One of the best… No! The BEST!!! Tex Mex Restaurants I have ever eaten at, across the country. As a world traveler and many times to Texas, if I could carbon copy this whole place including the owners. I would take them home. Can’t wait to come back to Seattle and this will be one of my first stops!!! Incredible!

Yum! We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Laredos this afternoon. The carnitas quesadilla and brisket chili were outstanding. Excellent sauces accompanied the quesadilla. The sippie drink with tequila and frozen margarita were delish. There is a large selection of tequilas at the bar. We also met the very friendly couple who own it. They did an excellent job with Laredos; it felt like we were at a restaurant in TX. Laredos is a gem… a must try when in Seattle.

So first let me start by saying that the food here has always been very good, that is not the reason for the two stars. The reason for the two stars is because I have had issues with their customer service. I made a to go order a few months ago and on their website it listed all of the menu items and prices. When I was told my total is was not the same as listed. I was told that it hadn’t been updated and not to go by what that said. How convenient? My second complaint is that I was given a card for $ 10 worth of food and drinks, with a clearly stated minimum purchase of $ 10. When i gave the waitress my card she then told me that it needed to be a minimum of $ 20 in order to use it? How does that make any sense? There is absolutely NO fine print that I may have missed, no other explanation of why this was the agreed upon price other than«that’s what my manager said». How ridiculous is that? If that was the case i would have no problem doing so, but that most certainly isn’t the case. I to work in customer service and you honor what you say unless there is written words saying otherwise. There needs to be some training on how to treat your paying guest. This is beyond frustrating and unacceptable. Good food, terrible service and poor hospitality. :(

Love coming here for an after-work happy hour, especially on Mondays(Margarita Monday = $ 5 margaritas all night!) They have classic margs, as well as some with a twist, like an avocado margarita, sangria wave(blended marg with sangria in it), etc. They aren’t super strong(obviously, they’re $ 5), but that just means I can have more :) The food is really good; happy hour has options for $ 4 or $ 6, so you get a pretty good deal. Service is always friendly.

I saw a couple of negative reviews because Laredo’s was not authentic Mexican food. I don’t think Laredo ever claimed to be authentic Mexican food. It claimed to be good food and it is. They put some effort into their drinks and I can highly recommend their scratch Margarita. They have interesting beers on tap as well. Chips and salsa on the house but during happy hour the Queso dip is only four dollars. It is delicious and abundant. Some or all of my family has been to Laredo’s on several occasions. More than enough time for something to be served subpar or with a surly attitude. Neither is the case. The food is delicious and the service cheerful.

«10STARS» just for their fish tacos alone! This place is another hidden little gem in the Queen Ann area with a vibe all its own. The happy hour prices can’t be beat and the service is great as well. Definitely recommend if wanting some awesome grub and delicious cocktails.

The second time we’ve been within 2 years, and it did not disappoint! We took a couple of newbies and they enjoyed it as well. There were«yummmzzz» all around from the chicken tacos, fish tacos, chicken fajitas, and the Al Pastor pork. Drinks were good, I had a Mojito. They could work on a few more beer selections. We made reservations prior to going on-line, since it was a busy Saturday nite, with no issue. Our return trip will definitely be sooner!

Super huge portions here — got the stuffed chile relleno and it was delicious. Super heavy meal and not more stars because the margarita was mostly sweet and sour mix. Otherwise decent place

Big prices, small portions. Ordered the Pollo Laredo and the chicken came over cooked and dry. Every time I ordered a drink, whoever made it continually cut the alcohol content in half. Each time. Waitress made eye contact when we needed service, then promptly moved on and eventually returned 20 minutes later. She also took my plate of food away without asking if I was done. I have worked in the service industry and go out of my way to be polite. If you are wondering if the afore mentioned anomalies have anything to do with my behavior as a customer, I can assure you they do not. Normally tip at least 20%, but the service I received was no where close to that. If I were you, I would take my business to better food and better venues. I gave two stars instead of one for cleanliness and interesting atmosphere.

Finally, I’ve found good Mexican food in Seattle! The enchiladas were delicious and filling, the chips and salsa were on point, and even the rice and beans were a hit. The only negative I could find was that the lightening was very dim, but in no way will that stop me from making a return trip for the best Mexican food I’ve had since moving here.

Ordered the Pink Margarita and Carne Asada enchiladas. The enchilada was amazing! So much flavor. Hands down best I’ve ever had. Need to come back and try more on the menu for sure! The restaurant was packed but no complaints with service and was seated right away. Pink margarita was also yummy!

My only complaint is that I couldn’t eat it all. Great brisket… super salsas… even loved the rice. Great service. They had a unique slaw-like salsa which is out of this world. Carne Asada is great too.

