Went there to party one day yet left with a Rack of Ribs. apparently its a BBQ joint now, some I.T. guy done good and now chasing his romance with slowly cooked meats(that’s the word on the street). perhaps one day we all might rejoice in karaoki there again, until then the pulled pork is amazing.

Bogarts karaōke was legendary. Thank you so much for putting up with all of our shenanigans through the years. RIP Dildo Annex.

Well… Damn. I would say that the show I saw — a free punk record release show– was a five star experience for sure. This isn’t a convenient place, but the staff is nice, the place is decent and the drinks are affordable. If a band you know is playing here, definitely come, it’s a great place to get your show on.

The only reason this place got 1 star is because of their decent beer selection. They supposedly have pool tables, which is why we went, but we were not allowed to go play because they were having«meetings» in the pool room, according to the lame old-lady bartender. She didn’t even say 2 words to us the entire time we sat at the bar. She definitely came across rude and uninterested in us and obviously could care less about us or our money. She got no tip and we left after we each finished our beer. Definitely will not be going back here!

Came here for a work lunch with colleagues. Good homemade clam chowder on Friday. It could have been a bit hotter, but it was buttery with plenty of clam and potato. Tasty! Prime rib French Dip was also good. The roll was nicely buttered and toasted, and although there wasn’t a mound of beef on the sandwich, like you’d get in my hometown of Philly, it was very tasty, especially with the au jus. Atmosphere is perfect for a near-airport dive bar/restaurant. The iced tea needs work, though.

Good drinks… close to ballgames, and free parking. Whats there to complain about??? Bogarts, Goldies? Call it what you want but I call it convienant!

I only come here for the necessary meetings in my group, otherwise I’d avoid it. It’s a little dive with okay food, but nothing special.

Just attended an event in their private space(I know, I did not know it was their either); anyways, it has tons of personality and is great for a medium-sized party. April was the bartender and she was FANTASTIC! We had an amazing time! The private space has it’s own bar and bathrooms which makes the space even better. They treated us right and we would not hesitate to book another event here!

I heart Goldies! Where else can you come and do karaōke and there is never a long wait until you get to sing! The bartenders are super nice! The drinks are strong and inexpensive. Though I noticed that when I bought my friend a Heineken it was $ 5.00 but when she bought it it was $ 4.50. I don’t know why the discrepancy. They have an outdoor area with a privacy fence around it. Since I’m not a smoker I didn’t check it out. I’m not sure how you get into it though. I also noticed they had some tables like poker tables where you can play cards with friends. Come on out to Goldies!

My husband went there with a group and brought me a chicken sandwich with bacon and fries to go. He had a steak and fries, but got to talking and didn’t eat his steak, so that came home too. The steak looked good and my food was really good. He says the service is great and I saw the receipt — the bill with both meals, a soda and a cocktail was only about $ 28 — a great deal!

I went here with my coworkers for lunch. If you have ever been to the SODO district and imagined what the bars would be like, this place is no different. Kinda dirty, odd-smelling with a mix of alcohol/beer and cigarettes, a pool table, and some old game machines. The food is pretty average and nothing memorable. I had a Philly omelet, but the beef was a little dry and the eggs must have been some of that fake egg stuff which I do not like at all! I think the only thing is that their portions are huge. Maybe I should have just gone for a regular cheeseburger instead…

This curiously located local’s bar, between Sodo and Georgetown(SODOGO?) offers frozen-in-time fuggliness that both repels and delights. Tube TVs and tube tops still survive here. The karaōke is humorous and you could just as likely meet a steel worker named Ike as a tranny named Nikkyalle’. The pool table is easy, because its not quite level, so just shoot the balls and eventually they will end up in the bottom left corner. The food, I didn’t try, but from what I saw it scores 9.3 on the Crisco scale. What I like most about Goldies is it looks like a strip club and once an hour you can see a guy or two arrive and then catch the wonderful moment of disappointment on their face when they realize the only person stripping is the thrice divorced 62 year old lady name Helena with a hacking cough, but it will cost you three Blue Hawaii’s a, couple of smokes, and a ride to your place after she stops to feed her roomate’s cat.(or so I’m told)

I actually really dig this place. The bartenders remind me of the bars I used to go to down South in Mobile and Wilmington, where you know, you don’t have to get served attitude with your budweiser. The food is pretty good(I’ve only had the mushroom burger, delish!), and they have darts and pool. I’m sold!

