My first Whataburger experience came during a routine fuel-up off the I-10 East on my way back to New Orleans. I got a double burger without cheese, fries, and a coke. I only managed to eat a couple of the fries, as the burger was much bigger than I expected! It was surprisingly good, for fast food. The buns were a touch on the sweet side, which I guess I like? Who knew? But if that’s not your deal, these burgers would be pretty gross. The drive-thru was a little bit slow, but not unforgivably so. If put in this situation again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop by again – but I’d get a single burger so I could enjoy some more fries.

I love whataburger, but this is the slowest service I’ve ever experience. almost 30 minute wait on drive thru. At least they got my order right

Poorest customer service that I have ever witnessed. The young girl at the register messed up the order in front of me, had to have the manager fix it, and when it was my turn she messed my order completely up.(two simple combos) She was rolling her eyes at me and didn’t seem to even be listening. I have worked in the food industry myself, and by no means should it EVER be ok to act that way to a customer. The manager had to step in and fix my order as well, and sent the girl to the back. Good was ok,. Nothing special, but I will never go here again.

I recently just moved here from California and this is the best burger spot in Texas hands down !!! The bacon and cheese whataburger is strongly recommended. If you like«in and out» your gonna love this spot.

Passing through the south and kept seeing Whataburgers so thought I should try. Big fan of In and out in the western states. Have to say that I am more impressed with Whataburger. This is In and Out without the persistent chaos. Staff quiet, kind and courteous. Service with a smile must be the norm here. Love it! So glad I stopped.

A good place to stop on the road from San Antonio to Houston. The food was good and the dining area was clean. What really made the difference was the service. The cashiers and the manager were so friendly. We forgot to order our burgers with cheese — totally our mistake. However when the manager brought us our food, she realized we were a little disappointed and offered to get us cheese right away. We said no because it had been our own fault, but to make up for it, she ended up bringing us free cookies instead. So nice and not something you would see at a lot of places these days. Also the spicy ketchup is great! :)

Whataburger was a Texas tradition that I never understood. It’s taken years to make sense but their niche makes them Texas pride. People in Texas love whataburger for its consistency, its always open late and they hit that niche of jalapenos on a burger in a small town late at night. This whataburger is right off of the interstate. I’ll never think the place has the best burger, i’ll never think it’s the end all of fast food but it’s common, ubiquitous and just about as traditional as visiting the Alamo when you’re in Texas.

If you’re randomly in this area and it’s in the middle of the night… you should stop by this Whataburger location. I usually do not write reviews on a fast-food chain restaurant, but this place is all about service! They brought out my meal on a tray and also showed me another tray of condiments, asking me if I wanted any. We’ve also accidentally spilled drinks and all… they were super nice and got it all cleaned up. I mean, it was just different experience for me and if I were to randomly have fastfood, I would probably go to Whataburger again.

Here are some facts about Whataburger: – it is open 24 hours. – you can get jalapenos and fresh avocado on any sandwich. – they even serve their own brand of spicy ketchup, whose ingredient list includes red jalapenos. Everything about my burger was delicious(okay, I did pick off the tasteless tomato slices). In-n-Out, eat your heart out!

Food and service was ok but seriously… The nastiest bathroom I have ever seen. One look and I turned around and walked to the counter. Upon detailing the horrid conditions of their ladies room, the kid behind the counter exclaimed, «Yeah, I know. It’s always that way». I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Enter at your own risk.

The food was ok but the drive through was a different story. Every time I spoke to the girl serving at the window, she would ask my husband what I said. I speak perfect English, she was just a bitch so I decided to ask her after we got our order if she had problems understanding me. That blows the whole experience so it didn’t matter if the food was good or not.
