This store is officially the jam. They have gorgeous fabrics, lots of Amy Butler and modern stuff. I love the giant windows(holla, natural light!) and it’s very charmingly arranged. I’d love to take a class sometime, sounds like fun! I’m so glad Wallingford Center finally attracted a gem like this one!

I took a quilt finishing class at Fabric Crush. Ahava was the instructor, and I really enjoyed the class. It was a tad rushed, but it sounds like they are thinking about making the class more than 2 days, which I think is a great idea. The fabrics you’ll find at Fabric Crush are high quality and beautiful. They aren’t your standard bland patterns found at some of the big box stores. I had a ton of fun shopping for my next quilt project and will continue to go there when I want to be inspired!

Fabric crush is a new addition to the Magnolia Village. Having been a magnolia resident my whole life, 24 years, I have seen many stores come and go. Magnolia is an interesting area and not always welcoming to new members of the community. That said, I truly hope Fabric Crush is here to stay. The store is light, bright and very welcoming. Sure it’s small but it has room to grow. There are an array of fabrics, patterns and ideas at Fabric crush and everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, I have just started taking the Beginning Sewing class that is offered at Fabric Crush. It was so easy to get started. I went in got signed up, picked my pattern(choice of p.j. pants or purse), and bought my fabric and materials. The class was super fun and informative. I HIGHLY recommend these classes(they also offer beginning quilting) to anyone interested in learning the basics of sewing and quilting. They meet once a week for two hours for three weeks. Stop by even if you don’t sew or quilt. The fabrics are beautiful and so are the ladies!
