Christo’s On Alki

I’m updating my review, based on my 2^nd visit to Christos.
We went their on Memorial weekend for Brunch. It wasn’t very crowded. We got a great window seat with gorgeous views of the Alki beach. Service was prompt. They refilled our coffee couple of times.
The owner’s of Christos came and introduced themselves. We had good time.

Great food, great service and great people. Family owned and ever since moving to Alki with the roommates this has been our spot. Rooftop in the summer has the views
Suggestions: Yanni’s sub, Petro pizza (any pizza really), Greek sampler and of course the bloody mary made from scratch.

Wonderful, family-​owned business. Great food, and they have a perfect deck with amazing water views. We love the pizzas, Greek sampler platter, and more. And we especially love supporting a West Seattle family’s business! Highly recommended for a casual night out — we had my wife’s 39^th birthday there most recently, and everyone had a fun time together on the deck.

Came in for lazy Saturday brunch and we weren’t disappointed. The wait staff were all extremely friendly and the food was great — I would say this is the best breakfast spot on Alki beach. The only downside is that the staff seemed a little overwhelmed. Both service and food were a little slow, but overall a very good experience! We will be back.

Absolutely great pasta. One of my favorite Italian restaurants. The waitstaff were friendly and so was the owner. The atmosphere was nice too. I’ll be back.

Extremely disappointed with the service. The food sounded delicious but I wouldn’t know because I never got to try it. On Thursday evening my spouse and I stopped by for dinner. We were promptly seated but never got an opportunity to order. It took our waitress over 10 minutes to even greet us, when she finally did we were ready to order but she said she could only take our drink order and would be back to take our food order. 10 minutes later she finally shows up with our drinks and STILL wouldn’t take our food order. She drops off the drinks and said she would be back. Another 10 minutes later and she still hadn’t returned. Upset hungry and frustrated we left money for our drinks and left. We waited over half hour and never had the opportunity to place our order. And the place didn’t even look that busy. Unless management only staffed her as the only waitress. Never coming back.

Well great job all the way around… the food last night was excellent and so was our service. For our app we had the crab dip which I will be coming back for again and again it was AMAZING me and my friend basically licked the dish clean. For entrees we had the clam strips and the scallops. The clam strips were fried to perfection and larger than most. Actually larger than ive ever seen but they were so good. I was not a hige fan of the scallops but thats just my oppinion they were really soft and I am not used to it, the sauce was great and I took them home and reheated them for lunch today and they were good. I just was unsure if they were cooked properly but I am sure they were because I did not get sick from the few that I did eat at the restaurant. Our server was very knowledgable and said she had been with the company for a long time. I will be back again! Thank you for the great experience.

OMG go here for brunch! Food is so so so good!!! I usually get the eggs Benedict but I’ve tried almost everything else and I’ve never been disappointed! View is fabulous too! You absolutely won’t regret it!!!

This restaurant is one of my go to places every week here at Alki. Love that I can walk to here in a couple of minutes also. The food and drinks are always delicious. My favorites are the greek sampler, gyro, pita bread trio, build your own pasta, any salad, cod and chips, calzone (which are huge!) to name a few. What can I say, you can’t go wrong with any of their menu items. They are good homemade/​quality meals that are not overly priced. The servers and family who run/​own the place are great also!

Great food, great family owned restaurant that truly cares about all there guests. I love getting the Petros pizza along with mommas greek salad. Always fresh pizza dough and fresh ingredients. Can’t beat the awesome view from anywhere in the restaurant. In the summer I always love to sit on there 2^nd level seating as it has the best view of the water! They even have an awesome brunch on the weekends. Don’t miss out on this great place!

Love this place! Best place to have Brunch on Alki. Staff is sweet and attentive and fun to be around! Will definatley be back!

Just experienced the poorest service ever. Both waitresses that served our tables gave us attitude and was very condescending in there tone. Pretty F*d up. Due to the cruddy attitude and sh*t service, we ended up leaving and skipped ordering our food

Always delish food and fun place to dine with a great view. Highly recommended! Eggs Benny is my go to but they also have great pizza, pasta and cheesecake!

Best burger on the beach! This place has amazing food, awesome service and stiff cocktails. There’s no other place I’d rather watch a Seahawks game on a Sunday morning. The bartenders and servers are SO friendly and welcoming, and the cute owners (mama & papa) are adorable. If you’re in the West Seattle area, don’t miss out on this Alki gem

Best breakfast ever!!! Not overpriced, great service, and you feel like part of the family. Pizza is also great! Try the Petros special or the Santorini omelette. Great view as well!

This little restaurant on Alki is so small I’ve probably driven past it a million times and never even noticed it — but thank god we did!
We went there for our homecoming dinner and were so pleasantly surprised. The waiter was kind and had excellent recommendations and the portions were a little bigger than average but the food was extremely filling.
I ordered the cheese tortellini with basil and garlic sauce topped with meatballs — the meal came with garlic bread and a side of salad w/​your choice of ranch. Everything was delicious but the meatballs in particular were absolutely to die for!
Definitely coming back with my friends for round two!

I think I was expecting actual Greek food whereas the majority of the menu was an ensemble of Italian, American, and then a small corner of Greek food being basically gyros. I went with pasta instead and it wasn’t anything I couldn’t have made at home quite frankly. The salad they give you beforehand was literally just iceberg, canned black olives and cheese that they probably use on their pizzas. I’m sorry, I wouldn’t return; at least the service was good.

The «Cheers» of restaurants! Christo’s is family run, and it has that feel. It’s that warm and fuzzy neighborhood joint down the street Staff is friendly, and yes, even caring. Refreshing to find a place that cares about you more than your dollars.
I was in town for a volleyball tournament at Alki Beach, so a group of headed to Christos for some pizza. At first, I was a bit put off by the price (as I recall $ 27 for a large), but when it arrived, I quickly forgot all about my cost concerns; the pizza crust was light and flaky, the cheese was perfectly melted into a uniform layer. I was in a relatively large group of six, and it was all I could do not to devour the entire thing and alienate my grubmates.
The next day a friend of mine wanted to head there again after a long active day, and I selected the Basil Pesto Cheese Tortellini. Every once in a while you have total synergy within a meal, where you order the perfect meal for the perfect occasion, this was it! The basil pesto sauce was rich and hearty, the tortellini soft and tasty. And despite their generous portions and side salad, were there leftovers? Nope, it all went home in my belly. One of the most memorable meals I’ve had in a while.
Postscript: as it turns out, I was so absorbed in my meal that I forgot my monopod at the restaurant. Staff was nice enough to box and wrap it up securely and ship it back to me. Love Christo’s! You can bet I’ll be back!

Great service. A bit cold out on the roof top patio seating though. (BYOB bring your own blanket) But otherwise, lovely people.
For some reason, the pizza crust just blew me out of the water. I really liked how crisp and puffy it was. Or maybe this was just normal pizza and I’ve had bad pizza my whole life. Who knows.
Other than that, the pita trio was delicious. All the dips were savory masterpieces.
Definitely a must try!
