The installers did a fine job plus cleaned up the scene when they were done.
They went the extra mile on baseboard issue.
Would totally use them again.

I’m in the middle of a mid 80’s renovation and needed the entire house recarpeted (chocolate brown shag carpet — yuck!). Vogel’s was fairly priced and accommodated my schedule nicely. The thing that really makes Vogel’s stand apart is their installation crew. These guys totally rock! They were very careful around my newly painted walls and you cannot find where the carpet was stitched. Very pleased and highly recommend these guys.

Extremely helpful, patient, and really helped work with me to get my project done from beginning to end, even though I’m one of those homeowners who wants to interfere with everything.

Vogel Carpeting is excellent — good selection, anything you want and great service. Honest and trustworthy, we’re also happy to refer them to our clients. And that says a lot!

Was really excited to do business with them from the Unilocal reviews. The appraiser failed to show up for our appointment (he screwed up the day). After calling him, he ended up coming a couple hours late.
He measured, we picked out a carpet and then he never sent us the quote. I called a few days later, he said he was busy and had a few other quotes to finish and it would be a couple more days. I never heard from them again. Terrible customer service. They maybe great installers, but I will never know.
Their office staff/​estimators are so disorganized I would never even consider working with a company like this. I am not sure what has happened, but they are a mess.

Vogel’s carpet is great, and a very reasonable price. Truly professional, and helped give me advice that would make the installation cheaper. And I never felt like they were trying to up sell me.
I’d highly recommend this great, local, and honest business.

Craig is incredibly helpful and responsive! They stock the natural wool carpet I wanted, and he patiently provided several quotes for me as I tried out different flooring configurations. Scheduling was quick, and after the job was done (well), he was just as quick to respond when I had questions about flooring maintenance.

I went to Vogel’s for ideas on flooring for my downstairs landing and laundry room and the owner took a good half an hour to 45 minutes discussing options and pulling samples. Great customer service and the flooring we decided on was ready for pick up within two or three days of our payment. We are extremely satisfied customers. On a different project, when they weren’t able to get the exact carpet from a proprietary color from a big box store they worked with us to get a good quote for a similar color. Very prompt thorough service, I would use Vogel’s again for sure!

They took over a week to call us back with a quote from our estimate– and beware, they close at 5pm on weekdays! Doesn’t have hours on their website so didn’t realize they don’t work hours suitable for anyone who works and fought traffic for almost an hour to get there at 5:30. Nope– closed.

Very helpful but not pushy at all. Great selection of vinyl tile in particular and carpet. Love that they give you samples to take home.

I wanted to like these guys. I tried really hard. They’re local, got great «best of» reviews from the TV stations… what more could you want? I love supporting local businesses — I did so through the recession and I’ll keep doing it. But these guys broke my trust. I think their sudden popularity was their downfall: getting so overwhelmed with orders that they forgot about customer service.
I skip Home Depot, Great Floors, etc. because I’m one of those people who really like to feel like partners with the businesses I choose to support. My sense is that these guys want to be that way and until recently were, but now are under-​staffed and stretched too thin.
After offhandedly being shown some carpet samples in the showroom (I evidently interrupted the woman who ran the place, who was vacuuming and not really happy about it) I was left to fend for myself while she went off to meet with another couple who wandered in (I’m a single, female shopper… they were an affluent-​looking couple… do the math). I felt like I was a nuisance rather than a customer. At various times I heard from not one, not two, but three different staffers about my $ 1,800 order — asking questions, correcting quotes, Person B getting back to me because Person A was unavailable. It did not inspire my confidence.
They never called me to confirm the installers were even showing up — I had to call them, leave a message and hope to God they’d call me back because I’d taken the day off from work to get this done. The installers did show, but were several hours late on another (perhaps more important?) job. Once they arrived, they did a nice installation but other than a few grunts, I got nothing from them. I get it — you’re tired, it’s August and carpet installation is a hard and crappy job. But this is costing me an arm and a leg. Can someone at least pretend to care?
I never received a follow up call — «Hey, just checking in to see how you like your new carpet!» — just a bill, with the part about how I could pay the final installment highlighted in bright pink. Kinda said it all.

I found Vogel’s from a good olé fashioned internet search. According to the reviews, they offered the best selection, quality, and service. Can’t really argue with that! Not only was their selection huge, all the employees that I worked with (including the owner) was very helpful and did their best to ensure that the two bedrooms in our new house had the carpets replaced before we moved in. This was no easy feat since the turnaround time was quick — we picked out the carpet on a Monday, scheduled the measuring on a Thursday and had the carpets installed by Friday morning. By the time we came with the Uhaul truck on Friday morning, there was nary a sign of the hideous old carpet remaining. HALLELUJAH!
Working with Vogel’s was seamless and made our move-​in process so much easier. I would definitely use them again for any future flooring needs.

I purchased carpet from Vogel’s for the entire lower floor of my house back in 2010. I was in the process of remodeling, and was finishing up the majority of the floor. Brad came and measured, and the carpet arrived and was installed 10 days, exactly as promised. The remaining few rooms were finished over the next two years, and each time I had Vogel’s come back and install carpet in the newly finished rooms. I’ve had three different installation crew come, and each time the job done was fantastic. Not only did the carpet look great, but the crew took great care during the install… Not a scuff on any of the walls or baseboards. I would strongly recommend Vogel’s to anyone.

Vogel’s is a gem of a place. Tthey are super nice and always do exactly what they say they will. It’s a family owned business and their prices are quite competitive.
They installed new carpet throughout our home and did a great job and cleaned up nicely after. I had been to quite a few places but wanted to deal with a smaller shop and was so glad I did. They have been back to the house a couple times for other things and most recently to put new pads under area rugs.
I can’t recommend their place highly enough, their selection is great, they can offer expert advice, and their staff has been there long enough you can be sure you are being given the honest scoop.
Bravo, please support this fine example of a family run business that should thrive for all the right reasons. Do not judge the place by the outside of the place it is nothing to right home about, on the west side of Aurora with plenty of free parking and easy access.

We’ve bought from them twice now. At first it looks like a small hole-​in-​the-​wall business that prolly won’t have anything good. Yet they have a very large selection and a surprising range of quality/​prices. Sometimes the owner seems a little detached from the biz, but he has a great staff.

A great carpeting experience! The showroom is very complete with choices from pricepoint brands to high-​end choices in both synthetics and naturals/​wools. The owner helped us in a friendly, informative and direct manner. The brand displays all have show cards posted with price per square measure so the cost is all spelled out as you look at different choices. When the installers arrived, they were on time, in and out in 45 minutes. This was for a 17’x14’ room that was bare underlayment & had tack strips in place. We’ll use Vogel’s again.
