Starbucks

I literally drive down the road to this location rather than going to the one right by my house because the staff is friendly, quick, and they always get my order right unlike other locations nearby!

Ample indoor and outdoor seating. The folks here are really friendly and they consistently get my order correct. The tables can get a bit crowded with students but overall a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Customer service needs major improvement. For having only two customers in the store and not having to make many drinks, the baristas ignored us customers in line for several minutes. The cashier didn’t seem to know what they had ran out of and needed the other barista to remind him of what they still had a supply of. Also, they need to know which drinks are available in which sizes, example being the trenta cup and how only regular iced coffees, teas, and lemonades are available at the size. Communication is lacking between baristas and it isn’t translated to the customers in a professional or understandable manner. The speed the drinks came out was good and the quality is consistent to other locations, which is great, but customer service is just as important in a coffee shop as the products being served.

Only go here if your on vacation. It takes a long time to get your order. I timed today and it took 20 minutes just to get 2 drinks. Wow! If i didn’t already paid I would have walked out. Not worth it. Poor customer service.

I’m here anywhere from 2 – 5 days a week, so I’m definitely not new. The employees are all great, friendly, and know how to quickly work through the line when it’s long. The inside is typically always clean and well taken care of. Love the mobile ordering, it’s all I ever do now!

This is my go to Starbucks. I used to love the customer service. Nice and friendly baristas like Erica, Nick and Pavi. Five stars for them!!!
Now, I see less and less of these friendly faces and more grumpy ones instead. I’ve been biting my tongue for a while, but seriously… Why so grumpy? I got yelled at by a barista telling me it was my fault my order was wrong when in fact, I ordered the SAME thing on my mobile app every time! Puts me in a bad mood.
Starbucks, please train your baristas to be kinder. Kindness and a smile go a long way.

This is probably my favorite Starbucks to go to. I come here almost every day on my way to work & it’s so nice. Always clean & organized. The employees are always sweet & happy. Today Johnny helped me out & he was so sweet & patient. I don’t have simple orders but everyone is always patient when I give it. Johnny was super nice today & I hope to see him again!

The staff at this location are so friendly, just for that alone this Starbucks gets 5 stars. Many other locations have not so polite baristas and move at a snails pace. People come into Starbucks expecting a line so seeing how fast the Seal Beach location can knock out a long line is awesome. My drink is always made to perfection and the baristas are always friendly and ready to go… even at 6am on a Monday! When you see baristas greet many people by first name and memorize their drinks, you know this place is doing something right.

Love this Starbucks! Employees are so nice and the place is always kept clean and well stocked. Super quick getting my coffee as well.

I frequent this Starbucks most often! It’s always busy but the staff is quick and I never wait very long. Speaking of the staff, they’re all very nice and even know my name when I go in! The store is always clean which I appreciate. My drink always comes out the way I want it and in an timely manner. If you like Starbucks and are in the area check this one out!

reasons why I don’t ever come to Starbucks when I’m not working. as being with the company for many years I did not like their customer service.
The barista did not even let me finish ordering. don’t act like I’m dumb, I’m pretty sure i know the ins & out of this company. it’s not even busy so how did you get my order wrong ?

I don’t come here often, but when I do I like being here. It’s never too packed and I love the community table in the middle. The baristas as super nice and they all get along quite well, it’s a good vibe.
They also make really good zebras, and when they close you can go sit outside to finish whatever you’re working on :)

The customer service here is above par! I feel so bad I didn’t have anything to tip them as my Starbucks card ran out with the purchase of my coffee! I called back to get my barista’s name — Nick made my coffee better than I have ever had it mixed before. The cashier was super friendly as well! I wish they had more Starbucks this well put together near where I live!

…and then Starbucks in Seal Beach killed my vibe ! Refusing to use a Trenta cup for extra ice in a Venti Iced Coffee. So they felt it would be better to give me an extra cup with ice. I’ve been fighting this battle for over a year now. Some stores do it and some don’t. Corporate tells me it’s totally ok to give me the bigger cup. Store says there is no button and the bigger cups cost more to make ! Ugh ! #wtf #starbucks #recycle #landfill

I’ve never had an issue at this Starbucks. The parking lot is plentiful, the service was good, and my drinks taste like every other Starbucks out there.
I use the Starbucks app on my phone to pay, which makes things go even quicker. I noticed that this location added a large communal table a while back ago, which is really nice to do some work or eating with a large party.

Was greeted by (I think) CJ. He was awesome! Friendly. Remembered my name and made me feel like a valued customer. They made my drink perfect and it was an overall great experience. I know that Starbucks experiences can range depending on the time of day and busyness of the store, but I went around 1:30pm — it was quiet and the staff was excellent. Thanks Sbux for going above and beyond! I will be back.

wowzers 4pm milky drink so nasty.
9pm I walked in as the cashier was changing the bag to the trash can as i grabed a yogurt I waited to see if she would wash her hands. She immediately asked to take my order so i asked her if she was making my drink, beacuse i noticed she was messing with the trash can, the thot had the nerve to get mad at me. WASH UR HANDS its the law nasty girl. I did oder a drink but i left before it was finished. Then i sped off in my black on black Benzy. If i was white u would have washed ur hands.

Friendly staff! The line was long this morning but I got my drink pretty quickly!

Nick behind the counter makes your morning visit the absolute best. Friendly greetings to everyone, a bright smile & making sure each order is placed perfectly. A visit to this Starbucks is the best way to start your morning. Stellar customer service & cappuccinos made perfectly.

I’m a big fan of their super large table (two large tables put together). If you read my reviews, you’ll know I’m a sucker for large tables where I spread all my crap around. They also have several other smaller tables if you’re studying by yourself or with one other person (though a little cramped for two).
They lose stars because…
1) It’s super cold. They crank the AC and at night it was the same temperature outside and inside. Way too cold! My hands and toes felt like they were freezing. It’s so hard to type when your hands are cold too, haha.
2) There are lots of high schoolers that come to «study» after school, meaning it gets rather loud here.
3) I got charged for adding syrup when I asked for a refill, even though I had already paid extra for the syrup when I originally purchased my drink, which never happens when I go to other stores.
4) Wifi is super slow here.
Even though the large table is super super awesome, there are plenty of other places that are better for studying.
