Great employees, fast service, and great sandwiches! Lots to choose from and the soda machine has a huge selection. Los Alamitos discount card has a good deal on it!

This is the worst Subway! I have been here twice. First time I got the sandwich of the day and instead of one flat piece of chicken, I got the same chicken cut up. I mentioned I wanted the sandwich of the day. No one said anything till the sandwich was made and I went to pay and I was charged way more than the sandwich of the day even after mentioning the price of the sandwich of the day and the only difference was my meat was previously cut up before I even walked into the store. The next time I came in they were only taking cash, they stated every time they have bad weather their credit card machine messes up, well I don’t want to hear this stores excuses just fix your problems. Then after I complained to corporate I get a call from a manager apologizing said he would e-mail me a free meal, this was months ago and that never happened!

Great location usually busy but the staff works through the line quickly and very accurate and communicate well for your specific orders

I eat here frequently and I am always greeted with a smile and fast service. They have a great soda machine and the toppings are always fresh.

I go to Subway often, but this has by far been my worst experience & location to date. Poor, poor customer service. If your ice machine is broken, put a note on it… don’t laugh when people keep asking you if it’s broken. Awful.

If you want to be barraged with insults, this is the store to go to. I ordered online and was unable to enter a coupon. I placed the order hoping the store could apply the coupon there and apply the credit to my credit card. I was in a hurry(just like the commercials advertising online ordering) and needed to be in and out. Instead, I arrived at the store with nobody at the counter. I waited. The other person waiting to place an order walked out. An employee entered from the back stuffing her hair in her hat(not sanitary since employee is handling food). She was dazed. I told her about not being able to apply the coupon. She left to get the store owner who was also in the back. Joseph, the owner, said he couldn’t help and I would need to «call the number» that I placed the order with. I told him that I placed it online and there was«no number to call». I asked him for the phone number and he didn’t know what the number was. At this point, I realized he didn’t want to help me. It’s not like he was busy — no customers, but was«busy» with his female employee. He knew I was frustrated. I asked for his name and he was short on giving me his name, but wanted me to know he was the owner. He would not give me his last name nor initial. He also was not wearing a name tag. He became verbally abusive. He was telling me not to be angry with him since it wasn’t his problem. WOW! Funny thing, I don’t think JOSEPH is the owner. .. awkward! I hope the«real» franchise owner steps forward and straightens out this store.

Great service, great sandwiches! Can’t see why some people choose to mark this location with 1 star?

Confused by the bad reviews… I’ve been here a number of times to satisfy my $ 5 sub cravings. The service is fine. No better, no worse than a regular Subway location. I just stopped by for a $ 5 footlong BMT(May’s $ 5 sub of the month is the BMT, my favorite). I read reviews that people weren’t given correct change. Why don’t you guys count your change? I’m confused. If something costs $ 6.50 and the cashier only gives me back dollars with no coins, it’s pretty obvious that something is wrong, which is when you ask them to fix it. In addition, I have never had problems ordering. If you want mayo or spicy mustard and the worker doesn’t put it on, guess what, just ask them! It’s a Subway, and it’s on you to tell them(perhaps more than once if necessary) to make your sandwich the way you want it. I know this is Seal Beach and all, but come on now… it’s a subway, not a 4 star restaurant. if you want cheery good service with your fast food then In N Out is a few hundred feet away.

First of all… advertising of $ 5 footlongs is FALSE. For the month of September this chain advertises turkey breast, Italian BMT and another sub. I got the turkey… and the charge to me was $ 6.25. WTF? Second of all… the service is just not there. My sandwich maker was half talking to his coworker as he started to make my sub. The only cheese this place carried was American and shredded cheddar. What happened to the others listed on the window? I could probably go on and on about the little details about my first and last visit to this location of subway but I’ll spare you the long review. You’re better off driving down the street to a Subway that’ll treat you and charge you right.

Who ever was in charge of the hiring at this location should be fired. Wow, consistently bad customer service no matter which employee you have the misfortune of encountering. One guy actually got mad and walked away never to be seen again when it took me more than 5 seconds to place my order… I hadn’t even made it to the counter yet! What a jerk; minimum wage it too much to pay that winner. If you want a poor dining experience and to be belittled, this is the place to waste your $$.

