i’ve been coming to gossip for over a decade, wow that is a long time. the quality is still there and i love all the flavor and filling options. i usually get the rose milk tea with either lychee or coconut gel. the location is located in the heart of Chinatown and is a convenient place to stop by after a meal or for a quick break from the day. prices are a bit high and it appears they offer seasonal menu items to mix things up. this is one of the better bubble tea spots I’ve tried and can’t wait for my next visit.

I ordered hot matcha milk tea. Disappointed as the jasmine tea flavor was overwhelming. Husband ordered taro milk tea and it tasted like coffee mate. I’ll have to try the others in the area. On the bright side we enjoyed their gigantic cookies.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid, and Gossip will always be my go to for milk tea.

I’m so sad that I have to say this place is getting bad since the day they change their staffs. The taste become so bland, icy and they put so less toppings. I used to introduce all of my friends to come here for boba, at first they like it but now some also complained to me the same things. This use to be my favorite but not anymore. I hope one day when I come back they will improve their taste.

Um the brown sugar bubble tea is gross… And egg pudding is hard… I like the fact that their straws are wrapped, very sanitary.

One of my favorite bubble tea places. They always get it just right… perfection. Bubble tea smoothie shake, taro, with extra tapioca… my heaven right there! So full after dim sum, but worth coming here anyways hahaha. My family always orders a lot, in and out baby.

Back when I was a kid I went here all the time, but it had been forever since I’ve been in up until this past week. When I say«forever» I mean the last time I was in Gossip was the early 2000s when they allowed smoking upstairs. Not a ton has changed. Same basic layout though the furniture has been revamped and is more modern appearing. The menu still offers a ton of flavor choices as well as coffee and some snacks. The store is very clean and well kept. The drink itself wasn’t quite like how they used to be. Today was the first time I’ve ever had nasty clumps at the bottom because the powder wasn’t mixed well enough. I went back a second time a few days later and that experience was a lot better, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume the first time was a fluke. Best bubble tea in Seattle? Nope, but it’s pretty good.

Came here for the hello kitty hungry hunt but probably won’t be coming back again. The special hello kitty milk tea tastes horrible, I can’t believe we paid that much for something we threw away.

We had the Coconut Milk Tea with Passion Jelly and a Mango smoothie with Coconut Jelly. Both were good, however my daughter thought my mt had a little powdered milk flavor. They were both tasty but nothing outstanding. Just a refreshing pick me up after a long day. Love all the options you can choose from, if I’m in the area I’d stop in again.

Customer service was bad. The guy in blue was wearing his Street coat and the Taro Milk Tea was almost flavorless and bland.

I am much more a black coffee type of fellow myself and i dont typically drink these colorful beverages. As a novice boba drinker i have had great experience here and come on a bi weekly basis to plug in my laptop after eastern café closes. PROS: * they charge 50 cents extra for card purchases under 5 $(the drinks are under 5 $). * they require you to check in on FB to use their wifi. * reading their menu is like deciphering glyphs from a goddamm ufo crash site. *The music is playing at several decibels louder than what would be acceptable for intimate conversation. *The staff is friendly but has little tolerance for novice boba drinkers. CONS: none really, great boba tea would boba again boba today is not opposite day.

MERH. Perhaps coming from the Bay Area and being blessed with quality boba has made me feel really meh about this place. I mean, I commend the place for being decently priced, but I ordered a Jasmine Milk Green tea, and honestly it tasted like it was made with powder. There was just that powdered texture that I kept getting with every sip, and that is not one that is pleasant whatsoever. I’ll give it to them for having a creamy consistency, but in terms of texture, I wouldn’t come back.

Really good bubble tea here! I had the mango milk tea with boba, it was nice and creamy and cold. The boba was quite good and chewy. The portion is huge, it’ll take you ages to finish it. I would order from here again. It was pretty much empty when we came in, with next to no wait. I got my drink quickly. I don’t think it would be worth the 40 minute wait that some other reviewers are complaining about, so it would be prudent not to visit during peak hours.

Gossip is alright. I used to come here sometimes when I would hang out in Chinatown. I just felt like drinking some bubble tea after eating at Mike’s Noodle. I usually get taro milk tea with tapioca but this time I wanted the matcha milk tea with tapioca. The cashier was confused with my family because my brother only said«Same thing» after my dad asked him what he wanted(taro) and I wanted the matcha. He probably misunderstood and only got my dad’s drink… Not really sure what happened but I had to wait a little bit longer for my drink. I tasted some matcha in my drink but I think they added some jasmine tea in there also… It didn’t really taste too appealing to me, I only drank half of the cup. But it is still a fun place to hang out when you are in Chinatown and I believe they have free wifi so you could study there also while you are drinking your bubble tea. They also have some snacks there, haven’t really tried it though. I’ll only come here occasionally. Pretty reasonable price for a large drink.

This is all I can say… 40 minute wait for ONEFREAKINGCUPOFBOBA??? AREYOUSERIOUS??? How in the world can ONEFREAKINGCUPOFBOBA take that long? –Did they boil the boba to order? NO –Did they create fresh ice cubes for some odd reason? NO –Did they hand make their cups or something? NO –Did they brew some fresh tea to order? NO –Did they travel out and fly to some random cow farm to milk the cows in order to get the fresh milk portion for the tea? NO So…HOWDOESITTAKE40MINUTESTOMAKE1CUPOFBOBA??? UNTILTHEN! ^-^

Bubble tea, smoothies, Taiwanese snacks — cannot go wrong with anything here. Prices are reasonable especially considering the size. However, the taste isn’t all that great. Service is pretty friendly and fast so if you are going for a quick sugar buzz, Gossip is a good place to hit up.

Parking sucks, and we parked three blocks away from this place. So many drinks to choose from! We ended up trying their taro and green tea drinks with boba. It was powdery and the boba did not taste good. Waste of money. Serve only drinks, no snacks whatsoever. They do have a bathroom though. I guess it all depends on which drinks you get, but the ones we got were disgusting!

I’m a milk tea fan from SGV and I am not impressed by the milk tea drink that I ordered when I decided to try this place out. The drink was over sweet and the was neither a milkiness or tea taste to my drink. It was sugar water. I feel like this café might be a decent place to study/work/hangout though. I had minimal staff interaction too so there isn’t much to say about their customer service. I guess, for prices, it wouldn’t be too bad to try another drink from Gossip though.

The bubble tea are really good. Had the blueberry milk tea. I am sure is from powder but I have to say for $ 3.50, I have no complaints. This place is not as busy as oasis and I have to say because a couple times, I came by the was no one, I didn’t feel like walking in. But their rush comes and go and are not consistent. They have a second floor that has more seats. The décor is nice, clean and interesting. Would recommend people to come here.
