Came here for a birthday celebration lunch with my sister. When we got there there were 3 tables open on the water but the waitress would not seat us there because they were tables for 4. Ok, I got that even though there were a lot of open tables … Or It would have been ok if the next 2 people that came didn’t ask for the waterfront and get seated there by the hostess, What the hell??? The food was good. The grilled octopus was amazing ! But I won’t go back. Too many choices out there. But if you want to go And want to sit by the water go with at least 3 people and reserve it.

Stopped in again and ate outside on the patio. Since the mojito the first time was so awesome I decided to get it again. Didn’t think it was possible but it was even better than I remembered. Doreen was kind enough to make Ryan an iced coffee that he desperately needed after our night of wining. I ordered the blackened tuna salad which was perfectly dressed and cooked just the way I like it. Ryan had the lunch burger and really enjoyed it. The ambiance outside was lovely and despite the private party we were wonderfully taken care of. Seriously love this spot.

Ok random decision to go there. I liked it last few times. Was sat down inside which I wanted to windy outside. Waitress was so so. Pur our order in she came and out of what I ordrerd. Tried to push something else on me then the owner came over and did the same felt like I was Bing bullied into it and then I said I need a minute then asked her how was that dish was prepared she fumbled and it sounded boring. Felt a little uncomfortable there the owner looked at me twice. Husband even said it was bday that’s why she wanted. They weren’t apologetic at all nice place but not warm and fuzzy

came to parkside café with my wife this past friday night — upon arrival, we were asked by the valet if we had reservations, we didn’t but nonetheless he was kind enough to move the car for us & allow me to go see if a table was available — since we were able to get in, i ran back to the front to let him know we’d be staying, he already had the car parked & taken care of for us… kudos to this helpful young man sadly once seated the service went somewhat downhill — everyone was pleasant, but it was one of those situations where we felt a bit ignored while other tables who were clearly regulars at this place were fawned over… took over a half hour to get our appetizer, and that only magically arrived after my wife told the waitress they could keep it since we’d waited so long & really just wanted our meals at that point, a few minutes later it suddenly showed up & to their credit they took it off the bill, but still a bit annoying food was pretty good once we got it — the rhode island calamari appetizer was hot & super tasty, wifey loved her simply grilled shrimp & the jambalaya pasta i had was pretty good too, not quite the kick i’d expected but plenty flavorful overall an ok place if you’ve got time to kill & money to burn, the prices are a bit steep which is to be somewhat expected with waterfront dining, but unless you know someone working here be prepared to wait a bit to be taken care of

Really good food here. Shrimp cocktail, lobster quesadilla was huge. Salmon with coconut rice fab, all fresh. Spicy sauces can be on the side. Great bartender and bar gets packed Friday night. Pricey but nice if you don’t want to shlep to NYC! What a find. Reserve for canal view.

Moved into the area in November 2014 and I’m always looking for nice places to eat. Actually found this place through Unilocal. All I can say is I’m glad I did. Don’t listen to people saying they pay attention to the local crowd. Yes, it had the local crowd feel to it. But we never once felt as if the staff only paid attention to the locals. I read in a previous review that the waitress with the short blonde hair was very attentive to her tables. Well coincidentally, she was our waitress! And the previous review was correct. She was attentive and friendly, even with what seemed to be an unexpected Monday night crowd. I don’t usually go on Unilocal to review things so I’m not too familiar with how to use this. So I just noticed this in my drafts lol. I meant to post it back in the early fall. Hope she still works there! Lol

After the day on the Robert Moses we decided to try local seafood dishes. It was not many seafood places around except of the diners and fish markets. But we found something really locals liked. Don’t go to park side if you don’t have gps. It’s a hidden one. It’s closes early too. Seafort gets to a bed early. But if you find it and it’s not too late the joy is guarantee. We had scallops with chatney bock choy and lobster risotto. Yammi combination! Eat it while it is hot. Cod w spinach special was a little bit too buttery to me. Spinach was satueed whell though. Pinot grigio by glass was good. Over all this place has romantic lights around palm trees, outside area right next to a canal with a boat dock. Very romantic gateway! I would come back and try curb cakes and tuna)

First time going to this Establishment and its tucked in the neighborhood. Small and quaint, outside deck overlooking the canals of Seaford and a slip for boaters to dock in and get lunch. The lunch menu is very satisfying. Portions are large and they are fresh. I ordered the Crabcake burger with sweet potato fries. It was awesome very tasty and fresh and not fake. My wife have the three sliders that was fresh cooked Tuna with a nice side salad. She loved it! We both can’t wait to return to try something different from the menu.

