The food is decent and you choose if you want to eat inside or outside :) the cashier man was a little rude and the place looks dirty but the kitchen seems clean maybe because it’s an older place…

A great lunch location that serves up delicious, authentic Mediterranean food. You receive a generous amount for a cheap price, and it arrives quickly. The falafel plate certainly hit the spot.

Love the gyros. Toasted pita makes it fantastic. Great stop before a mariners game. Get them to go and eat at the game…

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. It takes time to for a person who has not eaten this kind of food to try to decide what they will be getting. My friend and I were deciding for a couple of minutes and then a cook or the cashier(he was an elderly man) yelled at us telling us to «order something or get out» while he said«fuck you» goodbye. I was very excited to try the chicken and rice, but who would want to eat at a hostile environment?

Here’s my thing, we love the place, really great food. BUT my coworker and I would enjoy it if they had consistent hours. We have gone there at 8, 9, 10 and later but each time we have been refused of the medi mix. It’s pretty frustrating when wanting our favorite pioneer square food. Mediterranean Mix GETITTOGETHER.

Love this place… Quick, filling and reasonably priced. The actual restaurant matches the run down theme of pioneer square but the food makes up for it. Don’t expect great service or even a functioning fountain machine but they have chairs, awesome gyros and are open for the late drinkers. Love this place for cheap eats before a game or after a night of bar hopping in pioneer square!

The Gyros were delicious and portion sizes were good. I enjoyed the fresh ingredients that were used and the fries were tasty as well.

I stumbled across this place while searching for a dinner this evening. It was delicious. It was cheap. The staff were friendly enough. If you want something inexpensive and yummy, get on this.

I don’t care what all the bad reviews say, it’s not fair to give this place 1 – 2 stars because of «horrible» service when the food is absolutely delicious!!! It’s not a sit down restaurant so what can you expect?! It’s a ghetto hole in the wall place great for late night eats. I understand it gets super packed after 2am, but what do you expect when you have to deal with drunk people… They are very quick(which can come off rude I guess) but they just want to get the order out as soon as possible. Anyways, the chicken & rice was ze BOMBBBBBB. & the gyro sandwich was delicious! Cheap and good period! Don’t expect excellent«service» from here. If that’s what you want, go to a sit down restaurant where you should expect and get good service. One of the best Mediterranean joints in Downtown Seattle and it’s open LATE! Just try it for yourself, no complaints here for me whatsoever. I’m a happy customer :)

They’re open super late! Awesome place to eat after clubbing! I’d take Seattle dog over this, but if it’s cold outside they have a place to sit!

i’ve only had 2 dishes here, but have ordered them many many times… Their«gyro plate» & «chicken & rice» are where it’s at!!! Can’t beat $ 7 per item! They’re also open late, which is great after being out… We’ve dined in and also ordered delivery through postmates. The meat is so well seasoned and tender! Don’t judge based on store appearance…

The owner is rude as hell, but don’t let that discourage you when you’re stumbling the streets of pioneer square and in dire need of sustenance. Came here with a few buddies after a long night of clubbing, I’ve got to say — it was delicious. They have a solid selection of items. They even have pizza; there’s also always a hot dog cart out front. The flavored are bomb, price is right, portion is solid. Just know what you want before you stand up at the cashier getting the stink-eye.

The mixed reviews almost made me not try this place out, but I’m very glad that I did. The food is exceptional, easily better than you’d expect for the time of night or price range. Simply put, for good food of most any kind this time of night you can usually expect to pay at least double what Med Mix charges. I have a good appetite, but for an $ 8 entrée and $ 3 dessert I ended up with too much food for one sitting, and it really is quite good. The only complaint I could see any validity to here is that there is either a language barrier or a heavy accent that was giving me a little difficulty, but for any authentic hole in the wall affordable kind of ethnic food this should be expected. I work grave shift, so I’m always happy to find good food that is actually open during the hours when I’m awake, and I’ll be returning here in the future I’m sure.

I am a HUGE fan of this place. I can order the closest thing to NYCHALALCART. They’re open until late at night and it’s a great place to go after the bars. The service is friendly and they treat me like I’m family(minus the free food). Order their chicken and rice. You won’t regret it! They will give you all the works, just ask for it! Definitely coming back!

Good overall — Mediterranean Mix serves decent food at a(relatively) competitive prices, though I did find the service to be somewhat lacking. I ordered the kofta kebab pita, which was tasty and not overly salty or greasy which was to my liking. At $ 7.00, the sandwich was competitively priced for the area — actually, a couple bucks cheaper than offerings at other nearby places, now that I think of it. My only major gripe with the place is the poor service experience I received. The woman who was working the cash register was very curt and abrupt(to the point of coming across as rude, though I’m sure this wasn’t her intention) and working far too quickly to get through the lunch rush. As a result, my order got lost in the shuffle and I had to wait around for 15 minutes before mustering up the courage to ask about its whereabouts. The same woman who had fielded my order acted like she had never seen me before and placed a new order without any apology or explanation. After another 5 minute wait, I fortunately received the my meal this time, but being under a time crunch, I was planning on leaving if it had taken much longer. I also thought the interior could have used to be a little cleaner, though this is pretty standard for a «hole in the wall» gyro place like this, so I can’t really judge them for this. To reiterate, Mediterranean Mix serves good-enough Mediterranean/Greek food, though I would not consider returning due to the poor service experience. I’d still probably recommend to others, as this could have simply been a fluke occurrence.

Gyro was pretty tasty until a homeless ladie asked for money at the outside table. When I told her no politely she decided to sit down with my wife infant son and I. I forgot all about half the food i ate until I left. but definitely remember the lady.

This place definitely tastes better at 1am then they do at 1pm! I guess everything tastes better drunk. We came in before a sounders game because we only had 30 minutes to spare and ordered the chicken and rice and a slice of pepperoni. The pizza is not good! Over greasy, straight out the can sauce and just there because it’s easy and low cost to makei bet. We also decided to try the chicken and rice. My son remembered this dish from the street vendors in NY and was hoping for something like that. Generous portion of rice with a good amount of chicken covered in tzaziki sauce i think. It was only ok at best. I’ve come for the gyros before and those are pretty awesome(at 1am). Probably stick to this place late night

Late night munchies for days! This was the place to go during college and post college days for after hour munchies. This is the place you come when you want all that alcohol soaked up in some greasy and tasty food. It’s fast, it’s casual. It’s tasty! I have never been here during the day time or without drinking. So can’t tell you how those times are like. But come 2 am, this place had it all. Huge lines– check Good tasty food — check Artery clogging fries — check The most random and strange crowds at times– check! I’ve also never been here with less than 10 girls/people. Perhaps my experiences would have had been different if I came with less people. But we had many heart to heart talks over those fries, lamb plates and randomness all over. I’ve also had random strangers buying me fries, food without asking. Thanks for the fries strangers but no, you can’t sit with us! Definitely had good times here. My friends love it. I did too. It’s been a while since I venture out to pioneer square but I’ll come back when I’m in the area again.

I’ve been here a few times now, mostly for late night eats. The wraps(meat, hummus, pita) are always cold, as if they came out of the fridge instead of being made on the spot. If you get anything on a plate(falafel’s, gyro etc.) it’ll be piping hot and worth the wait. Just my experience, I’m sure it’s fine otherwise. Service is what it is, it’s late night food, don’t expect much. Ambiance is a bit grimey but charming.
