Visited this 7 – 11 today to pick up a Sunday newspaper. Today is Sunday. Paid over $ 2.00 for it only to find out once I got home it was last Thursday’s paper! Took it back and the clerk told me I should have looked at the day printed on the paper. I asked him why didn’t he mention I was buying last Thursday’s paper? It was as thick as a Sunday paper… filled with ads. Come to find out there were plenty of Thursday’s newspapers on the store’s rack but no Sunday papers. What a con job! Shame on the owner and the clerk. I’ve lived in Seal Beach over 40 years. The clerk and owner do not belong in our city! I don’t know where they come from but we do not treat our neighbors this way!

Ok, so I take back some of what I’ve said. I have been back to this 7 – 11 since my review. There is a nice young guy who works there. He is always friendly & he makes up for all of those rude guys. Plus today I walked over to buy some beer & the guy working (one of the previous rude guys) said I looked very young for my age. So yes, I take back what I’ve said. Flattery works people, flattery works :)

crazy hangout for a lot of drunk bums. but i like this spot for a hot/​cool beverage after a nice long day in the ocean.
