Well last time I had the Korean sandwich and it was great. Sadly this time the menu changed and the sandwiches just lacked authentic flavor. I tried the Thai chicken wrap. Sadly it just wasn’t Thai flavored. There was a huge was of unflavored spaghetti. And then shredded chicken. It might had some peanut sauce but the flavor was very light. My buddies who had the Jamaican were similarly(and also sadly) disappointed. Maybe it was an off day, but definitely gives me a little pause before trying again :-(

I’ve been meaning to try this truck for almost a year now because I read about their Tachos, they look GOOD but sadly they are not really available at the truck all time. Their restaurant serves them though. I ordered the Poutine and Porchetta sandwich with an egg expecting something epic. It was a little disappointing. The Poutine was not what I expected, even though the fries themselves were well done. The cheese wasn’t melted enough for my taste and there was very little gravy to speak of. The pork on top was good but more gravy would have made it better. As for the sandwich, I’m undecided. Each bite seemed like a mouth of full of smoke that was lacking on the savory. The pork itself was somewhat flavorless, I expected some crackle from the pork belly but found none. The sauce really seemed to overpower everything… although the egg toll coming through it was nice. This is not something I’ll try again even though the sandwich itself was beautiful. I will be back for try their tacos, they look great but I’ll get my Poutine fix at Skillet instead.

They were at the Georgetown carnival and, amazingly, didn’t have a line so took the chance to try something. Having grown up in San Francisco the home of amazing Mexican burritos Iv’e never been a fan of the put anything exotic in wrap trend. But I got the Korean BBQ pork burrito which I thought was overpriced at 10.00. That’s until it came out. That thing must have weighed two pounds and was the size of a small kitten. There was a fair amount of rice which is often used as a cheap filling but is flavored delicioiusly. The pork is smokey, sweet with a little zing.

Just had the Truffle Fries which were outstanding. Then also had the sprouts which were perfectly cooked and the sambal honey sauce was a great combo.

I will be back to try more menu items for sure. The Portions were huge so consider sharing with someone. the pork on the Cuban special was some of the juiciest and most flavorful I’ve had in a while. It is a messy sandwich so not something to eat at your desk for sure. Service was quick also.

The lunch choices near my office are fairly dismal, so when this food truck came along in the parking lot, I had to give them a shot. The menu had a small chalkboard list of options. Fairly standard for a food truck. My coworker and I each ordered the cuban sandwich, which gave us the option of a fried egg addition(something I never ever turn down). It was 11 dollars and came with a bag of chips. Not that you would need a side with the size of the sandwich, but those came in around 5 dollars or so. There was a small group around the truck, and I waited about five minutes or so to get my food. My friend summed it up perfectly after the meal: «I… don’t know what to say about that sandwich.» When I thought about it, I did not have anything to add either. Was it filling? Definitely. Was it flavorful? I guess. Somehow this sandwich had too many flavors and not enough all at the same time. The bread, the meat and the sauce all fell in the middle of the flavor bell curve. Maybe the only time I’ve been completely neutral about an item’s taste. I can say that I probably won’t order it again. For a food truck, I expect more unique flavors and a cheaper price point. There are better food trucks out there, although if you are in dire hunger and a cuban with egg is your choice, this could hit the spot. Actually just drive to Paseo in that case

With all the food truck choices that abound, trying this one was a pretty big mistake. I tried the food truck when it was in South Lake Union and it had one person in the truck to both take order and cook the food. This meant that every time a new customer would come he would stop cooking to take the order. This led to a very long wait for a not very busy food truck. I had the porchetta sandwich… an expensive porchetta sandwich. The sandwich was well-seasoned and had a great sauce, but the meat was so incredibly dry that it was inedible. It seemed like it had been left under a heat lamp from the day prior. The sandwich was so awfully dry that replacing the pork in this sandwich with beef jerky would have been an improvement. I also ordered the truffle oil fries… expensive truffle oil fries. I suppose they’re expensive because the word«truffle» is hidden away in the name, but there’s very little that’s special about truffle oil. The fries reek of truffle oil and do not taste very good. I highly recommend staying away from this food truck.

The truck swung by our work the other day for lunch and I was very undecided on what to get once I was set to order. I settled on the pulled pork tacos, I believe 2 were for $ 7 and also a Coke. They actually have 3 menus set up, I saw Filipino food, Mac & cheese with chorizo, wraps, burgers, truffle fries… it was so eclectic but it all sounded really good. I went with the tacos to try them out and see if I liked them at all. I figure if I did, I could order something different next time. OMG, those tacos were huge! Definitely worth the money and quite tasty. I recommend eating some of the contents first before attempting to pick up the tacos, they get messy! Everyone else was raving about their lunches and I also tried the truffle fries… amazing! I’d definitely grab lunch from this truck again if they’re around.

Last night we were at Populuxe brewery and evolution Revolution was the food truck there. What a great menu! As a vegetarian, there were many selections available. We had an early dinner so only tried the Truffel Fries which were amazing. A friend in our group tried the tacos which looked and tasted wonderful. The customer service was excellent. Although they took my name for the order, the person working in the truck actually brought the food to me. I hope that I will have another opportunity to try their food. Yum!

