I just bought two blouses here for my niece and my daughter. I asked the sales clerk if I could get a shopping bag. She said they didn’t have any and yet strangely, as I sat in the mall outsIde The Loft, I watched a woman come out of the shop with a shopping bag. I guess I didn’t spend enough money there.

I’m a fan of the Loft! They have great clothes(I mostly buy stuff to wear for work), and I go in once every 6 weeks or so to check out the sale racks. They always have stuff on clearance, and you can find some pretty good bargains. The store is always neat and tidy, the sales associates are helpful, and the dressing rooms are clean with decent sized changing rooms.

To be honest, I though the Loft was for old people. Now I shop there. Does that mean I’m old? Actually, they do have some items that are pretty cute — although I don’t think the selection in the store is that great. I tend to like to shop online and only go in the store when I have to. It’s hard to find exactly what I’m looking for when I’m actually there — I mean — right item — wrong size — you get the idea.

Not my favorite location, but for some reason, I never have good luck at Northgate. That being said, Ann Taylor is my favorite store for work clothes and this location is huge with a great selection. I could easily spend hundreds here. While I have a difficult size to fit at most trendy stores, the clothes here just fit. I love how well made the clothes are and always get compliments from co-workers. I think it’s cute enough for 20 somethings while being conservative enough for older ages(of course, you can’t trust my judgement on style as I often rock the same styles as ladies I meet in their 70s or 80s. Win.) The staff here were not as friendly and polite as the downtown and Auburn locations. They acted like I was wasting their time. Not coming back here, if only because I pass at least 3 other locations on the way.

More than half of my closet is from loft so I definitely have a lot of love for this place. This store is good — located right next to nordstrom(woohoo!) and easily accessible. It is a pretty good size — definitely much easier to navigate than the downtown location which is nice but 2 floors of cramped messy spaces. This location has good service and is well organized. As far as their clothes go, this is a great place to get everyday clothes. From shirts to shorts to sun dresses to belts, it’s fantastic. I dont find it t be the best place to get dressier clothes, they are in my opinion not lofts speciality and aren’t at par with their more casual attire. I frequently find their«nice» shirts to be ill fitting, but all the casual stuff is perfect! So, I highly recommend this store, they have fantastic casual attire that looks great and the store itself is good as well.

This is one of my favorite stores for dressier clothes. The sale rack is usually full of great finds and they are always an additional 40% off the last marked price. They always let you combine sale offers and give a discount to students and teachers(I think it’s 15%). On top of all that, if you know the right days to shop you can save more and have more to choose from. The first Tuesday of the month you get an additional 10% off and their inventory is freshly stocked. I shop there so much that I recently opened a Loft card(which is something I NEVER do) because it allows you even more savings and you can use it and pay it off right then and there when you make your purchase. All around it’s a win-win.

I buy most of my clothes, especially pants, here. Love the fit. I wish Ann Taylor Loft would stop changing the sizes. I know that I wear a size 4 but I have to get the size 2. Why!!! It is insane to change the sizes. If I buy the size according to their web site’s chart I would have to buy a size 6 and nothing would fit because all the pants would be on the floor. I am one of the those shoppers who hate trying things on at the store because it is a waste of time. I look for the size, pay, and leave. Now I have to spend the time in the fitting room, worse when there is a line. At a women’s store there’s always a line for the fitting room. At least there are chairs for the guys waiting. I worked in lingerie so I know all about measurements. I wish everything were in measurements but they might have to go out of business. I don’t know if any women would shop here but people like myself.

They have some nice things. It is well-arranged. Sale stuff conveniently stuck way back inthe back.. that’s a transparent sales technique. The sweaters in the front on display are spring colors with low necks! It’s cold out. I am at the mall because the turtle necks I ordered from LL Bean this holiday are backed up in shipping or the post office and I need turtle necks! Not low neck tops. I will keep them in mind. No sales person said hello, or may I help you or anything.

I hate going to the mall, but I’m a long-legged short girl, so I absolutely have to try things on. Today I decided I deserved one silly new top, set myself a $ 35 limit, and ventured in. I knew where to go: Ann Taylor Loft. Ever since Petite Sophisticate closed, Ann Taylor Loft is one of the only reasons I’m not wandering about naked every day. Their petites are well-proportioned, their prices are fairly reasonable, and their sale section is awesome. The staff is helpful without being pushy: today they told me once about the«Spend $ 50-and-Get-a-$ 25-Fall-Coupon» deal, and when I came up with $ 30 of merchandise they didn’t press the issue. And what was that $ 30 worth of merchandise? Not one but TWO silly new tops. Thanks, Ann Taylor Loft! If you weren’t in the mall, you’d get 5 stars from me.
