Their fries always fucking suck at this location. And their prices are high here compared to other McDonald’s.

One star is generous for this place. If I could give zero stars, I would. This McDonald’s is a case-in-point example of why the company is failing — unfriendly and disinterested customer service, inconsistent quality, and overpriced, underwhelming product. You won’t find many of the nationally advertised McDonald’s deals at this location. And, if you do, you can bet they will be a $ 1 or more expensive. What you will find, however, is a price-inflated menu designed to fully take advantage of the captured audience of WS High School students coming from across the street. You’d think you were in downtown Seattle rather than suburban West Seattle based on the prices charged here. Even the so-called«value menu» has maxed out prices. As for service — well, don’t expect much. The folks working here seem to be too used to dealing with the antics of high school students so you’ll be treated the same. Be sure to check your order before you leave — getting an order right here is apparently pretty tough for some reason. And if they do mess up, don’t expect it to remedied quickly or to your satisfaction. Overall if you have to have McDonald’s, I urge you to head south to Morgan Junction or out of West Seattle entirely.

UGH! Come on McDonalds! This review is written though a high schooler’s eyes. I’ve come here quite a bit, because its right across the street from West Seattle High. The staff is sometimes friendly(depending on who you get). They really don’t seem to like high schoolers.(Even when were not acting rowdy or causing a scene) Once they kicked me out for sitting down with my friends to decide what to order. A employee came up to us and said«If you’re not gonna order get out», so promptly we left in disgust. Once we came in and we ordered the 20 piece chicken nuggets. When my friend bit into one, it was pink on the inside! Like really? We also got served stale fries during that visit. This particular McDonalds also doesn’t allow students to get water cups too. I understand that some students take the cups and fill them up with soda which I’m against. But sometimes were thirsty, and were short a dollar to buy a soda. I’d be more than happy to show you my cup once I’m done filling it up. But that’s not the reason why I’m fired up about it, they tell my friends and I that there are no water cups, but we see them behind the staff on the ice cream machine. We shrug it off and the next party of people walk in, BOOM they get water cups. They are also students too keep in mind. Also remember to count your change when you get it back, I gave this McDonalds a 20 dollar bill, and they tried to short change me for $ 5! I counted my change before I went to sit down(habit), and I was short $ 5. So I asked the cashier about it, and he called over a manager. The manager accused me of putting the $ 5 in my pocket, even though I counted my change in front of the cashier. He finally gave me my $ 5, and he went off. No apology or nothing. I feel like their prices are higher than any other McDonalds franchise, because whenever I go to the Westwood Village McDonalds, I order the same thing and the price is less there. I know the franchise gets to set the prices, but come on, $ 6 for a 20 piece chicken nuggets. No thanks, I’ll go to PCC next door.

This is the only McDonald’s I’ll go to in West Seattle. The food is always done right and the customer service is EXCELLENT. I would suggest not going to the other McDonald’s in West Seattle including Westwood Village. They give the olé’ Micky D’s a bad name.

This review is for the service. I went through the drive thru, and the cashier sang my order to me as she handed it out through the window. I think that’s the best you can get when it comes to a happy employee at a fast food chain. Also, the order was correct and the fries were freshly made.

Average McDonalds. In regards to the other reviews, the prices are bound to increase with time(and the whole increase in minimum wage thing). Lots of kids at this site but service, food, and cleanliness was average. So 3-stars.

This is a franchise location — with higher than normal company store prices. While the food is pretty much the same as you will find at other McDonalds — this location will also give you some attitude!(and not in the fun way) NOTE: This place can and does get inundated by school kids around lunch time, so beware!

This McDonald’s store charges more for most items than ones outside of West Seattle do. Why??? Is West Seattle an affluent neighborhood for the owner to charge a premium? If you’re hungry and want fast food, there are some good alternatives close by, including Marination on Alki and the Jack in the Box on Admiral Junction.

Horrible service. I will never go to this establishment ever again. Ten minutes before closing, in the drive-thru, they turned us away while other customers were being served in front of us. Signs and building was lighted clearly stating that they were still open.

Ray Kroc is a Fast food God. Greatest thing about McDonalds is it tastes the same worldwide… As for this location it’s a small location, clean and friendly help. Food is what it is but that new buffalo sauce for the nuggets is my new vice!
