Worst veggie soft taco ever today at 1:30. 3 others in car had cold crisp bean burritos. We were in a hurry across town otherwise I would have taken everything back. It was bad.

I arrived tonight at 7:30 and the drive through line was through the Peking lot so I opted to go in. I went up to the counter and stood there for about a minute before anyone came out to the cash register. Finally, a shorter woman came out and pinched some buttons into the register and after about 30 – 40 seconds with no greeting or anything I just went ahead and gave her my order. At this point she looked up and told me I had to go to the next register. I walked over there but a family cut me off and stood there trying to decide what to order. As I was waiting a taller guy came out and went to the register I was first at and then nodded to the people BEHIND me to take their order. At that point I just left and went to the Western avenue Taco Time. I find both the clientele and the people working at the West Seattle Taco Time to be lacking in common curtsey and basic customer service skills. There are plenty of people looking for work. My advice to the owner is to hire people who actually want to work.

Second time to this Taco Time drive-up window and second time half my order missing, make sure you check your order before you leave. Second my fault for not looking in the bag!

They have the friendliest staff. Every time. I always go through the drive through, which has the usual kind of wait. Food is relatively healthy for fast food, and veggie friendly. And again, cannot say enough about how nice they all are at the window.

6 months ago I’d give 5 stars. In the recent month service is slow and tables are dirty inside.

I can’t get enough of the crispy beef burritos. Ate them growing up in the Northwest then moved to the Bay Area where to my dismay, I found that they had no locations. So when I moved back to Seattle recently, particularly in West Seattle, I was happy to once again indulge my taste buds with those crispy beef burritos. The Taco Time on 35th in West Seattle is by far my favorite Taco Time. I’ve been to the one in Whitecenter which is just as close to my house as the one on 35th but the reason I prefer the one in West Seattle is the service. Kenny was extremely friendly behind the register and when I ordered a medium drink, he reminded me that there were free refills. Thanks Kenny! He also reminded me that sides of sour cream are also free. Besides Kenny look in’ out for my best interests, he and the other gentleman that brought my order out provided exceptional service. I don’t mean the kind of textbook robot like kind of service, I mean they were down to earth, genuine good people that you could easy have conversation with. Other previous visits have been just as good and from what I’ve observed, there are usually a few patrons that seem to enjoy this Taco Time just as much as I do. The quality of food is what you would expect from Taco Time but the service here is what sets them apart from the others. Time for another crispy beef burrito!

Working within walking distance, I frequent here more than I probably should. Service is normally consistent with a fast food joint. Food is alright, nothing to write home about. Prices are decent. I have had one young gentleman take my order a few weeks ago who nearly blew my socks off. Customer service thru the roof, made eye contact, even wished me a good afternoon as I walked past him in the parking lot. Kudos to him. Unfortunately this review isn’t based around that trip. Today I went during a bit of a lunch rush. When it was my turn to order, I made the mistake of ordering tater tots, and the gal at the register acted as if I insulted her grandmother and spat ‘they are mexi fries!’ My most heartfelt apology. Thru the rest of the transaction, she made a rude teeth sucking noise, as if she was irritated. After snatching my card from my hand, it was slammed down on the counter with my receipt. I’m an observer so as I sat waiting for my ‘mexi fries’ I watched her interact with the line behind me. Equally as rude. Teeth sucking, card slamming, general annoyance by everyone around her. Hopefully she doesn’t work ghe counter during my next visits, if I even return. And if she does, I will certainly be asking for somebody else. And on that note, TGIF!

The slowest drive through window in all the world! I could have eaten out at a restaurant with the freaking 45 minute wait and over priced menu. Yes, I am writing this review while I wait!!! Incompetent workers and management is non existent. Do yourself a favor, skip this place.

This Taco Time is the BEST one I’ve ever been to. All of the customer service crew is super nice and well mannered, professional, etc… So whoever is the manager here is doing a fantastic job too. The food is always double checked and thus far I’ve never had a problem with the food or the service. EXCELLENTJOB

I love Taco Time and this location does not fall short of my expectations. The staff service was excellent and the food was at perfect temperature. There were however some mistakes with my order(wrong salad dressing) but I was so hungry and excited for the food that I was fine pushing that worry aside! I would definitely come back here!

