Good friendly staff and decent burgers. Small dining room but it works. 4 stars for the taste of the burgers over other fast food joints. Also the fried mushrooms are a must. I have yet to find a place that does these as good as kidd Valley.

I think you pretty much know what you’re getting here. You don’t really need my review, but I love you so I’m writing it anyway. The burgers are solid. The fries are decent. The staff is reasonably friendly(though they used to have a crew that genuinely made me love life, and I miss them. Where have they gone? Tell me, Kidd Valley, because you know who I’m talking about). If those extremely entertaining ladies returned, I would give this place five stars even if they took my money and kicked me out to the curb. As it is, it’s a relatively inexpensive spot you can buy a decent burger at without feeling the pressure to stay there with your miserable, loud, constantly-complaining family.

Whats up with this place. I used to crave Kidd V. back in the day. the big buns were always perfectly toasted, all the tastes mingled to create a great burger. For the last several times I’ve gone to this location it has been a total let down. About 6 months ago the place started to kick butt again, but that only lasted a while. Most of the time lately it was a lot like Dicks on a bad day Tonight i was in U. Village and got a craving for Kidd Valley, because I’ve loved the place for decades and old habits die hard. I entered and sure enough, one guy was cooking, and one woman was doing everything else looking confused and the little customer area packed with people who already ordered, waiting for their orders. I left to write this in the parking lot. I hate the idea of McDonalds, but at least they’re consistent. The quality of the food here has gone down. Are they underpaid? not trained properly? the burgers are thrown together carelessly without the love I used to sense. A new yellowish green sauce now takes the place of the perfect layer of relish, fresh lettuce(cut recently), quality condiments that used to adorn the perfectly grilled WIDE, yet thin, patty. now its a pathetic little thing a pile of goop, no toast flavor like days of old. Im NEVER coming back to this location. Oh, and tonight there was a brand new aspect: THEPLACESMELLEDGROSS. Like a mixture of grease, sweat, and the smell of a dying burger joint. This was the original location. How sad.

Heads up: this Kidd Valley has man-size and women-size fries, but you’ll pay the same price, ladies! Just go with your man-friend and find out what I’m talking about. The food is OK, otherwise.

Seriously, no bathroom?! Is that even legal?! Ridiculous. I brought my kids ordered food and then was told there are no bathrooms. Will never go back.

The fish was paper thin, the breading was thicker than the fish… My chicken sandwich was a mess of sauce, the lettuce was soggy so my sandwich fell apart. I ate half because I was hungry but I did not enjoy it… The fries had no salt so they tasted plain, and the shake was ok.

Kidd Valley will always have a special place in my heart, probably my clogged arteries. This location is small, so there is not much seating and it is mostly counter space, with a couple tables outside. Parking is pretty sketchy as well, got to watch out for those SUVs swinging in to the tiny lot. Regular burgers and bacon cheeseburgers are the best, always fresh and delicious with all the toppings. I also love their garlic fries, super garlicky and a nice big portion! The onion rings are delicious, they hit the spot when I am craving them. The shakes are excellent, especially that seasonal pumpkin one. Peanut butter shakes are also great if you need all your daily calories in one fell swoop. Don’t read the nutritional info! Just eat and enjoy(sparingly)!

How I heard of this place: I was at the Mariners vs Cubs game, smelled the garlic fries, and found it around the corner. Type of cuisine: Burgers, hot dogs and other traditional baseball fare, including fries and other sides. Ambiance: It’s a pick-up place — order your food, take it away on a compostable tray, help yourself to condiments and take it to your seat in the stadium. What I ordered: The garlic fries. What I loved: The garlic fries — fresh, tiny-diced garlic with herbs on salty, greasy fries. Why I loved it: It’s the perfect complement to a baseball game — and the other things one can order, from jumbo hot dogs to vegan dogs, chili, chowder in a bread bowl or shisha-berries. Cost: High($ 4 for serving of garlic fries; typical stadium prices)

Kidd Valley, you suck for closing the Queen Anne location.

If you are gluten free, there is no option for you other than just eating your burger with a knife and fork which can kind of ruin the experience. The sweet potato fries are good would probably be better if baked. The lack of indoor seating really makes this place more of a takeout place during the colder months but it is nice to sit in one of the outside picnic tables when it is warmer. I hope they jump on the bandwagon soon and start offering gluten free buns or larger pieces of lettuce to use as a wrap.

