I’ve had lots of delivery Indian food that was completely westernized. Thank you!!! This was far more authentic Indian food at a reasonable price and I can’t believe they deliver!!! I couldn’t be happier with the quality and the service. I ordered the samosas, the lamb jalfrezi and of course, naan. Everything was perfect!

Honestly probably some of the worst Indian curry I’ve ever had. Chicken Tikka was pretty much just water and Naan was flavorless. This was delivery, so eating in may be different.

I ate way too much delicious Indian food just now. I got the Aloo Paratha, Aloo Gobhi/Aloo Mataram, Mixed Pickle, and the Matar Paneer. Delivery was 45 minutes and came with a smile. Will order again and again, and will stick with the vegetarian and Paneer dishes.

This place looks like a place where they sell unwanted children but in truth they offer great Indian food! My friend Chelsea J. brought me here to try their butter chicken and garlic naan. Let me tell you, it was so good that she ate two orders of the garlic naan, an entire order of butter chicken, the tikka masala chicken, the lamb rogan josh, and three fish samosas! And she was on a diet, it was so good she couldn’t help herself! I had the butter chicken and it was buttery and tasted like chicken. I liked it! But what really made my heart dance was the garlic naan. It was so warm and soft, like being in the arms of Ursher. Kid friendly!

The chicken in the chicken Tikka was gross. Very dry even though the sauce was on the watery side. Pakora was good but everything else was bland.

i have lived in my apartment building behind this restaurant for awhile now and have always enjoyed the smells that perfume the air over the years. today, i finally decided to give them a try and i glad i did. the food i ordered(chicken korma, palak paneer and garlic naan) was hot and tasty. its slightly pricy but the quality and speed in which my food was prepared was wonderful. i am not sure why they don’t appear more busy! go check them out, family seems very nice.

Possibly the most excellent Indian food I’ve ever had! We ordered the tikka masala and lamb vindaloo. The service was very mindful of the water levels in our glasses too.

Love the food! Friendly family makes me feel like they’re inviting me over for dinner. Always have great specials for dining in or to go orders. I continually come back!

Our go-to for Indian take-out. I live close by so I always walk here to pick up. I’ve never dined in or had delivery– just doesn’t make sense for me to do so. The food is hot when I pick up and unpack at home. I’ve only had the mango chicken curry with basmati rice(comes with the meal) and naan(plain or garlic.) I like to keep it simple– I’ve been frequenting this restaurant a couple times a month for 6 months and I stick to the same delicious meal. It is so good that I don’t want to change it up! It is authentic and the portion is a good size(leftovers for later.) Very happy to have it so close by. It is true by the other comment that the take-out boxes are unlabeled. We have had a friend get take-out with us from Mehak and he was blown away by how good it tasted. Word of advice– don’t let the appearance/ambiance of the restaurant make you hesitant to try it out– you will like it. It is clean. I like to support this restaurant in my neighborhood because the family is hard working and skilled in their food preparation. Sometimes I see the woman who cooks walking around the neighborhood for a stroll with a small child. She is also very friendly(sometimes makes an appearance from the kitchen and has a smile on her face.) The only criticism I want to give is sometimes the phone orders can be difficult because I have a hard time hearing the other end. Give it a whirl!

Wonderful food! I ordered the plain rice, butter chicken, garlic naan, aloo tikki, vegetable pakoras, and gulab jamun, all of which are great! I have read other reviews complaining about the unmarked delivery containers, but opening them should solve that problem, so I found no complaints to give here!

I joined Unilocal to write a review for Mehak Indian Cuisine! The food is amazing and the naan is out of this world. This is an authentic hole-in-the-wall Indian restaurant, so don’t expect all the bells and whistles. The family that runs this place is super sweet. Delicious food and wonderful service… we’ll be going back!

This place is a total rip off. The prices on the online menu are $ 1-$ 2 less per item ordered then what they actually charge you for the food at the Restaurant when you arrive to pick up the food and pay. The food tasted OK but the serving sizes were super small – the containers were the size of a small left over container that you typically get when you eat out. I ordered Lamb Vindaloo and it had one potato and about 4 pieces of lamb and all the rest was sauce. Don’t order from this place.

4 stars for the food, 1 star for«holy crap, why are there so many unmarked containers wrapped in plastic wrap?!» We literally spent 10 minutes trying to figure out who’s food was who’s. I ordered the kheer because it was described as rice pudding with raisins and almonds on it and it came to me as a bowl of watery rice pudding with nothing on it. Still delicious, but a bit disappointing. I truly truly wish that the containers were marked because I ended up wasting 1⁄3 of the food. I ordered soup and butter chicken and they both had the exact same consistency so I poured what I thought was butter chicken over my rice only then to realize that I just poured half my soup over my rice. Boo! That part was my fault, but totally could’ve been avoided had the containers been MARKED! Ok I will shut up about that now. I appreciated how quickly our order was ready and that the food tasted very, very good. Will definitely re-order again :)

I really wanted to like this place since there are not a lot of places that deliver in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, I didn’t. The chicken tika was okay, but that’s about it. The salad was old, the tamarind sauce tasted like it was beginning to ferment, and the samosas had no crunch… The dough was soft and a little mushy. I will have to keep on searching.

This place is so cute and sincere! We live nearby and order out too often. It’s a perfect go to after a long day.

I wasn’t expecting anything extremely good from delivery. The food wasn’t seasoned enough and the curry is very watery. More importantly, 90% of the lamb in the curry was not tender. The Chicken Pakoras was not flavorful and a bit sour. $ 20ish of food is not worth the money. Portion was okay, just the taste was disappointed.

I think Mehak is Awesome! My kids love the Tikka Chicken Masala… I just tell them very mild for kids. I love the Palak Paneer and the eggplant. The Nana bread is the best around. The Family own/cook/run the place is so nice and sweet. If you have trouble with the communication just use Grub Hub when ordering to go. I don’t because it costs them a bit but there are coupons there!

The food here is pretty good, but I’m no longer a customer of this place. At first I wondered why this place was not super popular, but now I know. We had been ordering delivery from this place, but it’s just too difficult to deal with them. They can be kind of rude(even sarcastic! Sorry if I didn’t use the star system that isn’t even on your menu…). And just strange. Last time they delivered, it was raining, but the guy would NOT come up to the door, he just stood there in the driveway so we had to put on shoes and walk to him to get the food. Their menu is full of mistakes… as in, the entire dishes are wrong. Maybe they put the wrong descriptions along with those names? One example: one dish said it contained ground lamb, yet the lamb was certainly not ground(and every time we get it, there is hardly any meat in it anyway — first time we thought they just didn’t scoop enough as a mistake, but nope, it’s always like that). The sauce is good though… Ordering over the phone is also difficult. Their coupons don’t actually seem to apply to any items on the menu… One says that if you buy 3 entrees, you get the 3rd one free, as long as it’s less than $ 7. Guess what. No entrees on the entire menu are less than $ 7. So I thought, maybe you just get $ 7 off, or maybe an appetizer? Nope. It doesn’t apply to anything. It’s completely useless. I spend several minutes trying to get the guy to explain and he couldn’t. So I gave up.

We were very dissatisfied with Mehak Indian Cuisine. The lamb in the curry was over cooked and there was approximately 3 pieces of meat in it. I usually order my Indian food«5-stars» level of spicy and find it too mild and their«hot» is borderline inedible!
