Tried calling to get an appointment with Sarah and the salon was sold and she is no longer there…

I have unruly curly hair, and I was on the epic journey from one stylist to the next. I found myself only getting my hair styled and glossed(super good for curly hair) twice a year b/c it cost so friggin much. Then I found Sarah who not only gives me the best styling I’ve ever had, but is reasonably priced enough that I can get my hair cut regularly like a normal person. Plus, I am a westie, so the location is awesome. Thanks Sarah!

You have to go see Sarah! I have been to her twice now. Blonde foils for the first time and a great cut! The second time, I went back to have her dye my hair dark… and she helped me choose a well suited rich chocolate color that I love! She only accepts checks and cash, and if you get the voicemail, just leave a message… she calls right back! Very worth it! Plus she is a super fun chick to chat with while you get your hair done!

I have tried to go here twice during their posted business hours and both times not open. How can you walk in if they are never open?

Sarah gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. I’ve got curly, thick hair, but I wanted a shaggy, messy look. Sarah pulled it off – even giving me amazing layers that take some of the weight out of my hair. Bottom line: Her curly cuts are better than the ones from a Deva-trained stylist(which I’ve tried!). Super affordable too. **She accepts only cash or check, so come prepared.**

I am a guy with curly hair that grows in every direction. Most of the barbers I went to made me look like I got a bowl cut. Then I finally found Sarah! Sarah is fantastic at cutting curly hair. I searched and searched for someone who could cut my hair and make it look great. I tried several of the recommendations on naturallycurly .com and found Sarah Stanton years ago and never needed anyone else. She is fantastic at styling my hair so that it looks good when it is first cut and weeks later when it grows out. I have had long and short styles over the years and she has always made my mop look great(eat your heart out Patrick Dempsy). I highly recommend her to anyone with curly hair!

Sarah has been cutting my hair for 9 years; she is amazingly skilled. I am a very loyal customer – I’ve never met a better hair stylist. She has cut my thick, wavy hair in a huge array of hairstyles over the years – ranging from very short to very long, making it manageable, not frizzy, and always flattering. I can’t tell you how many people have asked me who does my hair. Sometimes I’ll walk in with something specific in mind, and she totally creates it, and other times I’ll ask her just to do something cool – and I’ve always been happy with the results. Her prices are ridiculously reasonable, she’s got a terrific personality, and she’s quick – a testament to her talent. Los Angeles’ loss is Seattle’s gain.

For those of us who are follicly challenged one way or another — maybe we’re a bit thin in places, maybe our cowlicks are untamed — finding a hair stylist who consistently makes us look halfway decent is kind of like discovering the fountain of youth. Sarah Stanton is one of those people. I first discovered her over a decade ago, quite by accident, when my regular gal was sick and Sarah filled in. I then followed her from salon to salon across Los Angeles, eventually driving 30 miles each way when she opened her own shop in Venice Beach. Now she’s 1000 miles away, and I still make appointments whenever she flies in to LA. She’s easy-going, has awesome rates, and is super talented to boot. What more do you want in a haircut? Y’all in the Emerald City are lucky to have her!
