When my husband and I were deciding to purchase our first home, the home inspector found mold in our attic. This is a very scary thing to hear as a potential home buyer, we loved the home and were hoping it was something that could be fixed easily. We called Environix to come inspect the house before purchase and they found mold in the attic and water damage in the bathroom from a shower window being installed improperly. Additionally, they found asbestos in our popcorn ceilings. The inspector answered all my questions and gave us a plan to fix the issues. Their quote was more than reasonable and we felt confident to buy the house. After purchase, we hired Environix to complete the work and they did everything before we moved in. Highly recommend. Pros– Friendly staff, honest, stayed within budget, on-time, flexible, very knowledgeable.

I’ve used Environix twice and both times were outstanding. I purchased an older home that has some moisture issues and it seems every time I open a wall for a new project I come across another issue — Envrionix has been great about giving recommendations on remediation, helping me understand any risks, and of course… prevention of the problem in the future. Highly recommend…

I have no idea what was stated about«breaking a lease». What was stated was that I was concerned about my health and with the ventilation system within an old building that is not properly ventilated. Who would want to stay in a building when mold is growing which shows there is a ventilation problem? If a company claims to check ventilation to see if mold could potentially come back after remediation, then the customer should be able to find out EXACTLYWHERETHELEVELIS… TOWHEREITNEEDSTOBE. Basically, a customer should have been given a specific reading of where the ventilation LEVEL is? So, the excuses that were offered by the ‘owner’ can tell a person a lot about a company and their ethics and how they manipulate a situation for their own benefit. NO one wants to live in a building that breeds mold or that will continue to breed mold. So, the statement/response that he offered shows a lack of care for their customers concerns or the welfare of their health. Again, do not waste your money getting an inspection from Environix especially with people who make excuses for claims they do not fulfill or cannot even provide a service that they claim to do.

We own a home in Seattle and called Environix to come in and test the air quality throughout our house(and check ceiling for asbestos). Our main concerns were mold but we have some health issues in the family and wanted everything checked out. I talked to Kathy and she gave me a lot of information and some suggestions and very good at explaining what we would be getting for the cost. I received an email from her before the visit that was very helpful. The person doing the testing was Dan and he came exactly when he was suppose to. He spent over an hour checking out our house. He let me follow him every step of the way explaining every thing he saw and was looking at. I had endless questions and I felt that he was very patient with me. Dan explored every nook and cranny of the house, attic, basement and even went out on the roof to look at some peeling siding. The report that we received was very comprehensive. Dan called and explained everything gave recommendations and offered to help us with assessing HVAC contractors. I felt the information that we were given was complete and worth the cost. Honestly, I cannot say enough about Environix except for I wished we called them two years ago when we bought the house. If you are having any concerns or you feel like maybe your house is making you sick do yourself a favor and call them.
