I did not have a good experience. The chips were somewhat stale, the salsa was not spicy, and the steak in the enchiladas was over cooked and tough.

Over price, empty restaurant and extremely small dishes. I mean tiny. And for $ 8.00 I expect more than two tortillas. a small cup of beans, and chopped tiny salad. THISISRIDICULOUS. Please stop charging for food that can’t fill a child. Terrible. And why they were empty at noon during a work week, now I know why. I should have left. And for some strange reason it took a lengthy amount of time to get my small and tiny serving. DON’T BOTHER.

:( This cute family owned restaurant showed promise as we walked in and already 4 other tables(about 1⁄3 of the tables) full. We were shown to our table and promptly given menus and water, fresh chips and a nice mild salsa. The restaurant was clean bit old. The highchair was dirty with missing straps. They serve Salvadorian food and the staff appeared to be Hispanic. I was excited to try something different and noticed their specialty was pupusas. So I ordered 3 different kinds. My kids got the enchiladas and street tacos with carne Asada. They brought out our drinks, horchata and a warm sweet corn dink that I can’t remember the name of. I’ve made my own horchata using authentic Mexican recipes so I know what to expect. I’m pretty sure this horchata was made from an instant mix. Very gritty and very sweet. I don’t know what the corn drink is supposed to taste like but I enjoyed it even knowing it was possibly from a mix as well and not homemade. The food arrived soon after and I appreciated the quick service. However this is where all the warm fuzzies started to disappear. First they totally messed up my daughters enchiladas with the wrong meat and the wrong sauce. We sent it back. It was at this point I noticed my fork had dried cheese on it so I handed to the waiter and asked for a new one. My pupusas looked amazing! Next came out my sons tacos, the kind on soft corn tortillas. The meat was scarce. :(and the corn tortillas were not even warmed up! No lime either. Very very disappointing. Finally my daughters re-do enchiladas came out. With the right meat but again with the wrong sauce. She said she’d eat it anyway so we did not mention it to the waiter that it was still wrong. We get to eating and my pupusas are even better tasting then they looked! But my kids did not get so lucky. The refried beans were nothing special, tasting like watered down canned beans from Costco. The rice, eh. I tried my daughters carne Asada and every bite I took was fatty and gristly. Some was so bad she had to spit it out as it wasn’t even edible. Her corn tortillas were not heated up either leaving 3 very cold enchiladas. The entire time we were there no one refilled our waters either. This is an absolute no-no in my book. You always keep a customer’s water filled. If they only served pupusas this place would be great! Maybe shut down the restaurant and open a food truck! I gave the pupusas 4.5 stars but the rest of the review gets a 2.

AMAZING tacos but 4 stars because there was only one server for the entire restaurant and it took a little while for the food to come out. Completely worth the wait though

Great place to eat and so reasonable by Sea-Tac airport. Food is fresh and if you want traditional Salvadorian food including their 6 different Pupusas made with rice or corn flour.(great for that gluten-free person). Stop by, I eat here on any of my airport runs. Victoria Über Driver.

Hidden gem off 99. Pupusas are great! Got some Mexican food on menu as well but definitely a Salvadorean joint.

We had a not so good experience at the restaurant. We ordered the paposas, enchiladas, and carne asada tacos to share at the table. For drinks, we ordered a margarita which surprisingly had no liquor in it. The rice was cold and the beans were watered down. When I approached the server to tell him our food was cold, it didn’t seem to phase the server. The service was substandard to say the least where we had to ask three times for a glass of water, in a restaurant where we were the only patrons.

Fast, friendly service. Corn pupusas just $ 2.40 each. Got one cheese/zucchini and one cheese/spinach. They were ok. Would have preferred more veggie and less cheese; cheese overpowered any veggie taste. Curtido(cabbage slaw) could have used more vinegar but still good — I ate it all. Good value. Give it a try.

Quaint & clean. Service was nice. Chips & salsa were ok and free. Camarones a la Diablo was GREAT. Just the right amount of spice for me(but I like things pretty spicy). Rice was ver good accompaniment. Surprise small salad was also tasty. Would definitely come back if staying near SEA.

I had an excellent meal here two weeks ago and would recommend this place to anyone. I’ve eaten many wonderful pupusas and authentic mole dishes before, but the food at las palmas was unbeatable! I ordered several pupusas including their pupusa loca, which had a wonderful flavor of vegetables, cheese and meat. The sauce and cabbage accompanying the pupusa was plentiful and seasoned appropriately. I also had a chicken mole dish that was out of this world! The seasoning was rich and deep — perfect! and not too greasy. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone because of its affordability, great service, and the quality of their food. You won’t be disappointed!

No service. No flavor at all, very bland. Saturday night at 7:30 only had family there(who got all the attention).

Pretty good! Salsa was a bit runny, and not at all spicy, but had good flavor. Puputas were tasty, although I have no frame of reference. Husband got the quesadillas, looked good, and he liked them. Kid got beans and rice… weirdest refried beans I’ve ever seen. They were soupy! But he seemed to like them. I got a margarita on the rocks, it was obviously made with a mix… only ok. Overall it was a good experience, but not fabulous.

EXCELLENT!!! I just wanted to eat some good papusas and this place hit the spot. I loved it! I ordered 5 different ones(way to much for one person I’d only order 3 next time) and all were delicious. I think my favorite one was the cheese and beans. The said they bring out with the cabbage isn’t that spicy so make sure to ask for the really hot one and it’s amazing. My lips felt like I just got Botox but I love the burn. The service was quick and friendly, the place was nice and quiet. They offer delivery as well but I recommend you eating the papusas while they are hot and fresh. When they are hot and closed in the moisture will make the texture all the same so think about that before making it to go

Maybe I shouldn’t have had Mexican food at a Salvadoran restaurant. My Chili Relleno sat in a pool of grease and there was no texture to it at all– no crunch to the breading. I’m not sure if it was cooked long before I ordered or just fried really badly. The chips, salsa, and tortillas are clearly from a bag/bottle. Read the reviews with lots of stars and go for the papusas and Salvadoran food and I hope you’ll be more satisfied.

Despite what it says in the title of the restaurant as being a Mexican restaurant; Las Palmas is an El Salvadoran restaurant as well. The menu items are slightly different from your typical Mexican restaurant both in taste and presentation. Many of the menu items are indeed Mexican food. There are burritos, tacos, quesadillas and such. I got the menu item described as a Cheese Stuffed Chile. It sounds like a Chile Relleno but the similarity stops there. The chile was stuffed with hamburger, cheese, onions and more. Something like what you might see with a casserole dish. The dish is not too spicy but I enjoyed it all the same and would certainly get the dish again. Other positive elements to the dining experience was the chips and dip that we got to start out with but instead of salsa we got a kind of bean dip which was quite good! The sides that came with our dish, rice and refried beans were very good as well! The bean dip was not the same thing as the refried beans. Let that be said. I only have one negative comment to make about Las Palmas and that was my Horchata drink. I really did not care for it. It seemed to be grainy at the bottom of the glass and kind of stuck in my throat. Perhaps this was the authentic version of the drink. I don’t know. I really don’t care for flavored drinks that are made out of powder because of that throat thing. All that gunk gets stuck there. The Horchata I have had before I just got out of a soda fountain before and drank it with ice and enjoyed it. This drink had no ice and was almost luke warm. Despite that I did enjoy the food and would go back. I probably won’t get the Horchata again but Las Palmas is good for south of the border food and unique. South of Mexico’s border that is. P. S. The other appetizers here are very good! The Pupusas are excellent!