Choosing the Chicken Parm Wrap from the menu may have been my first mistake but I didn’t think that things could get screwed up too badly. The ingredients which I expected were pretty simple; a fried chicken breast cutlet, with melted parm cheese and lots of red sauce. What I got was a disappointment. The chicken was non-breaded dark meat with Parmesan cheese that wasn’t melted nor warm. The only sauce that it came with was from the penne pasta and that wasn’t much. The pasta didn’t taste fresh as it was probably prepared hours before. The arugula wasn’t bad. They need to go back to the drawing board on this one. At a cost of $ 9, it left me hungry for something better.

This place is insanely expensive. I’m a little put off by how expensive food trucks are becoming, but this place really takes the cake. There is very little selection and the $ 10 sandwich leaves no room to add fries that would cost another $ 5.50. The water is reasonable at $ 1, but San Pellegrino soda, sold anywhere as one of the cheaper sodas, is $ 3. The sandwich that should have tasted like something from a dream for the price was a heavy, uncreative pile of pulled pork that was a huge mess to eat. The menu is all over the place. There were items from every cuisine and none that I wanted to eat together. Each item was themed on a different continent. Big meh for this place.

There was no line up at this truck when I swung by at 11:15a behind the Amazon buildings in Lake Union area. Normally, no lines would worry me but I was early and I can’t resist an opportunity for braised pork so I ordered the porchetta sandwich. The sandwich had good seasoning and the pork was tender. I especially like the smoked paprika sauce. The sauce for the pork itself is a bit soupy which makes the sandwich not really edible as a clean finger food, but luckily, they provided a fork to keep the mess at a minimum. I wanted to also get the tots but the sandwich is pretty sizeable and had all the food groups I need — protein, carbs, veggies.

this review is for a catering gig they did for us for our wedding reception. THEFOODISSOGOOD! seriously, fantastic. i’d give them 5+ stars for food alone. interesting flavors, textures, and presentation. amazing sauces. the best food truck food i’ve ever had. also, they worked with us to find a creative and interesting custom menu that fit our party’s theme and accommodated a ridiculous combination of dietary restrictions and preferences(guests were combinations of gluten free, soy free, egg free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan, and omnivore). they clearly posted allergy info that helped our guests know what to eat. they showed up on time, set up appetizers, served entrees from the truck, and delighted our guests. i thought the price was really fair too and they were flexible with the fact that we didn’t have a confirmed guest total until close to the event. i took off one star because correspondence was a little tough. since this was for our reception, i was a little anxious and potentially needy(:)), but sometimes i had to follow up and clarify to make sure we were on the same page, that my email was received, etc. no problems at all day of though. and i would strongly advise anyone looking for a cool food truck for catering to use them in the future.

I visited this food truck for the first time during the food truck rodeo in Fremont. Let me preface by saying the event was PACKED! I got there when it opened and there were already huge lines at every food truck. I felt for the people working the event. So I waited in line to try some rabbit tacos and when I reached the window ordered my tacos and a bottle of water. They had run out of water. Sad but I should have brought my own anyway. So I asked for my money back. The girl who helped me snapped at me saying she already gave me extra cash because they had run out of ones. But I was still SHORTCHANGED a dollar! Now, I know a dollar is not much but she was SO rude, she rolled her eyes at me and gave me a snotty 14 year old girl attitude while short changing me. It was ridiculous. I understand the event may have been busier then they had planned but running out of one dollar bills in the first hour is poor planing. Short changing your customers because you ran out of change is insane! There are too many food trucks in Seattle for me to go back to a place that not only doesn’t appreciate my patronage but actually rips me off. The tacos were tasty tho. Edit: I gave an extra star because I don’t think an entire review should be based on one employee. All the other staff was clearly working hard. I really did like the food. Still stunned how poorly the staff member treated me.

How does this food truck only have one review? the food is great quality. they are at chucks hop shop in greenwood every Friday from 11−4pm. the thai chicken wrap is by far my favorite. there are some sandwhiches that are amazing looking and you can get an egg on top, I am a huge fan of putting a fried egg on anything. the service is fantastic, they will answer any questions you have and are delightful people. I highly recommend giving it a try, I eat there every Friday at chucks!

With so many food trucks on the road, it’s becoming more and more difficult to track them. I was aware that Evolution Revolution has been rolling for a bit but wasn’t able to catch them until tonight at Hilliard’s. Honestly, I’ve been dreaming of the oxtail pierogies, which was not on their menu tonight. My friend and I ordered rabbit tacos and truffle asiago fries. The truffle asiago fries($ 5.50) were fantastic! Fried to a perfect, golden crisp and tossed with truffle oil and topped with asiago cheese and a bit of fried kale(nice touch). The rabbit tacos(2 for $ 7) were quite good. The rabbit was served with goat cheese, tomato and arugula with black bean relish and sour cream. The flavor combination was impressive. The black bean relish had a bit of corn in it that added a little sweetness to the flavor. The rabbit was cooked perfectly. Social media presence is pretty good and I feel like it is informative about the truck’s schedule and menu. I like that they take the time to explain what their name means on the website. I know that seems like a fairly obvious thing but other trucks, believe it or not, are unable to explain it, even after multiple, lengthy conversations. Further, I think Evolution Revolution’s name makes sense, which is another problem with some other food trucks. So, good job with marketing and web presence. Without going into specifics, I think the customer service could use a bit more attention. All in all, I’m impressed with the unique menu and even more impressed by the execution of the food. I’ve been to other trucks with amazing menus and ingredients that have been unable to produce anything but mediocre food. Evolution Revolution does a fantastic job with both!
