Not a big fan of mall food court but was in a hurry. Got the basic chicken teriyaki. It was ok. The rice was over cooked, kinda mushy. The chicken was ok and not much veggies. Plus side was that they were quick, but that’s cause some of the stuff was already and just needed to be dished up

I used to go to Subway at the Mall but now! I can’t get enough of the Fried Rice Chicken Teriyaki! It’s like drugs it’s so good and addicting… The best food one can ever get for a reasonable price.

Do you want a sample? You want a chicken? Come on, you need my review like you actually need a sample of their chicken. You know what it tastes like. You know what you’re getting yourself into. It’s not that good. Are you busy? You need to eat quickly? Then you’re not reading this. I doubt you’re going to thoroughly research mall food, and read all of the reviews here… and if you are, god, who are you? I don’t want to know you. If you’re in the mall for a time-restricted lunch, then by all means. Otherwise, find a better place. You owe it to yourself. You owe it to me.

I usually buy chicken teriyaki or sushi #7 from them. Teriyaki is good, if u r not that hungry u can buy kids size without a veggies. Sushi #7 is a California roll and teriyaki roll, I think it’s their best one. Employees are friendly too.

If you’ve been in a mall food court, you’ve probably been enticed by the endless stream of teriyaki chicken samples being handed out by employees of these restaurants. Sure, it’s not the greatest meal you will ever have, but they are quick and good enough to do the job when you need something to eat after shopping away the day. I usually stick with the teriyaki chicken with rice and vegetables although, on occasion, I will go crazy and get the combination which includes shrimp as well.

Good teriyaki for the price… we live across the mall and it is our go to teriyaki place. Affordable and you get a lot. You can choose to add double meat and choose brown rice. They always give customers friendly service(at least from our experiences) :-)

Chicken teriyaki is tasty, and is served with stir fried veggies and rice or noodles and sells for less than $ 6.50 I have eaten there several times and have always enjoyed the meal, and often have enough left over for lunch the next day. I visited on Monday of this week, and although the chicken tasted as good as usual, their meat portion was considerably smaller than it has been in prior visits, but still worth the money. I would go back. 3 stars because their meat portion is so much smaller than it was last month.

With Sarku Japan, you have to keep in mind the fact that you’re dealing with food court standards. You can find food court variations of Japanese food here, and while it’s certainly nothing special, you’re at least not paying thirty bucks for dinner like you would at Blue Fin Sushi. As a matter of fact, they always have people eagerly giving out free samples of teriyaki, so I feel like I get a pretty good deal overall here. I guess this place is worth giving a try. Their sushi tends to be pretty good, although it’s prepackaged and comes in plastic containers. I can really gobble down on their chicken teriyaki; they have this deal where you buy one for $ 5.99 and get a second chicken teriyaki for $ 3.99. Each one already comes with plenty of chicken, rice, and salad. You can get full pretty easily without having to break the bank. The food quality isn’t amazing, but it’s appropriate given that it’s in a mall.

The chicken teriyaki is so flipping yummy. One order of chicken teriyaki with extra chicken is plenty of food for my beautiful girlfriend and me to share. If I’m in the northgate mall I always eat at sarku. The staff are really friendly and nice and always give free samples. So so good mmmmmmm

Alright when you need a quick sushi fix after a few hours of shopping. It’s a bit expensive so I usually don’t order much but I actually find their fish to be pretty good quality(remember, I’m a sushi snob).

People were friendly, food was small, simple and delicious. That’s how business should run. The thing that matters most when it comes to «A» restaurant is the respect for food. The more the kitchen is handled correctly, cleaned at most times, now let me ephasize most, most of the day cleaning the kitchen, keeping stocked with food, thats what drives in the customers. It’ll keep people coming back and referring their family and/or friends to come back to eat there :) Im a fan of this place, love Japanese food as well as other oriental foods. Overall, a great place to eat at. Reccomended. :)

This is mall teriyaki, plain and simple. These people giving it one stars expect first class food when the food is so cheap. Coming from the u district, the teriyaki here is juicier, less dry, and tastier. And cheaper by 2 bucks. And less rude service. I have no complaints. It’s not the best food, but it’s teriyaki and it’s literally one of the cheapest meals I can grab as a college student. The reason it’s 4 stars and not 5, is because at the end of the day, it’s just mall food.

We like the chicken teriyaki here, we really do. BUT, my dining experience always nosedives at this location when one of the young women behind the Sarku counter decides things are too slow and starts chanting and clapping to get the attention of potential customers. That’s exceptionally tedious to sit through while dining, and I wish mall management would get her to knock it off.

I like the veggie delight, cheap and healthy, however this location give you a half size portion where the lynnwood alderwood mall gives a full size box to go. Needless to say, I prefer the lynnwood location.

My go to for food in the Northgate Mall food court. I always get the chicken teriyaki double meat extra sauce w/fried rice and sriracha. You get a lot of food for for a food court place which i appreciate. The teriyaki is always juicy and never dry compared to Panda Express. Food is quick and to the point.

I love stopping by here for a yumm lunch when I go to the mall and am in need of a lot of food. The line is usually pretty long 98% of the time, but sometimes I can catch a short line if I’m lucky. I get the chicken teriyaki with steamed rice usually or the shrimp/chicken teriyaki plate for about $ 8 with a small drink. I love watching the chefs making all the food and they’re always friendly. The plates are really big and sometimes I can make 2 meals out of it. I always ask for the extra teriyaki sauce when they hand me my plate and then also use the sriracha sauce that is nearby, too. They’re a great fresh option if you’re visiting at the food court and service is usually pretty fast, too. Prices are fairly decent for the amount of food you’re given.

The food here is way too oily and overpriced… I came here for a quick bite to eat after my shopping at the mall. Skip this place and go to the Kona Kitchen near NGM(Northgate mall). You can get better food for the same price. This Sarku Japan is in the food court in the NGM. It’s very loud because theres a lot of people in the food court. There’s free wifi provided by the NGM.

I eat here almost 100% of the time that I eat at the mall food court. I get the chicken teriyaki with white rice. Its really good! They make it fresh on the spot which is awesome and it is always a filling portion even though it’s cheap. And it is relatively healthy compared to most other things in that food court(thanks for adding those calorie counts). The only downside is the amount of time it takes to get your food. If they are starting your chicken from scratch, which they frequently do, it takes a full 10 minutes to get your food. I appreciate the freshness though, but. It seems like during the height of the rush they could prepare better.

Aww, it’s kind of sad to see all these unhappy reviews when I love this place & their teriyaki… haha First off, I think people forget that they are getting Teriyaki from the mall. The quality isn’t gonna be top knotch just because of that! But anyways… taste wise, this teriyaki hits! I’ve tried the beef, chicken, spicy chicken, shrimp and all was bomb. I’ll give this place –1 star because it isn’t the BEST teriyaki, but it’s still really good for it being @ the mall, fast and convenient.

This is my second favorite place for Teryaki. I like being able to watch my food being prepared. The portions are enough for at LEAST two people better yet three. The employees are always nice and friendly as well and the prices are good. I have a pesky shellfish allergy and never had a problem here.
