This used to be a really nice place to get coffee after shopping. Not anymore! Every evening when we stop in, there are homeless people hanging out INSIDE the business. One of them even keeps his dogs with him inside. We couldn’t sit inside because they smell and make us feel like the place is dirty. Sad that now we will be getting our coffee at Panera but it’s better than dealing with the degenerates hanging out inside Starbucks.

This used to be my favorite Starbucks on the peninsula. It was always clean, never too crowded and a nice quiet place to get a cup of coffee and read the paper. This is no longer the case. Over the last month it has turned into the premier homeless hang out. No matter what time of day you go the same group of transients can be found in or around this Starbucks. They are loud, obnoxious, dirty and always asking for money. Worst part is they bring their smelly dog into the business with them! For some reason the management is ok with this. So if you like to be hit up for money and like the smell of dirty dogs and urine while you drink your coffee this is the place for you. If not I recommend going to the Starbucks in Seaside like I will be from now on.

Everything you love about Starbucks. Quality, consistency, and cleanliness. I’ve started using the mobile order feature on the Starbucks app, and this place has their system down. It’s ready as predicted. I can order from my driveway, drive down the hill, walk in, grab my coffee and bagel, walk out. Easy peasy. Nick is an awesome barista! Super friendly and makes a great latte.

One of the things we especially appreciate about this Starbucks is the easy access to the freeway. On our way home we always stop by here for a our Starbucks to ‘go’. This Starbucks is small and parking can be tight. BUT the service is very fast, friendly and our request for our favorite specialty coffee’s are always made perfectly.(There’s a ‘drive’ through also.).

There’s a Starbucks on every corner it seems like these days, so I’m going to assume that you know what they have to offer here… I’ll try to give you an idea on the unique qualities of this location. The interesting thing is that the Target in the same plaza has a licensed franchise… so if you’re a coffee addict you can start here on your shopping trip and keep a steady ‘drip’ going(pun intended). This location is small, on the magnitude of hole in the wall when compared to ultra large members of the chain on Lighthouse Ave. This location is recommended for early morning(before 9) or afternoons as the window faces the sunrise and you pretty much need to sport your Ray Bans ® to make use of the lounge area of the café.

Grabbing drinks on our way to SF for the weekend. This place was super busy on a Saturday morning at 8:30! But they were staffed appropriately and the barista was moving super fast! It’s very clean and in a convenient location(by a gas station, chipotle, panera, target, etc). As a barista myself, what I noticed about this place is that the staff knows what everyone gets here. Essentially, they are good enough to have a set group of regulars and they keep them coming back for the drinks and the experience! Since I worked at my family’s shop and now a Peets, I like seeing this in coffee shops, and this in a starbucks? Says a lot. The drinks were delicious too!

Generally, starbucks is starbucks. But the baristas here were so sweet and helpful that I had to leave a review! If this is your regular coffee stop, lucky you. They are so nice and always go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your drink and experience!

Weirdest Starbucks I’ve been in. But it’s pretty cool. Something is just different about this location. I think the baristas throw their own spin on things. Always friendly and efficient

We stopped by for a quick frappé and was hooked up with/extras! The best decaf vanilla frappé w/whipped cream and added caramel syrup!

Long, fun day + long drive home = stop for Starbucks. This location was fairly easy to get to from the highway, and service was good and quick. Warning for those with low cars: the surrounding parking lot is full of speed bumps.

Friendly staff, but for being one of their first handful of customers for the day, the place didn’t feel clean. I was sort of surprised how gross the bathroom was already. It reeked like a Port-a-Potty. Also — the cinnamon/cocoa/vanilla shakers were filthy on top and the half and half didn’t seem chilled enough. It is what I would expect a Starbucks to look like at 10pm after a long day.

The review is for the manager Andee. I have been coming here for several years, and I have never been treated so coldly by anyone in a place of business. I see her interact with other customers and she is pleasant and friendly, greets them by name knows their order, but for some reason she hates me! As a manager she should lose the attitude and be a little more professional! Aside from her attitude the rest of the staff is great.

I love the staff that work the morning shift during the week at Starbucks in Sand City. They know my son by name, remember his order, and greet him as soon as he comes in. They are always friendly and fun. Every other Friday I go with my son for a tea before he gets on the school bus and today one of the staff asked if he was my son and I said, «yes.» She then stated he was such a sweet kid and they love seeing him every morning. I am glad my son is so well liked. Thank you to the Starbucks crew, you all rock!

This has become my new coffee stop in the mornings. This location is much more efficient and friendly than the one in Del Monte that I used to go to on the way to work. The staff is very friendly and makes the coffee quickly and very hot.

Nice staff, good drinks. It’s busy so things are usually fresh. Parking can be a pain so be careful getting in and out of your car. Clientele can be questionable so watch your purse
