Nrg Salon and Spa

Nita at NRG is a West Seattle community jewel. I have gone to her for several years. She knows how to manage my curly locks. I took my daughter in today before a photo session in a few days to straighten a bang trim I did. Nita did a trim for my daughter and had the patience for my little guy to have his turn too. It’s not exactly a kids salon, but she really does contribute a lot to the community by welcoming all and making a mama’s life a little easier. Thank you Nita! It means so much

my first experience wasn’t great im not going to lie. i came in for a coloring with giselle and a cut with nita. i opted for ombré and giselle decided to do something called bollioge (i know i didn’t spell it right). needless to say it was not good. turned out super light and patches of my hair was way lighter than others and we aren’t talking about the ends, it was middle sections of my hair that were way lighter. i should have said something at the salon while i was there but after nita cut my hair she didn’t blow dry/​style because i normally don’t do that. my hair was wet and i couldn’t really tell the color looked off. i got home noticed it and made the call. giselle got me in on tuesday (original apt was on sat.) and she gave me a darker toner which darkened everything and now my hair looks pretty awesome. i’m glad they take care of their clients to ensure everyone is happy with their look. although it did end up costing a lot, it was worth it. giselle didn’t actually charge me for the second visit either which was really nice. can’t wait to come back.
ps. nita’s cut was great. she offered to give me touch ups in the future a month of so down the line.

My mom and I have been going to Nita since she was working at Salon 08. We loved her there and we still love her at the new salon! Not only does she cut and color our hair so well, but she really likes to make my mom and I feel like family. She wants to do what is best for my mom and I and is a great motivator. Every time I walk out of the salon I feel better about myself and leave with great hair, a smile and confidence!
Also since going to NRG Salon we met Lisa. She does the waxing and skin treatment. Lisa really knows her stuff when it comes to skin care. She gives great advice about taking care of your skin and offers wonderful products that really work. I have acne pads that she suggested I get and I go to bed with a very clean and healthy face every night.
Needless to say, I love this salon and all the ladies in it.
I would highly recommend this place!

Nita is simply amazing and her talents are unparalleled. I have followed Nita from her years as an intern and continue to count on her to do the impossible with my challenging hair.

Giselle is awesome! she’s styled me several times, always fun to see her and I wouldn’t trust anyone else in Seattle with my hair!

Nita is too awesome!!! I was first recommended to Nita at Salon 08 and I have now followed her to NRG. It is really hard to find a stylist that makes you happy every time and I am extremely happy to have found Nita. And I’m not going to let go… :)
She is professional, friendly, and super nice. She does a great job with my hair throughout the years, long, short, or styling. Beyond that, she offers free bang trim whenever I need one.
I highly recommend Nita to anyone who is looking for an excellent hair stylist. She will take great care of you and your hair!

Giselle is nothing short of amazing… The service at this little salon is top notch, they use and sell excellent products and Giselle and Nita are experts. Being able to make or change an appointment via their on line scheduler is fantastic, and you always get an email confirmation. Love this salon!

I have been going to Nita for years and followed her from one salon to NRG. Nita is professional, and had a good eye for what my face shape needs. She has stopped me from a couple of hair mistakes; thank goodness. Nita really respects that I am Wash-‘n-Go kinda gal, which is crucial for a stylist to understand your lifestyle.
Recently, I noticed three of my West Seattle friends hair started looking really rich and vibrant and it turns out all 3 of them were going to Nita!!! Even if NRG wasn’t near, it would be worth a commute to see Nita. AND.AND.AND the prices are so reasonable.
I am looking for to the facials at NRG. I hear they have really helped one of my friends skin.

My bangs… what can I say? I have had an issue with them FOREVER! I tried to articulate what they were or weren’t doing to not one, but 4 people, and still I just can’t like them. I am just a girl who likes pretty hair and I am a girl that pays for the professional to do them and understand them; Well folks, Nita understands them and my hair in general… it curls, swirls, breaks and goes straight. Before touching a blade to my hair she was able to speak about my hair in a way that I was never able communicate except in my head and that, clearly, wasn’t getting me anywhere without bobbypins to pull back the bangs! The best hair cut ever along with an amazing girl that is great to talk with AND I didn’t have to give my first born! Do yourself a favor and visit her, you will be pleased!

I love Nita, I have been having my hair done by her for several years now. When I lived in LA for 2 years I even waited until I came home for a visit for my haircuts. She listens to your needs and gives her honest opinion as to whether she thinks what you want will work for your hair type. In the past I have had hairdressers who will do whatever you ask without giving any sort of input as to how your hair will work for what you want, so it’s nice to get that input.
Nrg is a cute, warm little spa. It’s clean and feels inviting. I love that it’s small and not all uppity. It’s the perfect place to get pampered! :)

Great new Salon & Spa in West Seattle. These women are amazing and the services and products (organic!!) offered are the best. Looking forward to even more pampering and wonderful results from the women at Nrg. Giselle uses organic color and the result is fantastic! Love. It.

I’m visiting friends in Seattle and Jenn said I had to check the place out because I would love it. Sadly, I don’t know if I love it, because I couldn’t get in. What spa has all the lights on, sign showing open, but with locked doors? Nobody came when we knocked. Is it unreasonable to expect a day spa to be open at noon on a saturday? Place looks cute, I hope they get more organized soon!!!