Whenever I have a craving for Mexican food, my go-to is to come here to Laredos Grill. Good thing they’re located within walking distance from where we live! I tend to stick to my usual favorites in terms of Mexican food, so I always order their Mariachi Burrito. The only thing I will change up is the meat I crave(steak or chicken). The burrito is MASSIVE and can stuff my stomach in 2 meals. No matter if I eat at the restaurant or take it to-go, the portion size doesn’t change(compared to other restaurants that seem to change up their portion size). They always provide plenty of guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream on the side of the burrito — something that is greatly appreciated and usually lacking in other Mexican restaurants. I usually do not order desserts, but when my fiancé and I dine in here, we usually order the Churros or the Sopapilla — BOTHDELICIOUS. However, I would not recommend ordering both — it’s too much for just two people! In fact, the last time we ordered both desserts, we were eating with 2 other people and we STILL couldn’t finish! If I had to choose one though, I would definitely order the Sopapilla. it’s a unique and delicious dessert. I LOVE how the pastry is served with ice cream — it always hits the spot! Whenever I dine in, the wait time is prompt. The restaurant is pretty crowded in the evenings, even on week days as well, so make sure you arrive here«early»(by 6pm) if you don’t want to wait in a line.

Sub-par tex mex. Nothing outstanding on the menu. The highlight was the chipolte table salsa. With so much good food in Seattle, the bar is set quite high — Laredos didn’t make the cut.

I go to Laredos often because it’s close to my place and has a good open restaurant/bar for a nice happy hour. Overall I say the food is average. I like the Flavors in the tacos(particularly the carne Asada and marinated well) but the tortilla is thicker than most and over powers the flavors on the inside. To me, a good taco is not just the filling, but also the authentic corn tortilla. A fave snack of mine are the panchos — individual tortilla chips each stacked with the perfect amount of nachos toppings. It’s great because each chip is perfect and you don’t feel as guilty as when you eat a whole mountain of nachos! I love tortilla chips and guacamole/salsa. These chips are good to munch on with a drink, typically served a little warm… Yum! Guacamole and salsa are decent. Great place to gather with a group of friends for a nice drink, happy hour and/or average Americanized Mexican food… I guess it’s called Tex mex(may explain the different tortillas!)

My office is right around the corner so we go here frequently and the staff definitely knows us(all very nice and get to know you)! Their food is ok, i really like the steak salad and the serving is big enough to have some leftovers if you so wish. They are not open on Monday’s. Also, every time we leave we have a distinct smell of barbecue, which is interesting and not sure how that comes about! We will continue to go there as it is easy and convenient but there are better Mexican locations in Seattle and Queen Ann.

This isn’t bad if you’re craving Tex Mex while in the Pacific Northwest, but don’t expect a proper flavor profile here. The restaurant is small, with decent parking, but expect to wait during peak times. Lots of street parking in the area, but you might have to walk a few blocks. Chips, salsa, and queso are all fine. The queso is a little boring in my opinion. I’ve had better, but it isn’t the worst. Asada torta was incredibly bland. The meat needed a lot more seasoning. It was cooked well, so at least it wasn’t tough and chewy, but definitely disappointing. Tacos al carbon were pretty good. I’d get them again — filling and fairly well made. Dessert was awesome. You have to, have to, HAVETO get the sopapillas. Deep fried perfection with super creamy, rich ice cream, and a giant portion size to share with at least four people and still have leftovers. Seriously, this was the best part of the meal. I would come here just for a drink and dessert… every day… forever. That being said, I’m not sure if I would come back for lunch or dinner. I would give this place another go, but don’t expect to be blown away, or at least come in with reasonable expectations.

Laredos is one of my go to favorite spots for brunch. It is a Mexican restaurant so the brunch is also Mexican themed but more breakfast style entrees. For the first few months I always had great service but our waitress no longer works here and now the waitresses I have been getting are not quite as good but this place is still worth going. The food is amazing and they have one of my favorite margaritas, the Pink Margarita!

I came here for the happy hour and really enjoyed hanging out with friends, drinks and a few of the $ 4 choices on the happy hour menu. They were really filling and I didn’t even need to look at the menu as the happy hour menu is top notch. If I lived close at hand around that part of town I can see hanging around for happy hour a couple times per week. They are located in lower Queen Anne and I bet the parking really sucks around here. But, if you want a beer or margarita and some good quaso with tacos, come try it out. I see Laredos as a great place to hang out for happy hour, meeting friends out and taking your date for Mexican food.

I love this place for a late happy hour. I just wish it was earlier. The pulled port torta on happy hour is delicious, I’ve tried one of their non happy hour tortas and this was better. Also try the tacos al pastor they’re very good. The service is usually very friendly but not always attentive. This would be a good spot to meet for drinks with an on-line date. Or to just meet up with friends. I’ve been here many times and I’ll be back.
