My husband bought me a spa package for Ediez and I’ve used about ½ of it so far and have loved every minute of it! Edie is SO friggin awesome! I’ve referred 2 people to her so far, one went the other day and had a great experience as well & the other one is anxiously awaiting her appointment.

This place is awesome!

I have to echo the experience of Marissa H. I bought a Mamapedia voucher for «salon services», and booked an appointment weeks ago for a facial. I called 45 minutes before my appointment to confirm it, and the woman who answered looked at the appoinment book and confirmed it. When I arrived the aesthetician wasn’t there. I waited until after my appointment time had passed and then asked the only person working there to call to see if she was on her way. That’s when I learned that the people who work there are not employees but merely rent space from the owner. She didn’t even know how to reach the aesthetician. She did call the owner, who proceeded to tell me that the appointment had been made in error and someone should have called me to re-​book (they didn’t). Even if someone had left me a message, shouldn’t the fact that it was still on the books mean that someone should follow up BEFORE my appointment time? The owner wanted me to re-​book, but I’m not spending another hour commuting back and forth and wasting money on gas. Clearly this place is a disorganized mess. I was also told that the people who rent space are resentful of those of us who buy vouchers, as they don’t make any money on them. This woman is trying to build her business, but is creating bad will for herself instead.

I haven’t been into Ediez salon as I’m from Portland, but I have been a client of Megan Kimes for over 2 years now and have not been disappointed. She has a trained sense of what cut looks best on you and what works with your hair type. She is also proficient with coloring and has kept my all-​over blonde highlights bright and natural looking over the years. She’s modern but classy and is always a joy to chit-​chat with. I’m already missing her and very likely will drive up for my next cut & color!

Edie has been my hairstylist since I was blonde in the 90’s. (I am not blonde anymore) I love my new haircut and awesome color. She has a GORGEOUS new place on CA Ave in West Seattle.
