This is NOT a fast food place. If you want your Chinese food readily made, go to Panda Express. This place makes your food fresh for you, so yeah, it’s going to take about 10 minutes. And the food is delicious, by the way. Made to your order.

I have to say I have come here before and have had some issues but today nothing like this… My kids ordered the kid’s meal both pick house chicken and my husband and I got the lunch special sweet and sour well it was not packed at all and the food took forever to get to us. When it did my husband got his and they had put three pieces of chicken in his meal WOW and my kids got there’s and it looked like it was cooked in tar it was gross tasted awful. So I took them both back and had them make something new. Another man was bitching as well about his food they made it three times for him. We paid $ 30 for this lunch and to tell you the truth I could have went PF chang’s and got a good lunch. Please make sure you look at your plate if you take it out. This place is so down hill feel sorry for anyone who comes in and orders to go!!! By the way the manager never came to talk to me and that pisses me off

For a fast food restaurant this one moved pretty slowly. Lots of chatter and talking in the kitchen but little food coming out. Ended up here as my favorite place was closed. I’d this is Asian food, I’m a Martian. Definitely not worth the wait.

This must compete for the worst food we’ve ever had. We had the chicken egg rolls and the orange peel chicken. We were starving and we couldn’t eat more than a couple bites of each. Truly terrible.

I had never heard of this chain(must be a west coast thing), but I like Asian food so I figured I’d give it a whirl. The girl who took my order was polite and patiently answered my questions about the menu since I was new to it. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and Kung Pao Beef. The Pad Thai was alright although the flavor was very different from other Pad Thais and appeared to have a mix of dark and white meat chicken which I was less than crazy about as I prefer white meat. The Kung Pao I only ate a couple bites. I didn’t like the taste at all. It was supposed to be spicy per the menu marking, but it was pretty mild. I had also asked for the Pad Thai to be made spicy and it also was pretty bland. I was hoping for leftovers for a couple meals since I ordered two entrees and I did have some noodles left, but I had to throw out the Kung Pao.

Broken. Showed up on a Wednesday evening for take out and it took 50 minutes to receive our food. The house chicken was good but the teriyaki fish was a soupy mess. Disappointing.

Unbelievable, I walk in and placed my order. i should have noticed the 13 other people sitting down with no food and the 13 tickets still pending. Pl aced order at 6:14 at 6:45 still 10 tickets and more people walking in. cant believe how slow this place is. will not be coming back. should have gone to my favorite place next door bamboo grill.

Mistakenly thought we could stop by for a quick fresh dinner of protein and veggies. Definitely was NOT quick, took a long time for the food to come out. We did enjoy watching the sunset on the patio while we waited and waited for food to come out. Ordered the simplest entrees — chicken and veggies along with the beef and broccoli. Chicken and veggies was edible, except for one piece of grisly chicken. The beef and broccoli was a huge mistake. It was bathed in a super sweet sauce and the beef was almost inedible — threw out several pieces. No intention of visiting again to find out if anything is light and healthy. Sad that all the menu items involve seem bathed in sugar.

Good Chinese food served here, but there was mold in my fortune cookie! Yikes! I was pretty upset cause I didn’t realize it had it until my daughter was half way done with hers! Lesson learned — always check your food.

I’ve been coming to this location on an off for years. on a whim i stopped by to have a house special chicken lunch. I haven’t been by for a long time so i figured i’d call ahead and order the only thing i like. Calling ahead went smoothly, my order was correct, the person was friendly, and they suggested the usual up sell, which i declined. house special chicken with white rice is all i wanted. I arrived a little early and waited a few minutes and then i was handed my order, shown where the sauces, napkins, and forks were and i left with my lunch. I know it’s been a while since i’ve been here, the house special chicken was just ok, not the best i’ve ever had, not the worst. I know it’s been a while since i’ve stopped by, but i could swear the portions used to be larger. Maybe I’m wrong? but it sure looked smaller. I ordered my meal with cream cheese won tons, which were ok, since the new plates aren’t compartmentalized, they were soggy after only a few minutes under the translucent protective dome. Overall it was ok, not great, not bad,. it was just Ok.

