Pretty good fast food gyros. Neighborhood is sketchy so be aware of your surroundings.

Cheap seattle eats. A full meal and drink for less than $ 10. They run out of lamb/beef gyro by the end of the night, so try to come earlier! We came here around closing hours, and they only had chicken left. I have been meaning to try it, so we took our chance on chicken! It was juicy and flavorful. Pita is soft and warm, has the lettuce and onion. I didn’t get much taziki sauce on mine, but it was refreshing! Fries are standard crinkle cut. I love that they add freshly grated feta and parsley to it! It compliments the gyro! Service was quick, food was fresh, and shop is smaller than most restaurants so to go is the best method. I missed out on the complimentary lentil soup. I’ll have to remember next time!

Amazing food. If anyone is looking for true flavor, stop by this little shop. Easy, welcoming, friendly place, and on top of all; Quick service. Once again, the food was outstanding. Not dry or over saturated, perfect for a quick meal or game day snack. It’s something original and unexpected compared to the usual food varieties in Seattle. Run by the place on your lunch break and grab a ‘to go’, you won’t regret it! Highly recommend the Arabic chicken. All the flavors of the chicken, stuffing and sauces made it a highly addictive food, not overwhelming in seasoning or contents.

First time trying this place. It is a small, run-down place near century field. I had the lamb and beef gyro for $ 7. Flavor was very unique for a gyro, unlike any other gyro I’ve had. It was a little to oily for my taste but otherwise not bad for $ 7.

This is a little Gyro shop that brings great taste and value. The staff are super friendly and the guy who runs the place makes you feel great. If you are in the area you should stop by, and the soup is AWESOME!

Wow! That is the first word that came to mind after I took my first bite into the falafel wrap and right at that point I realized this was another occasion where Unilocal let me down. This was a weekday lunch outing when we were close to the King St station. I can’t think of anything being positive besides the friendly face at the cash register. I would not recommend.

I had the chicken shawarma yesterday. It cost $ 6.99 and I have to say, it was pretty bland. All I could think about while eating it was two things, it should cost half the price it is and I hope I don’t get stomach issues later. The lady working behind the counter was nice but I couldn’t even finish the shawarma so will probably never being going back.

The food here is the best I had during my trip to Seattle. HOWEVER — you’ve got to know going in that the street is kind of sketchy with lots of homeless folks around on account of a Shelter nearby. And the building is an absolute hole in the wall. But the food beat anything I had at Pike’s Market. So the hole-in-the-wall, in the bad part of town, gets my vote.

If you don’t know what you want, just get one of their special combos. It’s a great value and you can serve yourself a cup of soup which is free with any order. Their fries come with cheese crumbs.

I went there once, not sure if I’ll go back. Atmosphere: The place is sort of like a dive or hole in the wall. That isn’t bad, just letting you know the atmosphere expectation. It’s pretty small and not a ton of room. It seems to get a lot of business during lunch time. I was lucky that there wasn’t too much of a line when I first got there, however, that soon changed after me. Service: The woman who took my order was friendly enough, the problem that I had is the server was not making the food in order. It seemed to be driven by whoever was the loudest and saying, «I ordered this» that was made first. If I had known this, I would have been more aggressive after giving my order. Food: The food… so I’m all about the food… if the service isn’t great… and on some level the atmosphere(minus cleanliness) and IF the food is PHENOMENAL then I can forgive a lot of things… the food was… ok. I ordered the Main St. Special, which consisted of a Gyro(I chose chicken), Greek fries, and 16 oz drink for $ 8.99. That’s a good price, right? And don’t get me wrong, it is. The flavor of the chicken was rather bland… and the greek fries were just ok. I’ve had greek fries at other places that were yummy, garlicky, and had the right amount of feta on it. I will say, I found it convenient that they had a self service section for your garlic sauce and hot sauce. The garlic sauce was pretty tasty. Overall: If I was starving… I would eat there… if I could hold out, I’d probably go elsewhere to satisfy my craving.

