Everspring Inn

This place has no redeeming qualities I can think of whatsoever. How come one can’t give zero stars on here?.. One star feels terribly generous.
If the new management represents themselves the way they have, I cringe (and become even more nauseated) to think of what the old management was like.
The biggest tragedy of this place to me is the face that is so damn expensive! On any given night you can go on Priceline or Hotwire and bid yourself into a perfectly respectable place that would at least be somewhat clean and for much cheaper!
Why do people subject themselves to this human rights violation of a company when there are so many obvious better choices for a lower price? It’s beyond me.
Theres a litany of horrors that you should be prepared to face once checked into this «establishment» but they include being treated like worse than a common criminal (granted there seem to be a lot around, but most are just poor), both as a guest but especially as a visitor. The place smells absolutely terrible, many rooms don’t have functioning smoke detectors, there is nary a complete and/​or unbroken fixture of any kind to be found on the premises, noisy traffic, chipped/​dangerous bathroom fixtures, wires dangling out of random walls, scary people lurking (employees and non employees), bedbugs, frayed smelly carpets.
The worst is the main manager Mr. Singh who treats customers and visitors with the utmost of contempt. Like he’s doing you a favor by letting you stay there (at those prices?! please.). The whole guests pay $ 20 is understandable if someone chronically houses a family of 8 in each room, but when its a significant other who is obviously not causing any problems then where is the extra guest causing an extra financial burden on the hotel?
Also they keep your ID when a visitor checks in. Something which is sketchy and has no legal impetus so I would watch my credit reports for a while and make sure they’re not using it form funny business.
In summary I could go on much longer but I’ve already rambled enough and I think you get the point. STAY AWAY!
