I love coming to these artsy, knick knack, potentially raunchy kind of stores. There’s always a little bit of everything for everyone!

My young daughter and I like coming in this store. We both always leave with a smile on our face or a cute nicknack in our pocket. I’ve had uncomfortable experiences with the staff before, though nothing major. Usually the only complaint I would have is if I had a question and the employee didn’t have any interest in assisting me. Last night I experienced a bigger issue. I saw a mug that was at a young child’s eye level that said the F– word. My daughter looked right at it and became embarrassed. I took the mug to a woman behind the counter and told her I thought it was inappropriate. On the way out of the store I looked at the merchandise with a more critical eye and saw several more items that clearly said the F– word. Half the people in the store at any given time are kids! In my opinion it’s a matter of discernment, of respect and decorum. It was offensive enough to make me not want to ever shop there again. The woman I spoke to looked uncomfortable. As I was leaving she a small group of people were laughing. I hope it was uncomfortable laughter, not blowing off the perspective of a concerned parent laughter.

Unique, cool, and local. Three things that begins to express this fantastic shop. I actually had the pleasure of working for them in 2009. I like to say they were a great influence on me for my own gallery. BIGFAN

Great store if you like crowded rows of over-priced tacky gifts, unreasonable return policies, and poor customer service. Never again.

Alright, this place is awesome. They have just about everything you wanted but don’t really need. It is a great place to find gifts for people. You could spend a long time in here just looking at everything. They have trinkets, baby items, both cute and funny. Just everything. Really. Their cards are hilarious. Can’t speak too much for the customer service. I didn’t make a purchase this trip but I also was not greeted.

Ok, I’m obsessed! Don’t even walk through the door if you don’t have time to spare, because you could seriously spend forever exploring all the goodness found inside! I will never buy a gift somewhere else, and shopping here is almost like a gift to yourself because it’s so fun! Such a creative miscellaneous shops with something for everyone! Just go already!

Lots of neat gift items with OK pricing in university village. Definitely a place to visit even if you are not buying.

This place has so many cool nick nacks I could spend hours in here. If you get a chance it is worth stopping.

I like the fun items in the store but the service is so bad it ruins it for me. Always a ton of employees standing around without even acknowledging the presence of people in the store. The one time I tried to make a purchase there was no one to be found, when I finally found someone she looked at me and walked away. Horrible.

I can always spend a good chunk of time in here; they’ve got products stuffed into every corner of the store and from top to bottom(literally). From toys to books, scarves to purses, and pop culture knick knacks, I love looking around and this is always a great spot to find some inspiration for a gift. Did I mention the awesome customer service? I always leave here with something cool and unique.

Other than gift cards, this is the ONLY place I did my Christmas shopping this year! They always have great and unique items and it’s in U-Village so lots of free parking. Check them out!

How can you not like this unique store. They have great gift options for everyone including yourself! I love all the fun child items(Seattle books). Great seasonal section. Clever books, and kitchen gadgets. You can find seriously everything you didn’t even know you needed/wanted! Staff is super nice. This place is always crowded when I come for some reason. Not sure if that is just me or always busy.

I love this store! It truly is a unique store that as many other reviewers have said you can spend hours in. I have 4 young children, 2 usually in the stroller and very polite 9&7 yr olds. They have known from a young age to not touch anything that looks like it could easily break. Whenever we come here the sales associates are more than pleasant– they don’t give my kids the stare down other store give them. My kids happily find unique items and have almost as much fun as I do. I can not leave the store without buying something as we unfortunately for have a Fireworks in kitsap county. Whenever it am in need of a gift this is the place to get it at :)

I’m a sucker for Fireworks stores. Whenever I find myself in need of a gift for a friend, a child, or even a secret santa gift exchange, I can always get something great here. Last time I was shopping I landed a really cute infinity scarf, some nail polish, a notebook and a cute toy for a child. Way to get all my shopping done at once!

I like Fireworks and this location just makes it more convenient for me to shop for birthday occasions and more. The problem for me is that I would often pick up an item and say, this is cute and then put it back down. I buy cards and small items here and there, but not all the time. Some items can be pretty overpriced. It has the most random but unique gift collection/idea, which is a plus. Fireworks can get really crowded since everything is placed so close to each other. When you have like 10 people in the store, you will feel like you cannot really walk from one end of the store to the other end.

This store is a great place to go for unique and fun gift items. I love looking! Looking is the key word however, since I almost never buy anything. For me, I love to go and look, but most of the time, that’s all I do. However, if you are in U Village, I highly recommend stopping in and looking at all the fun things!

This is a cool store to get unique items especially for gifts. They have cool magnets, frames, coasters, jewelry, lights and other stuff you don’t really need. I do like that it’s all unique. Unfortunately, its also very overpriced. I have never bought anything for myself here. I’d have to really love it, but this is the perfect place for gift shopping for a fun female friend etc!

What’s with all the 5 star reviews?! Seriously?! This store has some really cute items, but everything is so over-priced! Even the on-sale items at 50% off are still more than I would pay. Christmas ornaments for $ 6 in June… are you kidding me? I think this store is a great place to get ideas. But I would never actually purchase anything, I’d look online. Think of Fireworks as a girlie Urban Outfitters minus the clothes. over over over priced.

Favorite place to buy a gift. Or a card. Or a Christmas Ornament. Or huge Elton John sunglases. Or a Menorah. Or some weird band aids with bacon on them. Or a million other things you have that I love and want. And their staff is all really nice– a little spaced out like they’re also overstimulated by all that fun sparkly stuff-and I will come back anytime I’m near. I love it here.