Usually I am NOT one to sit by the wayside when something happens. I don’t believe in being passive aggressive, either. But unfortunately, this situation was stunning. 2 weeks ago, we went to our new fave local outdoor restaurant for my Dad’s birthday. This is my 3rd time there and food is always good, drinks could use a serious work out(1st time they were really good because of Hahn), service is okay at best but to just sit outside… We ordered a lot of food and beverages. Our bill is about $ 250.00 for 3 adults and a baby. My husband decided to handle the bill before we were done, so my father wouldn’t offer. He goes in side, pays by credit card.(Now mind you, the rest of us are still sitting and finishing.) After that, he walks into the mens’ room only to come out being confronted by the owner for not leaving a tip on the credit card. My husband, not wanting to cause a scene, didn’t tell us until we left what had happened. So because of that exceptionally rude, obtrusive behavior-WE WILLNEVERRETURN. A tip is a reward for good service. We are industry people. We get it. We also like to tip in cash. To assume either way was a big mistake and mind you, in the 3 visits we have made, easily $ 700.00 towards this terrible man and his establishment.

We decided to visit this restaurant prior a Jones Beach Concert for dinner. This is a waterfront restaurant that resides on a canal coming right out of a neighborhood. It is a simple one-story waterfront building at the end of a residential street. It décor is very simple to reflect its casual seaside setting. There is outdoor seating for about thirty and some indoor as well. The bar was along the dining room which can accommodate maybe six to eight people. Our favorite is their clam flatbread and their muscles great selection of sauces. Very warm, friendly and cozy place to go on a lazy afternoon or evening.

A hidden gem on the south shore of Long Island, great atmosphere, food and service. The owner Joe makes you feel like a friend, it was a beautiful Friday night and we had no reservations, Joe made a table outside on the patio area that was just perfect. we started off with the Chilled Seafood platter and a sausage & broccoli-rabe flat bread, both were outstanding, the seafood platter compared to platters you expect in the best steakhouse’s in the city. For diner we had the sushi grade sesame ahi tuna and the blue cheese crusted filet mignon and neither disappointed. We are not much on desert so finished the evening off with Cannoli Martini’s which Joe highly recommended. I just want to thank Joe and his entire staff for a perfect evening. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious as always and looked pretty too!!! The sangria tasted like straight rotten limes and at further scrutiny proved to be bc limes with the rinds on were part of the sangria fruit … Not the best idea … Service could not have been better so even though the person who made the sangria messed up and the food took a little longer then it should have this is still one of my favorite places for the view and everything else went so very right. I’ll be back

Used to be a big fan. Not much so now. Food is ok, service is hot and cold unless you get the shorter blonde woman with short blond hair. She was on top of everyone of her tables.(wish she was my waitress) the bartender sure knows how to make a drink and the atmosphere is fantastic. My suggestion, order appetizers and drinks and enjoy the view.

I was there Saturday night with the family, and let me just start off by saying that the sushi was incredible. We come here often due to the amazing food, and the“FEELATHOMEATMOSPHERE«. The owner Joe, and his staff are very friendly and always greet us with a smile .My daughter’s love the soothing canal where they watch the duck’s swim by. All in All, this is one my favorite restaurant’s.Keep up the good work, and I’ll see you guys again this weekend!

I really love this place. I went last summer for my sister’s birthday on a Saturday night. The food was excellent — fresh, perfectly cooked seafood. Delish! Also, they have a really fun cocktail menu. After dinner, we moved over to the little seating area that had Adirondack chairs and had another round of drinks. It was comfortable and cozy. We didn’t feel rushed or that we were overstaying our welcome. I went back yesterday for lunch with my husband and 16-month old son and the experience was just as lovely. There’s a new chef and it took me almost 20 minutes to even decide what to get — do I get the swordfish BLT? The surf-and-turf burger with lobster? the crabcake burger? one of their many salads? I finally went with the soft-shell crab panini(a special) which was good, but it wasn’t a panini as I’m used to(a pressed sandwich). Oh! And we also got the kung pao calamari and the Brandon Roll(because they have sushi now) and the sushi roll was ONPOINT! Just love this place. Thanks for being you, Parkside. ;)

The food was good. But the service was horrible. The waitress took forever to come to our table to take our order. Once we ordered drinks, it took 15 minutes for the waitress to bring our drinks(martini and piña colada) to our table. I had to ask 3 times for a bread basket. My husband and I ordered fried calamari, crab cakes and coconut shrimp. It was good. But the service ruined my dinner. I didn’t even want to order an entrée because I knew it would take forever.
