Design Coffee

Not bad. They have various kinds of Tully’s coffee and snacks, including personal-​sized packages of Cup Noodle, Easy Mac, and Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal (although strangely no milk for sale… the barista did give me some though). They only accept cash which is a pain, but as long as you know that going in it’s nbd, I guess. It’s convenient if you’re in the Psych building (GTH), cause it’s right next door!

Design Coffee Shop is on the University of Washington Campus at the bottom of Gould Hall (located on the corner of 15^th NE & 40^th). They serve Tully’s coffee and have a selection of pastries, vitamin water, sandwiches, etc. There is a sister location on the second floor of the Architecture building across the street.
The Gould Hall location has a bunch of tables spread throughout the airy atrium of Gould Hall. The whole ceiling is composed of windows, so there is always a nice diffuse light filtering down into the coffee shop. It’s a pleasant place to work (outlets in the floors around the tables) and hold meetings.
I wasn’t a fan of the cupcakes they carry… and they only except cash or check.