THESERVICEISHORRIBLE. There is nothing fast about this fast food place. I have visited twice and will never go back. First time, I ordered online and then still had to wait 25 minutes in store after my pick up time! The portions were SMALL for the price I paid, and when i asked the manager he simply said thats their standard size.(other locations have given much more) Second time I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. I went at 11:30am before a lunch rush when there was only one customer in the the entire store. ITSTILLTOOK25MINUTESTOGET A SIMPLELUNCHSPECIAL. I could have made it myself faster. There wasn’t any rush and the servers didn’t seem concerned at all. DONOTGOHEREUNLESSYOUHAVETONSOFTIMETOKILLANDYOUDON’T MINDPAYINGTOOMUCHFORSUBPARFOODANDSERVICE.

love the food and service here. Delicious, hot, and comes out really quick. Shout out to Maria their cashier… She’s really pleasant and genuine. It’s hard to find someone in fast food who actually cares how your day is, yet she carried on a nice conversation with me, as well as a couple older ladies in the store. Maria these 5 stars are for you :)

After seeing billboard after billboard of Panda Express on the dreaded 405 Friday afternoon commute home, I needed me some azn comfort food. I don’t really know where Panda Express is, so I called in for a take-out order from Pick Up Stix, and it was my first time having it. Wow, why have I not called in for take-out more often from here? Especially all those lazy dinner nights… They have all your Chinese feel good comfort foods and healthy options as well. I got a Thai coconut curry entrée which was really good and the veggie feast entrée. You can stuff quite a bit in those take out boxes. The cashier was friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person, food was ready when I got there, and it was tasty too. Weeeooowoeoeoeoeooooooo so good droolz.

Pick Up Stix has a healthier spin on Americanized Asian food which I really enjoy. Service here was great, I got my usual, Salmon with brown rice and veggies and it was excellent. Huge portion for $ 10, I had a whole box of rice to take home for dinner later. Food is made to order and takes awhile, about 10 minutes, and honestly after tasting that the veggies were still to raw for my liking I will ask for them to sauté them a bit longer next time. The fish was very very good, great quality, perfectly prepared. Super clean and well kept inside, all around great spot for lunch or dinner.

Stellar customer service. Iv been to a few of these locations before and this location had amazing customer service. I had more questions then I should of for just ordering Chinese food but the women was more then happy to help me. She helped me create combos to lower my bill and I was still getting the exact items I wanted! Super amazing! Sat and waited for my to go order and I was offered a water cup while I waited. Just the little things that make a great experience. Thanks guys! I will be back.

Luv the Mongolian beef here, but the service needs to improve. If I paid close to $ 10 for a meal, I expect a good dining experience. I have to admit, the young black girl(there are 2 currently right now, I am referring to the shorter of the two) working the register today 11÷16÷14 at 3:30pm needs MORE training. She wasn’t wearing a name badge, and she didn’t know there is a 10% military discount. When I brought it up to her, she kept repeating, «oh I already ran it thru.» ummm ok fix it. Terrible knowledge of cashier procedures and bad customer service. Pick up Stix management should hire mature individuals(that actually care) to be the frontline and representative of their restaurant. This establishment will not last if they continue to hire boneheads. Loyal customers, such as myself, will simply not return.

Food is the same as every other pick up stix but the staff is horrible. On Saturday at 2pm with no one else there, ordered my food to go and sat down. I waited for 20 minutes for one tofu lunch special while the 3 girls that worked there ate and gossiped behind the counter. One girl did bring me a sample of their new teriyaki salmon dish to try. She was the only one who was proactive(taking food orders, cleaning, etc.). The other two obviously didn’t want to be there. Pick Up Stix — hire a new staff and I’ll come back.

This is our standard go to for a quick Asian Food Fix. I like that all meals are made to order… so they’re not sitting around under a hot lamp. After your order is taken you can stand at the counter and watch as the kitchen staff bring your order to life. Our favorite meal is the Orange Chicken. The preparation seems to differ from one location to the next. We frequent the location on Seal Beach Blvd and the one on Bellflower. Our preference is the Seal Beach location because of their large outdoor patio that is shaded by umbrellas. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean and tidy, inside and out!

I have visited this location… twice! Each time was a HUGE disappointment. Both times, I placed an order over the telephone to come and pick it up. The first time, I got there to pick up my items(giving them the 10 minutes they said it would take), and I waited an additional 25 minutes. The employee was nice enough to give me a coupon for a free entrée on my next visit. It took me a long time, but I decided to use the coupon and give this place another try about three weeks ago. Like the first time, I got there to pick up my items(giving them the 10 minutes they said it would take), and I waited an additional 20 minutes… 5 – 10 of those minutes were waiting at the register waiting to be acknowledged(!!!) and helped. When I brought the food home, they had the order completely wrong. The spicy house noodles I asked for were not spicy at all! In fact, they tasted like watered down(insert not a nice word here). My boyfriend was nice enough to share his food with me, which was probably the only good thing that came out of both experiences. I will NOT, I repeat… NOT be visiting this location again. I’m not stupid enough to repeat the same mistake three times.

I ordered the house special chicken white meat only, and added vegetables. It was great, and the lunch size portion that comes with cream cheese wontons and rice was the perfect amount of food. My daughter ordered the broccoli beef, and she also enjoyed it. We threw in an order of fried dumplings, and they were yummy as well. My only complaint is that they keep this restaurant freezing! There is not one seat inside that doesn’t get blasted with cold air. Lucky for us, on this visit it was beautiful outside, so we took advantage of the solar heating!
