Scott and Missy, the owners of this place, are such great people and so knowledgeable. Went in to rent a wetsuit and Scott taught my husband and I so much about what to get. We went in to rent a wetsuit and came up with a wetsuit, knowledge, and a greater appreciation for surfing and the ocean. They are not just here to sell you stuff, they are here to share the passion they have for this sport. If you need anything for a good surfing day, stop by this place. You will absolutely love it!

I really enjoy this shop. It has a great small town community feel, rather than some of the larger, now commercialized shops down the coast. They have a large selection of gear, and if they are out of stock they will order what you need and have it within days. I needed a short, fat, day-​use bag and Missy ordered it an had it in two days. They have a very large selection of major brand boards in stock for a smaller shop, and have numerous house-​shaped boards as well. I decided to have my first custom board shaped rather than buy it off the shelf and talked with Scott and he did a great job. He understood exactly what I wanted, did a beautiful job on the color, and had it ready for me ahead of schedule! I will definitely shop here again and order future boards here.

Very welcoming and great customer service, Scott is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. If you have any questions about surfing, getting a new board etc. This is the place to go. Amazing vibes and very professional.

One of the worst and rudest surf instructors ever is in this place… INFLIGHT SURF and SAiL. My nephew had an hour of personalized surfboarding lesson with Ricky who works at this store last Saturday, August 29, 2015. First of all, he charged us so much and promised to include the suit and surf board on the agreed training fee but ended with just the surf board use. Secondly, he was yelling and shouting all along the training and uses foul and demeaning words to my nephew… which i thought was very unprofessional and rude. He has so little patience in teaching. Thirdly, at the end of the one hour lesson, i paid him cash but wasn’t given my due change.
What a rip-​off indeed!
If you are in the Seal Beach area, i strongly advise to avoid this place… INFLIGHT SURF and SAIL along Pacific Coast Highway in Seal Beach.

Missy & Scott, owners of Inflight helped me get a great wetsuit and longboard bags. Also I got some cool graphic hats to help protect me from the sun’s summer rays after surfing. I’m truly happy with the great service and super quality products; lastly above and beyond customer service provided everytime. What a wonderful experience! Came here looking for tie down straps. The owner was so helpful, he came out to our truck and showed us how to tighten and use them properly. Our new SUP’s will be safe! Thank you, you guys are awesome.

Stopped in while visiting Seal Beach for the afternoon. The lady was quick to hook me up with a couple of great rental boogie boards. Very nice to deal with good advice on where to take the kids for the afternoon. Wish I lived closer, would do more business here! Ethan

I came to the shop cause they carried the Evolve Electric Skateboards. I called ahead of time to see if one was available and luckily Scott was there to help me. On my first visit i wasn’t totally sure I wanted one, so I asked a bunch of questions, all of which Scott answered politely. He rides one too so he was very knowledgeable. He offered a test ride but knowing myself if I got one I’d walk out with one. Surely in my 2^nd visit I did! Scott took the time to teach me how to get up and start riding on the board along with the ever so awesome tips of setting up the board. I love the thing! So thanks again for being knowledgeable bout the product and being very friendly. I’ll see you in a bit to pick up some surf gear as the waves pick up!

I was searching for a specific new surfboard and just started calling all the dealers on Lost website checking for availability. Inflight was the 16^th plus shop I called and they had the model, size, and fin setup I was looking for. They were very helpful and accommodating with shipping to central Oregon coast. I was very concerned with the shipper and possible damage. The box showed up with a tear/​puncture but the board was damage free and flawless due to the wonderful package job. Thanks Inflight!

I came in today after a morning surf sesh and was pleasantly surprised with this shop! Immediately greeted by one of the owners Missy and asked about looking at their used boards. The 2^nd floor is where it’s at, everything from Catch Surf Beater boards to 10′ Longboards. The guy upstairs Scotty knew his stuff! Super cool to talk to and answered all of our questions with a smile! My friend is transitioning from a foam board and he gave us the rundown on everything we needed to know.
They also have 30%-50% off racks in the front of the store that you should check out! Definitely my go to shop now and will be back!

We rented surf boards and wet suits last Saturday from the store without making prior reservation. Missy was very friendly and helpful. Since we were using a rental car and didn’t have any rack on the car, they were able to lend us a temporary rack and even hooked up the boards to our car with no extra charge.
The store is conveniently located just less than 5 mins away from the Seal Beach.
Thank you again guys! Will definitely come back if we ever in town again!

Scott (I hope remembered his name correctly :) and Missy are awesome — and so is the store. They are laid back and informed and helped me out picking out my first wet suit and gear. Even provided a source for good private surfing lesson dude.
As married owners of the shop, they live the life and it shows, They go surfing every morning and have been doing so for twenty years. Lots of gear and custom boards on 2 floors. Good vibe.
I recommend the shop highly and will be back as I progress thru surfing stages.

Nice local shop located on PCH in the little town of Seal Beach. I drove past this shop hundreds of times on my way to surf Huntington Beach before I decided to check them out. Once I did, I realized that I was missing out on a solid surf shop.
Bottom level of store is all clothing and surf accessories (leashes, traction pads, supplies. Etc.). For a small space they seem to have a lot of different clothing, but I don’t usually buy much in surf shops other than maybe a store branded shirt. Decent selection of surf accessories and I can always find what I am looking for. They don’t have the selection that the big guys have (Jack’s, HSS), but they have a better selection than your average shop.
Upstairs is where the boards (surf and skate) and wetsuits are located. They carry a good assortment of different brands and styles of boards, including their store label boards. Shapes range from High preface shortboards, alternative boards, mid-​lengths and longboards. If you are in search for a specific style of board they will most likely have it, or you can always order a custom. Have several used shortboards and a few used longboards as well. For wetsuits, they only carry excel, which IMO are the best suits, especially for the money.
Prices are competitive with the other shops (big and small) in SoCal.
Owners are very helpful and knowledgable. They are a husband/​wife/​son team and all surf almost daily, thus they don’t open until 10 ish.

What a great place! The owners took the time to answer any questions I had. (Which were many) I walked out with a sweet deal on an Xcel wet suit.

I really like shopping here. The couple that own and run it are very friendly and will do anything to get you the gear you need. I’ve been shopping here for years and I am never disappointed with the quality or price of what they sell. They even offer used board bags for a discounted price which I haven’t seen anywhere else.
They will take their time with you and will even order what you need an in any color you want.
Exceptional customer service and this place just can’t be beat.

Small in size but big in friendly service and local info. It’s easy to miss and I’ve passed by so many times before finally saying «Eff it» and popping in for a look-​see.
They stock a wide mix of new and used surfboards (Wind ‘an Sea, Chuck Dent, Yater, Surfboards Hawaii, etc) and many of their own models. Favoring Excel wetsuits over the ubiquitous O’Neils, Ripcurls and Aleeda, they probably have your size. Missy was very helpful in giving a woman’s perspective to size and style.
They also have selections of surf clothing and all the necessary items you’ll need for your own flight (wax, leashes, bags, etc).
Surf’s up. Go get some.