We drive thru taco time 5 times a week and every once in a while, something’s missing from our order. Nevertheless, the staff are always nice and accommodating.

Whelp, looks like I’m gonna write a Unilocal review for a fast food restaurant. Why? Well, the wife and I have made an executive decision and good ol’ West Seattle Taco Time is our go-to«don’t wanna make dinner but wanna eat at home and watch netflix» spot, which means we’re there with some regularity. The food is legit business. But duh, right? Everything is fresh and sooooo not greasy at all. Heck, we even run the risk of being«those guys» in the drive thru and order the sweet potato mexi-fries, knowing it’ll take longer, because they’re so damn freshy delicious. But what really blows our minds is the staff there. In our darker days, when we’d midnight run to Jack in the Box, we always felt like we were the biggest inconvenience to the poor sap who was stuck working drive thru graveyard. But not at WSTT. Every single employee we’ve had hand us our delicious food has been impossibly kind and friendly and deals with our requests for«a couple more things of salsa» with grace and awesomeness. On top of that, they’ve got a drive-thru line that is winding absolutely haphazardly through the parking lot with no end in sight, and they just keep hitting us with big smiles. The last time I went through I couldn’t even get to the drive-thru, there were so many cars jamming up the lot. So I went inside for the first time. Uhhh. LISTENTOME, DRIVE-THRUONLYCUSTOMERS: The soda machine in the lobby is amaaaaazing. There are about 1200 different options in a TOUCHSCREEN soda fountain. Mindblown. Oh right, the last time I went through… Service was slow-ish. Probably related to that huge line of cars. After I fiddled with the magic drink dispenser for a bit, the manager came out with my to-go order and was, as the rest of the staff there, SO awesome and friendly and«thank you so much for coming in!» that I immediately forgot I’d been waiting a bit. So good on you, WSTT. Keep rocking socks and we’ll keep clogging up your drive-thru.

So, Taco Time is new to me. I’m from Hawaii where there are no Taco Times. And now that I’m here in Seattle and frequently dine(yes, dine) at Taco Time because I love them, I feel sorry for my Hawaii peeps. In the realm of fast food(or «quick dining»), Taco Time rules. 1. Table service. How rad is that? 2. Super friendly service. The cashiers are always so nice and patient. The drive thru service is quick and friendly as well. 3. The food. I kind of see them as a more«down» version of Chipotle, if you know what I mean. Like, all or most of their food is locally farmed and harvested, all their plates, cups, utensils are compostable. so they’re environmentally friendly and all that jazz, which I love. But they still have«deep fried» food. I’m addicted to the crisp burrito – all of them, chicken, beef, pinto&cheese. It’s like a flauta or giant taquito. No frills. Just the meat rolled in a tortilla(some cheese with the chicken, but you get my drift) and deep fried. Simple but so good! The white chicken chili always hits the right spot, and omg, the churros! 4. Calorie count. They have a bunch of healthy options, too, but with all of their meals, they have the calorie breakdown if you’re keeping track. They are also listed in certain apps like Lose It, which is an added bonus(to me). 5. Affordable. Fast food prices for better quality and better tasting food. And they have one of those beverage machines with a zillion flavor choices. Fun. I like that you can just grab a crisp burrito or just a chili for a quick bite, you know the calorie count, and it’s good. I also like that you can hang back and eat in comfort in the restaurant if you choose… it’s always clean(the times that I’ve been there). Oh and the women’s restroom is pretty clean too. Watch out for high school football game nights though. They get pretty crowded. So yah, they’re not zagat rated, and yes, they are basically fast food, but don’t let that scare you away. They are only here in Washington, which is also pretty cool too. Sorry Hawaii, you’ll just have to deal with Taco Bell :). I mean, :(

I really like this place. Of all the chains, I feel most confident about the food served here. It is always clean and the employees are almost always pleasant. During busy times it can be a bit of a wait and their fancy soda machine can run dry of beverage options but it is a small price to pay for good informal dining.