I had a very disappointing visit here last night. I came here around 6 pm and I was the only customer for the most of the time I spent there. I had cravings for gyros and french fries, but opted for chicken gyros thinking that this would save me some calories. The girl working there took my order and mumbled something that I didn’t understand until I look at their Unilocal page today. There was a free lentil soup for dine in customers. I noticed the big pot next to the soda machine, but I thought that you have to pay extra for it. The only thing I understood from her mumble is that soda is included in the combo I was getting as she set the soda cup in front of me and turned around. The only diet soda that they have is diet coke, by the way. Four others are full sugar. Oh well, it’s all good as I have my fatty Mediterranean gyros coming, right? Not really. As I took a bite of my sandwich I was surprised that the meat was like braised or pulled chicken meat. It tasted like nothing I ever order in any«greek», «mediterranean» or similar restaurant. The meat had a Mexican spices flavoring! A little hint of cumin possibly. I came up to the girl working there and told her that this is not what I ordered, but she was firm that this is their chicken gyros. I really regret spending almost $ 10 on this mediocre meal! The french fries were OK; they didn’t hide the fact that these were just frozen crinkled fries. At least this was no big surprise and understandable, but Mexican chicken gyros is not. On a side note I have to add that a couple of months ago I was lost with my girlfriend and walked into this place asking for directions. The men working there was really nice and helpful and explained them well to us. I just mentioned it to do this place justice, but after my recent dining experience here it’s off my lunch and dinner list regardless.

I ordered the falafel plate with chopped tomatoes and cucumbers and didn’t get any vegetables in my order(I should have looked before taking it home). Customer service was poor, I stood at the counter for about five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. The rice was hard and stuck together in clumps and the falafel was extra hard as well. Definitely not recommended.

It was definitely a happy accident running into this place. I was in the area with a friend and we were searching for food. We wanted to go to the popular Salumi, but of course it was closed on a Saturday afternoon. We saw this place beforehand and figured it be a good place to stop for lunch if Salumi didn’t work out, and yes, it was good and we were pleased The place is small but it wasn’t crowded inside so we were able to sit at a high table. It is this cute little place on the corner of 2nd and Main. I had the lamb and beef(I think they called it Arabian.) Shawarma and it was really tasty! The meat was marinated nicely and paired with marinated onions. It was served with a side of extra tzatziki(i think) sauce and a side salad of cucumbers, carrots, chic peas, onions and olives. It was a fairly big portion so I was only able to eat half of it and saved the other half for later. The service was good and the lady behind the counter was really nice. They have small cups there for you if you want water. I’m definitely glad we accidently ran into this spot and would for sure eat here again, especially if I’m in the area and would like a quick and good meal, especially since we our food came out pretty fast.

So, a little story about today — It was getting on after 2:30, and I hadn’t put anything in my stomach all day, other than a cup of coffee and some water. All the other lunch trucks had long since packed it in for the day. And yet there was the Main St. Gyros truck, still open and parked right in front of my building, and smelling great. I caved. To be clear, Main St. Gyros is not my favorite gyro in Seattle. That honor goes to Mediterranean Mix near Pioneer Square, and sometimes trying a different gyro feels a little like cheating. But, Main St. is not bad, they’re fast, and as mentioned, their South Lake Union truck is fabulously close by every weekday. So I approached the truck and made my order — a gyro with greek fries(basic crinkle-cut fries with a sprinkling of herbs and feta), and a can of soda. Perfect for a growling stomach and a busy day. But lo! Tragedy! Their card machine was not working, and I had no cash on me! I was prepared to turn around, but he smiled and shook his head, handing me my gyro and fries all warm in their bag and fishing a can of Pepsi from the cooler. «Don’t worry about it,» he says. «I see you all the time, you can pay me tomorrow!» Tragedy averted! (But seriously — trust, in this day and age? Who does that?!) And so I carried my bag of warm food back upstairs and opened it up, mouth watering. And reader… I ate it all. And it was good. Still not the best… but the fries were crisp and flavorful and the gyro tasty and satisfying. Perhaps the meat lacks a certain consistency or the tzatziki sauce doesn’t have that zing I like… but it still hit the spot, let me tell you. I’ll be back… and not just because I owe them for today’s lunch! Because they’re fast, they’re close, they’re friendly… and sometimes, I just need a gyro!

The boyz are back in town! Closed due to a building fire, I am glad to say they are back open and man they are still just as good as before! The place is nice and clean and the guys will work fast to get your order up and ready. Great selection, decent pricing and it’s always nice to go somewhere where they know your order. While they don’t have up a sign they do take VISA/MC.
