Definitly not as good as I remeber it. They changed the lunch menu when I called. SO what I thought they had online was not what I was able to order. I beleivee they also charged me for dinner price not lunch. $ 21 for lunch is not worth it.

I visited this place on the recommendation of my hotel driver, what a mistake. I had the Hereford prime rib, thinking since it was the most expensive thing on the menu it must be good. Instead I got a slab of greasy and overcooked goo, seriously I’ve had better beef at McDonald’s. When I asked the staff if I could get something else, all I got was attitude so I walked out without paying. Avoid this place at all costs.

This is my 100th review and I just had a great meal. I have been staying across the street for years on and off at the Doubletree and this was my first visit. Upon entering, you see the chickens smoking before your eyes. It smells wonderful. I ordered the Applewood smoked pulled meat BBQ salad. My server brought it out within 5 or 6 minutes. It came in a giant glass beer stein that she poured on my plate. As far as salads go, this may have been one of the best ever. The meat was tender, the onion straws added the right crunch, and the romaine was fresh. It was just the perfect blend of seasonings, textures, and taste. The portion size was perfect as well for a hungry guy like me. They have a house branded hot sauce that has some habernero in it and it is sooooo good. My server was polite, efficient, and never let my water levels down. I can’t wait for my next layover here so I can try their other items, especially their prime rib.

We loved our experience here! The food & service were awesome. We had a group of 8& everyone raved about the food! The waitress, Zenash, was adorable! She made it even more special! We were celebrating my son’s marriage + they were visiting from overseas. When Zehash found out, she brought them a dessert(ice cream & cake) with a BIG sparkler! So different & pretty! And again, everyone cleaned their plates, even the picky one’s!

Every time I come to Seattle I visit Sharp’s and I am never disappointed. This visit I started with the best tomatoe soup that was tasty with small chunks of diced tomoatoes and herbs. I then had their bacon wedge salad. Then the Turkey Melt which was moist and delicious. Sharp’s never disappoints.

We gave Sharps a try at the recommendation of a friend and weren’t disappointed. Their Prime Rib is exceptional!!! The Demi Glaze is very tasty as were the crushed potatoes and broccoli with cheddar sauce. We’re looking forward to a return visit soon!

Consistently good food at great prices with quality service. I travel through SeaTac once a year and this is usually one of my stops. Long-term staff suggests that something is working well here. Pat, the bartender, is always on top of his game and serves up drinks with a winning smile even when he has to «spin the wheel» every 30 minutes. Impressive collection of bottles at the bar. Amazing late-night happy hour pricing on all things tasty(4:00p — 6:00pm and 10:00pm — midnight). ****Hot Sauce Enthusiasts, Take Note — the house hot sauce is killer tasty and very spicy!

I make a point to go to Sharps barroom for 1. beers I never see in SF and 2. the salmon and chips plate. At some point I’ll get there for happy hour and again, shove my fat face full of whatever rich greasy bar food they might be offering up at half-price. HOWEVER, management listen up! The last time I was there some poor rightly unhappy suck had to take to the intercom to offer the 2 tables in the place some ridiculous drink-wheel special. Please god, we’re all 40 plus and over Midori at 2 in the afternoon. Stop this marketing nightmare. Seriously, you’re embarrassing yourself and really irritating clients and staff alike.

Started coming here several years ago, Menu changes over time but great food and long term staff make a pleasurable dinning event or business meeting. One of my favorites!

Decent bar and grill. They had some good drink choices but not a big drinker so didn’t care too much. I really wanted the prime rib sandwich but they were out so I settled for the 10-spice BBQ chicken. Was not disappointed at all. I added their hot sauce to the BBQ sauce to give it some kick and it made the meal even better. I also had the chowder for appetizwr which was just ok. We actually bought a bottle of their hot sauce to take home. Overall an enjoyable experience.

It was a bit pricy and the quality was so and so, however there was plenty of it. Customer services was good, she kept our glasses filled. We ordered onion rings, not much flavor but they looked fantastic! Thick with a perfect looking outer crust, Mac and cheese: although cheesy it didn’t seem to have the right blend of cheeses, hot wings: way too fatty… where’s the meat? Kids sliders… don’t go there! Worse than school lunch food, seemed the meat sat out and was reheated from a week ago., pork sandwiches: was great! Lots of Flavor and smoke with toasted bun. Overall we would possibly revisit again.

I went in to grab dinner while working one night and this place was not what I expected. I mistook roasthouse for alehouse and when I got inside, the place was not only packed with people, it was really cramped for space. I made my way to a small table in the bar area and got seated. The waitress was way stressed out and too busy to think. She took my drink order and went for that while I read my menu. I then ordered the steak and a cup of chowder. She came back with the chowder very quickly but then had to inform me that they were out of the steak. I changed my order to the ribs and got to the business of eating my chowder. It was good. Really good but still had a few grains of sand in it. Overall though it was on par with some of the best chowders I’ve ever eaten. Just after I ordered my meal, my phone rang. It was work and they needed me to drive an hour away right that second so I had to cancel my order of ribs and hit the road. I finished the chowder and downed my drink in a hurry and then left a nice tip since I had seemed to cause my waitress so much more stress. I don’t know if I’ll return to Sharps or not. It didn’t seem like my type of place but I am still curious about that steak. Who knows, maybe one day and then I’ll come back and update this review. Until then, go see if you like it or not.

