep clean and organized. The store has no navigation map or visible signs to say where things are. If you are shorter than 6-feet tall, forget about being able to navigate around and visibly see the signs they do have above the tall shelves. When you walk into the store, they have basically reversed everything. so if you remember the location at 270 Lafayette Rd, everything that was on the right side as you walked in that store is now on the left. Clothing is near the middle of the store, to the left. Toiletries/fragrances, pet food, etc is on the right side including lawn and garden. On the furthest left side is the grocery store. Customer service is in the center of the store up front in the worst possible location. I don’t understand why they placed customer service in the middle front of the store with the foot traffic coming from the cash out registers, there is interference with the long lines for customer server and those trying to check out of the store. There should be a navigation map or an app specifically for a smart phone for folks to use to navigate the store if the owners aren’t going to hang the signs in convenient and readable locations. It’s a shame about this new location and the lack of pride by those who manage and own this store. I am looking forward to Target coming to the local area, as it will be my first choice over this Walmart.

I am not a Walmart shopper. I prefer target. That being said, I have never dealt with such a rude customer service worker before. The cashier acted like we were inconveniencing him. It was the end of the night and he was very frustrated that he still had to help customers. People should be thankful to have a job. Treating customers poorly and acting like we are an inconvenience is unacceptable.

Brand new store with lots of options. It will take me a little while to figure out the layout and get a feel for the store. This store has groceries so it’s one stop shopping. The people seem nice and I assume some are the same staff who came from down the street. They too are new to checking out food so it will be a bit before the get a groove. Garden center, beach and pool stuff. Large selection of clothes. One of the first stores to open in this new shopping complex.
