Popped into Bar Sue for brunch after finding Atta Boy on Unilocal and was glad I did. Got the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken was fried perfectly and the Tabasco butter paired really well with the chicken. The waffle was actually a tater tot waffle and was also delicious with the included maple syrup. Would definitely recommend stopping by for brunch.

Enter the bar called bar sue, is a pop in «permanent» restaurant window Called attaboy. Sandwiches after 5pm and brunch on the weekends for a whole different menu. A twist on brunch classics from what I see on Zachery chambers Facebook/instagram. I think it is attaboy. Zachery comes from a great resume of restaurants; You can google it. And so when I heard he was opening up his own shop, I knew I had to go. I always wait a few weeks after opening for them to figure out the kinks. So finally I try it out and ordered the safest and my most favorite go to order. Fried chicken and fries. But zack sold me on the waffle tots. And I am glad I did. The fried chicken sandwich is delicious. Sweeter than I usually would take a fried chicken sandwich. But nonetheless pleasantly surprised. Loved it, but the winner are the waffle tots. They were yummy, I got my order to go and it still kept it’s crisp. I am happy for this cool pop up sandwich shop, and hope they add a salad so that I could feel a little bit better about eating high end yumminess. Oh, and the prices are pretty decent for the quality of food. I definitely will be coming back. So glad it was yummy and not disappointing like a lot of new restaurants that popped up on Capitol Hill.