I was trapped at a work conference at an airport hotel across the street. This place was nearby and within walking distance so we gave it a try for dinner. I was a little scared because this place has an element of kitsch to it, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my meal. Upon entering I was greeted by a piece of meat in a red lit window. At first I thought I had found the red light district of Seatac, but then I was informed it was their prime rib being slow roasted for 12 hours. Pretty impressive. They had a great drink special, $ 5 for a Manhattan. Not bad at all. They also had a phenomenal drink selection and a ton of beers on tap. I ordered the smaller size of Sliced Sirloin of Angus Beef for $ 21.50. It came with the most amazing Crushed Sour Cream Potatoes. I usually don’t eat mashed potatoes but these were terrific. It also came with a side of veggies and some demi glaze. High quality meats and a great drink selection conveniently located by my airport hotel.

Ugh… where to start? First of all, any establishment that serves a thick brown gravy on their prime rib has something to hide. This place does just that. Don’t come here if unless you want everything on your plate to be drowned in a horrible, store-bought-tasting barbecue sauce. Even things on the menu that don’t claim to be BBQ will arrive drowned in said sauce. They do at least bring you a «barbecue kit» that contains a bib, plastic gloves, and a wet wipe, which they wouldn’t need to if everything wasn’t swimming in sauce. One nice touch is that the host or hostess brings a large fresh-baked cornbread biscuit maple syrup right to your table as they seat you, so you have something to eat straightaway. There are also small paper bags filled with smoke wood and a recipe for«two-day smoked chicken» at each table, which are complimentary. This is a small detail, but parking here is tricky. Not only is the lot too small for its location(right by SeaTac airport and a hotel), the parking spaces themselves are far too small. We ended up here twice during our vacation, and it was consistently poor on both occasions.

Decent local beer selection on draft, but I felt the menu in general was WAY overpriced and the food was just ok. Waitress also seemed very anxious to get out order in which we didn’t appreciate. While I didn’t care for it, the table consensus was yum on the cornbread starter. As for the meal, I had the open faced turkey sandwich. It was good, but didn’t feel it was at all worth the $ 18 price tag. I thought BBQ sauce on an open faced turkey and gravy sandwich was an odd combination that didn’t do anything for me except make me wonder who wanted to put BBQ sauce on open faced turkey and gravy sandwich?! My wife had the salmon tacos which she said were ok, but the salmon did not taste fresh. She also ordered the clam chowder. I say ordered because she didn’t eat it; «terrible» she said. Mom ordered the BBQ beef sliders and a Caesar salad which she said were both very good so I guess that was the bright spot of the night. Not a ton of options around Sea Tac to eat, but I would recommend elsewhere.

Great place for dinner and brews. 26 brews on tap. I had an open-faced turkey sandwich with cheese… Delicious. My wife had the Salmon, which was quite good(and you know we know Salmon in the Pacific Northwest). A friend had the burger which looked delicious I washed it all down with a Hale’s Superpgoose; one of the best double IPAs I know of. And you gotta check out the Men’s room; covered with framed 8×10 Gary Larson Far Side cartoons(sorry ladies).

We found ourselves in the SeaTac area running a little ahead of schedule for our afternoon flight. Since this place was right across from the airport parking company we were planning on using, we decided to stop in for a quick lunch. The place was quite empty, but I chalked this up to this being more of a place to have dinner. Everything was done up really nice like a fancy barbecue joint. When we walked in, we immediately noticed the meats roasting in the rotisserie and thought we’d be in for a treat. I ended up ordering the Kansas City, which came with fries. The fries were very, very yummy. I couldn’t stop eating them! The sandwich itself was a little disappointing. I’m not a terribly big fan of coleslaw to begin with, but they really heaped it on. I could taste that much more than the meat itself, which should have been the star of the sandwich. I should have ordered it on the side, but hindsight is 20/20, I suppose. What meat I could taste, though, was great. It was extremely tender, and the sauce was just the right balance of sweet, tart, and heat. Overall, the lunch was decent – not fantastic – and the prices were a bit on the high side. That said, if you happen to be in the area with time to kill before a flight, this place is definitely better than some of the other restaurants in the area!

Thank you Sharps Roasthouse for saving my birthday! I was visiting Seattle and the plan was to have a birthday dinner out with a good friend — but her babysitter flaked so that plan was dashed. I asked at the front desk of the hotel where they would recommend for a birthday dinner & they suggested Sharps Roasthouse(and provided me with shuttle transportation to and from the restaurant). I had a pulled chicken salad and it was delicious. But my surprise of the night came when your staff presented me with a birthday desert that I swear had a firework where the candle would normally be! It was crazy — but in a good way. I hadn’t even told any of the staff that it was my birthday but they must have overheard my husband wishing me a «happy birthday».