I love this place so much I had my wedding reception here! The manager, Caesar C. and the reception coordinator and bartender, Shirley J. and the head chef, Maria are the greatest! The whole event ran smooth and the food was awesome! For our main entrée, we had ordered their raving Lasagna and their popular slow roasted, melt in your mouth Beef Brisket with BBQ sauce, brown gravy and sandwich buns on the side. There were Caesar salad, garlic bread and wonderful fruit platter. Maria did an excellent job in preparing the delicious entrees and setting up the buffet. Caesar and Shirley had recommended Moki Music, Jim Hallman for DJ. He was recommended because«he’s always on time, very reliable and a great guy». That’s no joke! Moki Music is also the KJ for Goldie’s on Airport Way from Wednesday through Friday nights. We were glad to hire Moki Music — see my review. Jim and his wife, Tina made sure the scheduled time went smoothly. They did a fabulous job! We had the whole restaurant and bar to celebrate our special day. There is also a small reception room next door. This place is perfect to have any type of celebration! If you have kids attending, there are pinball machine, dart boards, electronic games and pool table to keep them occupied. This was a perfect place for our family and friends to enjoy our special day and I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to celebrate. This is the place! A MUST! =)

This place is hopping with a fabulously diverse crowd on Saturday nights(I haven’t been any other night) and its a great atmosphere. I have been continuously impressed at how well both the staff and patrons have generally relaxed and friendly attitudes. The bartenders are affable and extremely attentive. Its gotten pretty busy and rightfully so the service lagged a little. I think the décor is probably my favorite part. Two words: Red Vinyl. The karaōke hosts vary but the interest in singing by bar goers does not. Everyone cheers everyone on so its a great place to start whether you’re just starting out or a veritable songbird. I’ll definitely be back.

On a Saturday night it’s like being transported into the heart of the Philippines, only you’re in the secluded spot under the freeway just north of Georgetown. If you like karaōke, a decent beer selection, pull tabs, and Filipinos(yours truly) by all means make the trip. I wouldn’t call this place a karaōke«destination» a la Bush Gardens, Rickshaw, or Ozzie’s.

I had a pretty good time here. The food was cheap but completely uninspired and mostly beige in color. Their beers on tap list was the shortest I have seen anyplace in this area code. The special: ½ rack of ribs and fries for $ 5. PBR for $ 2. eek. So where did the good time come from in this substandard bar? Pinball — No Good Go’fers in pretty good shape. Note: People will walk up and play your credits if you leave for a nanosecond… that’s the kind of clientele you have here. and Guitar Hero — Tuesday nights they have some sort of competition, and it was amusing to watch(esp Quani C kicking ass).

It’s where you can typically find me every other Friday night(Thank you PAYDAY!!) Goldies is just your regular old sports/dive/karaōke bar. They offer poker, sports nights, karaōke, darts, pool, a decent menu and awesome service — make sure to tip Kelly and April well! From offering up new drinks to getting to know the customers — or just up on stage belting out some of the latest songs — you’re sure to have a good time. Check it out!

I like freaking out my friends who may not generally enjoy a dive bar — I get to enjoy the charming surroundings while watching them react with horror. Goldie’s on airport way may have changed all of this — I joined them in their reaction of horror, and understood how mean I have been all this time to take great joy in others horrification. The karaōke was fun, and I don’t mind a good dive bar, but if I wanted to hang out at a bar in Marysville(with all the trappings) I would at least make the trip up there and say hi to my Grandmother.

Karaōke times are Wednesday Thursday and Friday from 9pm until the wee hour of 2am. Unilocalers *did* descend and terrorize with bellowing, screeching, and alcoholic exuberance. They *had* no chance to survive make your time. Specials, events, and other bonus features available on venue website. Drinks are strong and they completely screwed up our drink orders in our favor! Apparently when the trifecta of Ninjas arrive, free drinks are to be had as no one remembers which Ninja to charge. Strange but seems effective! +1 star for free booze.
