Ordered: — Fish tacos which were VERY delicious. The fish was nice and crispy and the sauce and salsa compliments the two very nicely. — Steak tacos in which my bf very much enjoyed, he craves it from time to time. — Potato and cheese tacos are a hit or miss, I thought it was okay, wasn’t crazy about it — Margaritas were strong, def. worth your money Service: — our server was very attentive and made sure to fill our waters when necessary. Not the friendliest but def. wasn’t bad. The place is a bit small, wish the bar section was a tad bit bigger. Ventilation during the summer can be a bit humid, but it’s nice and cozy. Overall, we throughly enjoyed the food at Baja Bistro, it is definitely a great local neighborhood bar to just escape to and grab a bite.

This place is so cute. It’s pretty small, 22 total seats(that I could see). They welcomed us warmly and the service is great. There are a lot of employees for such a small place. I had the chicken enchiladas and it was delish & filling. Everything is cheap too!

Came in for the first time after unsuccessfully trying to get Beacon Ave Sandwiches. Cozy place with great service. The chicken mole enchiladas were excellent, exactly what(my gringo taste buds say) they should be. Will have to come back and try more.

We were in the area and decided to try Baja Bistro. We could not find parking anywhere near the place and wound up down the block in a residential area. The place is tiny, maybe 8 tables. Wifey tried the Chilaquiles and a side of bacon. These were just a mess, mushy. Chilaquiles are supposed to have some texture and crisp chips. Decent flavor but just a plate of soggy mess. And the bacon never came and had to be removed from the check.

Potato tacos! Seriously! I kept coming back to them on the menu because they sounded so… ummmm… weird. But, then curiosity won out and I had to get ‘em. Here’s what I got: the most amazing corn tortilla slightly fried, filled with seasoned mashed potatoes and slivers of cabbage, and then served with perfect fresh salsa. Dunked in a dollop of sour cream it tasted liked the best loving marriage of a taco and a(chain restaurant) potato skin. And, I mean that in the best possible way. Yum!

Wanted to go to a local place. Found this on Unilocal and it was close. Has a real world feel. Looks and smells like a restaurant owned by people and not shareholders. The food was really good. The service was excellent. Xena was fantastic and friendly and has a beautiful smile and table side presence. Parking may not be great but you are still in a city. Full bar. No one was rushing me. Prices were good. I would absolutely come back.

Love this ‘caus’ neighborhood bar where ‘everyone’s your friend.’ I threw my head back aghast that I could actually taste the tequila in my Margarita. Let’s not let everyone know how superb the Carne Asado Tacos tasted.

Great Happy hour, friendly bartender and delicious margaritas make this place awesome to hit after work. It’s about a block from the light rail too, so it makes it easy to get to from downtown.

Cute inside. They had no issue with an order to-go. I ordered the breakfast burrito. It was nothing to wrote home about. Heavy on the potatoes. The eggs were broken then fried not scrambled, which is what you’d expect. And the bacon was full length strips curled inside the tortilla, rather that cut up and made bite sized. I might try their dinner but the breakfast burrito wasn’t awesome.

Another neighborhood standard, Baja Bistro has fresh and tasty food and never lets us down. A friendly place to meet neighbors for coffee or breakfast.

Based on only one meal– and I’m from Texas so have high standards of Mexican food. I felt like the coffee was lacking punch but the service and atmosphere were excellent. The chilaquiles was not the same chilaquiles I’ve been served near the border– the corn tortillas were soggy and it was heavy on the tomato sauce– reminding me more of lasagna than chilaquiles! But it was surprisingly still good and it hit the spot after spending 4 days camping in Rainier. I would go back for sure, but maybe I’d order something else.

I enjoyed this restaurant because the walls are artistically colorful and the music is lively. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food was delicious. I found that parking was difficult but if I lived in the neighborhood it would be a very easy walk. It’s probably a 5 – 10 minute walk from the Beacon Hill light rail station.

I’ve been going here for five years now & the good quality has deteriorated over the years — the salsa is heavily watered down & tastes awful & they reheat a lot of food and then serve it so it looks like dishes are several days old. Their happy hr 4 – 7 has $ 3 beers & $ 2 tacos but I’m gonna stop going here now — food is just not good anymore

I came to this cute, teeny tiny place with some coworkers for happy hour… where my coworker is apparently a local celebrity and knows everybody in here. The drinks and mini tacos were really awesome — we tried an assortment and they definitely tasted fresh and authentic. The bar/restaurant itself was small and cramped but cozy — and you became friends with everyone around you really quickly. It was a great place to have a conversation with friends, have some good drinks and enjoy some good food. It was even somewhat easy to find street parking… and in Seattle, too! It’s not a destination spot but definitely an awesome locals place if you live in the area. I wish we had a spot like this where I live!

A place to get a good, Mexican-inspired breakfast that doesn’t require you to wait outside in a line for :30. The restaurant looks to be a converted house with the tables in the front and a home-style kitchen in the back. The menu can’t be considered large, but has enough options and variety for someone to come back every weekend for brunch. Will return when feel like a close-by place with something outside the normal egg+sausage routine.

I’ve always drove past this place to and from work and wondered if it is any good… The salsa is tasty and it does have a little hint of spice to it. I ordered the chicken enchilada which is a suggested must try by past reviewers. I would say it is decent. The sauce over the enchiladas were more watery than what I’m used to. My coworker ended up ordering the beef torta and it is delicious! Next time, I will order the beef torta instead of the chicken enchilada. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive at our table. I would suggest to order it to go… if you are on a time crunch for lunch. The price is reasonable… my bill was approximately $ 18 for the two meals. Also, I noticed the happy hour menu is from 3−7pm. Beers go for $ 3 and the margaritas are $ 5!

This is the only gay bar family Mexican restaurant combo in the world. Everyone who works here is cute and nice. The mole is great, the drinks are great, brunch is AWESOME, but why no more Ru Pauls Drag Race???

«Good Beans and the Right Price» I came here from San Francisco And craved good huevos rancheros The tortillas had bite, The sauce: fresh and light, and the eggs bore a nice, runny yolk. (Also, eat with Tapatio)

Had some mole here to go. Very affordable and tasty. I know Seattle doesn’t have a lot Mexican restaurants, so this should be consider as a good one. Though, yea, we ordered to-go, but no chips offered. :(