Wow! I’m surprised there’s bad reviews here. This Subway location is brand spanking new, but I’ve already gotten sandwiches here like 4 or 5 times. The staff is friendly and fast… surprisingly fast considering this is a new establishment, and they’re probably all new Subway employees. There was only one time I got a slow guy, and he was only slow because he was very careful with the ingredients, being a new worker. Admittedly, it took a good eight-ten minutes to get my sandwich, but when I got it, it was PERFECT. And yes, as someone else mentioned, there is an amazingly cool soda machine that makes over 100 different kinds of soda. The first time my friend and I stayed here, we opted to eat in instead of taking our sandwiches to-go simply because we wanted to stay and play with the machine. Great Subway location! Also, really nice to have an alternative to that lame, busy one across the street from the high school.

UGH!!! I had the WORST Subway experience I’ve EVER had before. at this location. I came in here one Saturday on my lunch break to try to quickly grab some food. The line didn’t bother me so much, nor did the stale«.welcome to subway.» greeting that I received as I walked in the door. But these employees, oh my god. Are they ALL as new as the store? Not only was my sandwich sloppy, I had to practically YELL at the kid making it to get him to add mayo, he wasn’t even paying attention to me! Then I get to the register and it’s two«bros» chatting away with each other. And of course, to top it off, they’re out of chocolate chip cookies. My lunch break was a half hour long. I had a whopping seven minutes to eat my food. and I work directly across the street. I sincerely believe that since there were a total of seven people working behind the counter, there should have been very minimal people waiting in line. But I stood in line for easily five minutes. That to me is utterly ridiculous. If you have seven people working, what is wrong with this picture!!! I just want Panera to open already. If I’m going to be paying $ 5 for a sandwich at Subway, I might as well have a gourmet one for an extra dollar or so. We’ll see how desperate I am before I ever set foot in this location again.

One star is for the self initiated tip. Upon my first visit here I ordered one sandwich that came to $ 6.53 and I was given $ 13 even change from a $ 20. I would have gone back but had to pick up my daughter from school. Store #49661, Clerk #32=Ripoff Artist. 1÷19÷11 Time 14:10:09 receipt # 14626 numbers don’t lie but you can try. This will be forwarded to Subway corporate for review of standards, do yourself a favor and fire this guy before you lose more business. Nice try to cover your ripping off of customers John A. There was no change in any cup unless you call that cup by it’s real name. the the name of pocket or the employee who felt he didn’t make a decent wage so he brought it upon himself to take my money. Nice try to save yourself but I’m not buying into your falsehood of statements here.

«What is that?» *points to the machine near the front door* «Well that is our Wonderfully Amazingly Magical Soda Pop Dispenser of course» Of course it is. «It makes every type of soda in the whole world. Regular Mr. Pibb or Diet Mr. Pibb, Diet Vanilla Coke, Sprite with lemon zest and a dash of cranberry juice in a collins glass and crushed ice» «Wow, that’s impressive» «You’re damn right it is. So are you ordering a sandwich or not?» «Foot long Italian B.M.T. on wheat with provolone, untoasted with light mayo and yellow mustard… please» That’s more or less how my first experience went. I decided to stop by this afternoon for lunch. The past few days had been rainy and it was nice to take a walk across the street. This is one of a few new places to buy food at The Shops @ Rossmoor and gives me more choices for lunch. This location isn’t much different from other Subway’s. Aside from their soda machine, which is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in awhile. I haven’t seen anything like it at any other«fast food» establishment. I wish I had one at home. The food? Well… it’s Subway. They make sandwiches, good ones in my opinion. I say come here first if you’re thirsty and come here second if you’re hungry.

Another new subway has opened! The staff here are outgoing and friendly. Every customer who walks in gets greeted and told(if there is a line) that they will be right with them. The girl who made my flat bread sandwich was a little sloppy but it tasted really good. Plenty of seatingI!
