Edit: my review below is still 100% accurate, but I have been back a couple of times and the service has been much better. As always, the food is delicious and the prices are good for how much food you get. This use to be one of my favorite, easy ‘I don’t want to cook tonight’, places but tonight may have sworn me off for good. The place was fairly empty when I ordered but I ended up waiting 35 minutes for my food while I watched the owner serve someone who came in AFTERME the same food I had ordered. She spent almost 20 minutes in some kind of business transaction with the woman she served ahead of me. When I asked how much longer she said it was ready, and then proceeded to take another 10 minutes to get my order ready. I wish I hadn’t payed first, because I would have left without my order. So moral of the story, pay after you get your food I do have to say, the food still tasted decent for the most part, but the egg rolls were burned while she was busy doing personal business instead of serving her customers

We go on a regular basis with our usual order: yakisoba, chicken teriyaki and beef ribs. Overall, these choices are good. The meat quality is good. But I’d skip the«sushi» and some of the other dishes. The people are nice — a real family running a family quick-service restaurant. Recommended when you want something quick that takes a little longer than fast food but tastes much better.

Another Hole in the Wall – basically kinda a dump – but the food is much better than the place looks – it’s the«secret sauce» –it’s everything that you could want and will keep you coming back – The Teriyaki Prawns are outstanding @ $ 9.95 or try the combo Chicken and Prawn @ $ 10.95 for double your pleasure or the Chicken, Beef and Pork @ $ 10.95 all with salad and what else– Rice – yummy yummy – cheers Al

So I’ve ordered a number of times, and it’s always quick and efficient. The food however, specifically the cheap lunch teriyaki, is just lacking. The portion size helps a bit, but the chicken is kind of dry and the sauce is a little sweet. Gyoza is a pleasant addition. Dont, I repeat DON’T get the sushi… just not any good! The dining area is kind of a let down, but I’ve never felt real great eating in teriyaki joints. Usually crummy chairs and sticky tables, and the same is true here. If you want 6 buck meh teriyaki, and you’re in the neighborhood, this spot is for you.

Cooks and workers are true Asian people with great semse of hospitality and give good size portion for food. I eat here once a week at least. Food is consistent. Meat is plenty. Free tea! We need to support more family own businesses. The vegetables are fresh and my Yakisoba isn’t drown in grease.

Good teriyaki but the lady on the cashier was not so Nice. Didn’t even smile and she seemed annoyed white waiting for us to decide on What to order.

The spicy chicken and broccoli was good, and lots of broccoli which i like. We also got the pork pot stickers which were good but I’ve had better. Would come back again if it was on the way to a destination, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop by.

Hours: Mon-Sat 11a-9p Unless I missed it, hours are not posted on Unilocal for this restaurant. I wasted a trip here only to find out that they are closed on Sunday.

Yum. Spicy chicken and broccoli is great and so is the lunch teriyaki special. The«small» is plenty big.

SUPERFAST! I ordered the lunch special with spicy chicken teriyaki(the spicy chicken is 25 cents extra and so worth it!), gyoza, rice, and salad — all for under $ 7! A really great value. It came out to me in less than five minutes, was hot, fresh, great quality, and delicious. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

My go to teriyaki place down the street. Decent price and food. I always get the katsu or chicken teriyaki. Not bad and good portions. The place could look a little better but no other complaints.

I’ve had a couple good lunches here so figured it was time to hook these guys up with a review… both times I had the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki and it’s been a great… here’s the skinny: *Chicken– Boneless, skinless, and gristle-free– this white/dark meat chicken is especially tasty *Spicy sauce: awesome, tangy, sweet and hot! *Rice: sticky/sweet variety… like you’d get at a Japanese restaurant… good…sub the brown rice for a healthier option. *Salad: iceberg mix with a vinegar/sugar dressing… could be better, but fresh and crunchy. All in all a good value option for lunch at only $ 7(incl tax)…go here instead of the Mickey D’s across the street!

I had the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki with Brown Rice and it was great! Even the little side salad(which I usually write off in places like this) was excellent! I’ll definitely be back.

I’m confused why this place has such low ratings. Clearly if you are at a dive teriyaki spot, you should order teriyaki. I love this place, and even after I moved out of the area, I continue to go. Nothing beats the price, quantity and the flavor their chicken has. I also haven’t been able to find another teriyaki place that cooks their gyoza the same way as Teriyaki Plus. If you like good teriyaki, check this place out.

Best terikaki lunch special. I always get spicy chicken teriyak and gyozai and its only like $ 7. What I think makes thsi place taste so good is the rice because I believe its cooked using propane and the homemade teriyaki sauce is hands down the best I’ve had so far. The all day special is pretty good also, its just doubled the meat for like an extra $ 2 all day.

I live pretty close to this place but only recently tried it out for the first time. I think the next time I’m starving… I’ll keep on driving. The menu is vast and all the pictures make the food look quite tasty… but really, it’s nothing special at all and for the most part, not that good. I had a spicy chicken and mushroom dish, that was pretty much all mushrooms and super bland. My hubby got a bento that had chicken terriyaki with unagi rolls — not that appetizing. There are a number of much better options in that area… and I’ll think I’ll stick to those next time.

I was craving spicy teriyaki so on my lunch break I was going to go to I Love Bento because I know their spicy teriyaki is good… I decided it was too far away from work to venture on my lunch hour. BIG mistake. Huge. It was absolutely disgusting. The spicy teriyaki had a decent flavor, very spicy… but I could NOT get passed the nasty fatty pieces! Ewww. That is the BIGGEST turn off for teriyaki. That is a total DEALBREAKER! I honestly couldnt even eat dinner that night because I was so disgusted with my lunch that I couldnt stomach eating. NEVER again my friends. NEVERAGAIN!