So it’s totally strange that I’m posting a Unilocal review on a fast food place but this joint earned a 4 star review! I was here a couple nights ago for the first time to this location. I was massively taken aback by the VERY kind cashier! Wow! She was so nice, I thought for a minute she was hitting on me. Then I realized she was just beyond freaking amazing and loving her job. And I didn’t have to repeat anything that I said in the drive thru like I usually have to, over and over, because I have a high pitched voice that seems to not translate well over the intercom. They actually heard me, and they actually got my order right. Food was all quite tasty and fresh, nothing stale or under a heat lamp for hours on end. The right amount of ice in my soda, too. I hate it when you get a drink in the drive thru and it’s 90% ice. Good job, team. Food: 3 Service: 5 Ambiance: NA Parking: 4

Anytime is a Taco Time and it shows! Nobody makes a crisp beef burrito like taco time does… The flakiness of the deep fried crust and meat grease all blend together to make on of the finest fast food delicacies on the planet! Even the crispy bean burrito is awesome and it shows! Taco Times menu is a culinary delight for all foodies. Some of the highlights are the Mexi Fries, Soft Taco and plain regular Taco which are just many of the wonderful tasty treats you can order. And if you just wanna nibble, well they serve half size orders for your cravings… If you grew up in the NW then you know what I’m talking about… And those thinking about trying it, don’t think just do! Viva Taco Time!

Let’s just say this might be my first time reviewing a fast food place, but Taco Time is worth it! I’ve never eaten at a Taco Time until I moved to Seattle. I hear it’s a local chain. It might be fast but the food is FANTASTIC– fresh, flavorful, and affordable! From the delicious tacos to the mexi-plates and burritos, I haven’t had a bad thing here. I love their mexi-fries and churros. No matter how much food I get for my husband and me, I never spend more than $ 20. We’re always stuffed and satisfied. This is our go-to place when we just don’t feel like cooking or going to a sit-down restaurant.

I realized something today. I’ve been to this Taco Time like, 50 times and they NEVER, EVER get my order wrong. I don’t check the bag. They state what’s in it(after asking if I want hot sauce or ketchup) and I drive away into the night, cradling my recyclable Taco Time bag like the baby I don’t have. And I order crazy, too — ask my boyfriend. No beans. Wheat wrap instead. No tomatoes. Add rice. Fat-free sour cream, please. Diet coke with LIGHTICE.(I am that annoying beyotch who will literally hand the drink back to the drive-through guy if I detect too much ice. I’m paying $ 2 for a freaking fountain soda that cost you 20 cents — give me my damn soda light ice.) But Taco Time always gets it right. Not always the fastest, but I know this is because they’re making this shit fresh, and they’re making it RIGHT. It’s always busy — glance inside the lobby during peak times like I do(the eerie creeper that I am) — they’re crawling with families, high school teams, adults like me. Oh and, just for the compulsory review stuff: –Huge Chipolte-sized burritos — BOMB –Crustos — BOMB –Mexi Fries — BOMB(boyfriend is a Taco Bell guy. I made him try The Time and at his first Mexi Fry, he looked at me with his eyes wide. He said«Oh, whAAt!?» — true story) –Chicken Caesar Wrap, only offered in the summer(because life is cruel) — BOMB –Tostada Salad(minus beans + rice) — BOMB –Sodas — all types in the soda land. Fanta Grape? Coke Zero? Dasani Rasberry? Maybe I love it because my parents have always loved it. Who knows. The heart wants what the heart wants.

Taco Time is Consistent. Taco Time is a restaurant. Taco Time has tacos. Taco Time has soda. They say if you can’t say anything nice about somewhere, don’t say anything at all. Taco Time has Burritos. Taco Time is just off of Alaska on your way home from the bar. They should cook their mexi-fries more, the last batch I had were barely browned. They use some healthy oil or something, tends to have a bit of a nasty after taste. The staff at this Taco Time is awesome. They are like the Nordstrom of Fast Food. They’re very courteous, fast, dressed cleanly, friendly.

UGH, such a bad burrito. No surprise. But why does Taco Time rank the #1 restuarant for burritos in zip 98116?!? Is it really that bad here(hint hint … yes, it is). See pic I posted showing«burrito» search results. My earlier review was under the influence of forced irreverence.