I really enjoy this burger joint. I have been here a couple of times with very good luck. They are a traditional style burger place with a walk up window. The menu is also traditional with burgers and sandwiches, fries and onions. I like the variety of sizes they have for their burgers. I’ll be back next trip probably…

I don’t get all the good reviews. I thought this would be a good fastfood burger place – something like Shake Shack or In n Out burger. Instead it just sells crappy, overpriced burgers. I would seriously rather eat at McDonald’s. Also, no bathrooms, which is lame. Won’t be going back!

Got a good bacon burger with cheese and a side of fried mushrooms. Everything was above par as far as a lunch received in less than ten minutes. Free tartars, I dipped everything in them, friendly service, limited seating, recommended if in the neighborhood.

Amazing, fully-loaded burgers. Kidd Valley isn’t McDonald’s, so expect to spend more, but in my book it’s worth it. I usually go for the standard cheeseburger and have never been disappointed. The fries(especially the garlic or sweet potatoes kind) are amazing, and the shakes round out the experience.

Had sweet potato fries which is always a plus and was open on labor day which is also a plus. I don’t know how a restaurant can be closed on labor day when there’s so much potential business but whatever. They fed me when I was hungry and so I’ll return. The burger patties though left a bit to be desired. They were decently sized, but dry and definitely of the older frozen, been sitting around variety. Meh, beggars can’t be choosers, I guess.

Best garlic fries I’ve ever had! Piping hot fries – on the soft side – mixed with TONS of sauteed(?) minced garlic with herbs. Most places(Safeco Field) gives you more raw garlic than cooked. This was cooked and tasty and generously mixed in with the fries. Burger was not bad either. At $ 4.05, a huge portion of buns, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, a nice juicy patty, and great tasting sauce. I would totally come back! Good value for the food(portions and taste)!

Fried mushrooms! And giant onion rings. Man, I love those things. They’re fabulous. I usually get a small hamburger(cheeseburger without the cheese, ya) and that’s enough for me, with fried mushrooms or fries. I don’t remember being impressed with their sweet potato fries, but their regular fries and the other fried sides are pretty good. Their milkshakes are also pretty good. As a fast food meal, it’s better than any other chain equivalent(like McDonald’s), and prices aren’t bad. We usually get it to go because this place is tiny, but they do have a couple of tables outside and a few stools inside, if you have to eat there.

Solid fast food joint. I have to admit that there are things I like at nearby McDonald’s, but also a ton of things on the menu that are terrible. Not at Kidd Valley. I like the mini-burgers, the fish sandwich, the fried mushrooms, shakes, and veggie burger. I go over here quite a lot just because it’s so convenient and reliable. My only complaints are that the fries aren’t very crisp and the ketchup is way too sweet. It’s good fast food — I’m not paying for perfection. There are a couple high counters facing the windows to eat-in. Maybe 7 seats? There are almost always seats open but I usually take out. I do also like the people working here. One man I see a lot(owner?) is just really friendly and smiles at you. I like when people smile at me.

I went over here to get lunch when I was waiting for some stuff at the Laundromat to be done washing. I thought being a small local shop it would be better quality then the other fast food joints in the area. Upon reading the menu I was rather shocked at the high prices. A burger was around $ 7 and did not come with any sides, which seemed super expensive for fast food. I pay $ 7-$ 10 for a burger(Vegetarian variety) at sit down places and get fries with it. So my partner got the veggie burger and I got the fish and chips. He said his burger was just meh, but my fish and chips were horrid. The fish was so chewy and tough which seemed so weird for fish. It was also not flavorful. I honestly could not finish it, which is so weird because I really like fish and chips. The garlic fries we got were really tasty, but they were also cold and soggy so it is hard to rave about them. Overall I found the restraint small, crowded, and the food lacking.

Best burgers in Seattle. I used to live here and went there regularly. Went back immediately on our trip here and it was better than I remembered. It’s a superb greasy spoon burger & fries. Comes out hot & fresh(their meat is never frozen) and tastes perfect with a hint of the charcoal taste from being grilled.
