First time customer, thought I try it out. Ordered a large combination pizza, it took a long time to make, and what I got was a small rectangular box as I ordered it to go. Staff was friendly, but the pizza was dry with hardly any cheese or sauce. I don’t think I’ll be going back again. especially for what I paid.

The sandwiches here are incredible! My favorite is the Special, but trying to eat healthy, I usually end up with the Turkey with no mayonnaise. Bread is fabulous. The staff seems to be all family, and they are really good to us locals. I’m sure they’re nice to everyone, but they always make us feel special. The Thursday night special of Spaghetti with meat sauce is a must try also. Very reasonable prices to top it off!

Order rigatoni and meatball. The sauce is sour as hell. I don’t think I had any worse sauce than this place

The food over the years from this Santa Fe store has always been great — something to look forward to! We had a special request for catering, and once the owner, Vince understood the situation, he was so helpful and polite, that it will keep us coming back for more big orders in addition to getting that great meatball sandwich for lunch. We are very grateful, and the boys volleyball team we hosted devoured their Hot Buffet meal. Thank you so much! C&P

I’ve never had a bad meal here. I absolutely love the caprese sandwich and the orzo salad. We were there last week and I ordered a meatball sandwich. Yum. My boyfriend gets the special everytime lol. They have a nice olive bar and Pre made salads. A little pricey but really worth it for a quality meal.

OMG the special Sandwich is amazing. You got to go double meat! A half is filling, a whole is lunch for another day!

I used to frequent their Long Beach location quite often. The LB location had the best pizza and sandwiches. Loved it. Yesterday I went to the Seal Beach location and I was floored by how awful their pizza is. I’ve had better frozen ones.

Yesterday I called and asked to order an Italian Chopped salad for 8 people. The girl who answered the phone promptly told me in a not too friendly voice that they couldn’t do that, they only do individual salads. I asked her if she was sure that it couldn’t be done. She restated they only do individual salads. I promptly hung up and called Augustino’s in Garden Grove and asked the same question and he said sure they could do a family type salad. This isn’t the only time I have experienced this type of attitude here. A couple years back I ordered a catering order and not in the suggested time frame they required and they made sure to tell me that as well. Again I felt negative vibes. They did make the order and I must say it was good, but I certainly don’t appreciate the attitude and will not be giving them my business again.

The combination sandwich is what i always get when i come here and it ROCKS! The young ladies that run the place don’t ever seem to happy for some reason, but that doesn’t stop me for coming in to get that great sandwich… Stick with the sandwiches though. the pasta dishes I’ve had are not too tasty… maybe i just haven’t had the right one yet…

One of those, «Try it once, but never again» We ordered based on a 1 – 5, 5 being outstanding: Caprese sandwich– sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and olive oil. This sandwich had little taste. 1⁄5. Do not order. Spaghetti with meatballs– pasta and choice of pasta. 2⁄5. A cut above the jar sauce. Garlic bread– I think they forgot to warm the bread. 1⁄5 Chopped green salad — lettuce was crispy, but not much more than a wedge of lettuce. 2⁄5 Very casual dining in an Italian deli with a limited selection of groceries.

This is a casual place where you stand in line to order. People are friendly and location is great next to Starbucks in Target plaza. Unfortunately the food was not very good at all. My friend had a salad of sorts and took two bites and threw it away. the Pizza was not good either. the dough was very heavy. the pineapple was sour. two of us could not finish a single small pizza. I would actually give their food a 1.5−2.0, but they may have other dishes we did not try so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I love this place. I used to go to the one on Santa Fe when I worked in Long Beach. If you are looking for an mouth watering sandwich that fills you up and does not break the bank, this is a must. It does get busy at lunch time as all 5 star lunch places do, but the prompt friendly service makes it all worth it. I am not sure if I like the Italian or the meatball more, its s toss up. I am thrilled they built this one here in Seal Beach.

I came here on 01/14/2016 for lunch. First timer. I had a cold sandwich, The Special(imported ham, italian dry salami, cotto and swiss cheese). This sandwich is outstanding! The bread was soft and had the right amount of condiments. I ordered the large so it comes with double meat. If you are in the area and in the mood for a great sandwich or Italian food, check this place out. You will not be dissapointed. I will definitely return!

Santa Fe Importers is an Italian style deli located in Rossmoor. Ordered a Special sandwich. It’s their Classic Italian. The service was lightning fast. Fresh French bread and good Italian cuts. Not sure if I was just starving or it was really good. Either way, it was really satisfying. Check it out when you don’t want to go through the typical drive through and don’t have time to sit down for a full service lunch.

The special sandwich is amazing! Quick to serve as well. Customer service is pretty bad, but I could care less. Not every person is required to kiss my ass if they make a sandwich that delicious.

The worst pizza place EVER! Their customer service killed my experience. They were so rude and unfriendly. The girl at the counter, which who I cannot even name because she disnt give me a reciet, made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfotable. The antipasto salad was absolutely disgusting– so oily and blah. Oh, and have you ever heard of a pizza place that doesn’t have ranch? So stupid. My boyfriend and I planned to eat there but after the first 5 minutes we couldn’t get out fast enough.

Location: Plenty of parking as it shares a parking lot with several other«fast food» type restaurants, as well as a CVS, Ralphs, etc. Food: We tried the meatball sandwiches — they are HUGE but also equally hugely expensive in my opinion. It was good though — better than Subway’s version of course and you could taste that it was made with much better quality ingredients at least. Service: Don’t expect overly friendly service — I stared at the menu my first time for at least 5 minutes trying to decide and not one person asked if they could help explain anything to me or offered any samples(per some of the other reviews I read on Unilocal). When I ordered, the lady barely looked up at me. When I was handed my sandwiches, similar lack of eye contact.Sigh. Overall: I might give it another try if we are craving this type of food as it is fairly convenient, however if the service is similar I dont think we will be back. I believe in second chances unless its just HORRIBLE and while this place is expensive, if the service improves I would be okay with it.

I only come here on Thursdays, for the special Bolognese sauce. Today, as usual, I arrive only to be disappointed that they are out of the sauce. Even though I called ahead to check, and was told there was plenty, there obviously was not. Also, the place is empty, so I’m wondering who bought all the sauce in the past 30 minutes & vanished with it. Sigh

Walked in and told them it was my first time there. I was promptly given a sample of their meatballs, sausage, and head cheese. The service was every bit as good as my sausage sub with cheese added. I loved my sandwich and will definitely be coming back. Reasonably priced, wonderful tasting, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the sausage plump with snap.

I’d forgotten to buy pasta salad from the market earlier today. Found myself in a strip mall parked in front of Santa Fe Importers, an Italian Deli. Small, sweet store. Normally delis don’t get much traffic except during lunch and dinner time so they always seem dusty to me. This place is different. It sparkles. Nice selection of deli meats. Tossed green and macaroni cream salads. An olive bar. A wall filled with canned Italian sauces, and packaged noodles. We bought a pint of excellent pasta salad with Greek feta cheese. Smooth, and mellow. Not too sharp. Friendly, attentive customer service. Didn’t have time to browse, but will come back for a longer visit in the near future.
