Menchie’s

If my 3.5 year old daughter wrote this it would be 5 stars and that is exactly the clientele they cater too. It isn’t the worst one of these frozen yogurt from a cleanliness standpoint, which is about as positive a statement as these places can get from adults.
I tend to hate this place unfairly not because of the very mediocre yogurt but because we can’t walk or drive through the village without it being pointed out by the kid. Numerous irrational temper tantrums thrown over my refusal to go there on a rainy 40 degree day.

Just as good as froyo! A good place for a small snack! Fresh fruits, good flavored. Very similar to FROYO

Been living in the village for a while. Don’t know why I never tried this place until 2 weeks ago but I’m glad I did. I think it’s on a par with Pinkberry but Menchies has more flavors. It’s really good.

This is our favorite yogurt shop! They have great flavors, coffee and other grown up kinds for me, blue raspberry and cookies and cream types for my 6 year old. They also have a big selection of toppings, cereals, candies, chocolates, fruits, mochis, caramel, etc.
Also, we’ve been to Menchie’s in Arizona and Washington and the people who work there are always really friendly and nice.

Menchie’s is a pretty middle of the road froyo shop, not bad but isn’t going to leave you saying «Let’s go to Menchie’s!» with excitement next time you’re looking for froyo.
The good about this place is that there is a lot of choice when it comes to things to put in your froyo. Tons of different candies and sauces, with a good mix of berries and other healthier ingredients. Some of the flavors of yogurt are really good too.
The bad however, is that the flavors are inconsistent. You can get one that is spot on, and another that just leaves you wondering what the hell they were thinking. Limits your combinations in a way. Also, with this particular store, it’s fairly small and loud. There is outdoor seating here but only two tables. So keep that in mind when visiting this particular store.
All-​in-​all not a terrible yogurt place. You won’t leave feeling unsatisfied, but there’s tons of options here in Seattle. Plenty more better options, but not a bad one here either.

Yuck. This place was dirty. Their bathroom was disgusting. It made me think about the level of cleanliness in their facility if they let the bathroom get that bad. There wasn’t as many things to put on your fro-​yo as in other Menchies like at U-​Village or Shoreline. I’m annoyed I purchased 2 amazon local deals for this place because I doubt I

We were in on one of the first sunny days so it was crowded but things seemed to run smoothly; huge selection of flavors and toppings, the store, restroom and outdoor seating was clean. The young employees were polite and friendly. Everything was delicious. This is definitely our new weekend treat.

Not a bad thing to say! The people that work there are always nice and relatable. The owner super nice really connects with everyone. Give it a go! You won’t be disappointed!

Need some «munchies» then get some amazing menchies with all sorts of flavors and toppings. Oh ya and there’s chocolate covered waffle cones with sprinkles. Lots of coupons so you can always save

I love menchies! Favorites mix is chocolate and cake batter with marshmallows and raspberries on top. Yum!

arrived about 8pm on Friday night. The store looked a bit dirty and toppings area could have used a good clean. young lady at cashier station seem flustered. Tried to explain that she was out of change before we could tell her that we were using a credit card. My general thought was that she could have simply smiled and asked how we were paying before going into long story about how she was out of change. I noted that the tip jar had a large amount of ones and change. She should have put a $ 20 in the tip jar and put the 1’s in the register… bathroom was clean…

I’m sure the product is not unlike most yogurt shops of the same ilk, but there’s something about the brand that makes me feel like a fat-​free happy Japanese kid.
It’s like a Teletubbie den of the fat-​free yogurt world! And that’s awesome.

I want to love Menchie’s. I really do. I love froyo shops and the flavors at Menchie’s are good and change regularly. I hate going to this store, though.
The other reviews about the snotty tween employees are spot on. One of the employees cut in front of me to get a sample cup of yogurt the last time we were there, and they get super annoyed when you want to, like, PAY for your yogurt. Ugh, customers, AMIRITE?!? Also, I expect to see kids at a store like this, but it seems like there are always gaggles of unsupervised tweens hanging around inside and outside the store. They’re rude to other customers and their gossip sessions are held at decibel levels usually reserved for rock concerts. The worst part, though, is that the store is consistently a hot mess. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t shut this place down. The floor is sticky and dirty, the handles on the yogurt machines are sticky, the topping spoons look like they’ve never been washed, the refrigerated toppings are usually room temperature or warmer… like I said. Hot mess.

I won’t bring my little boy here any longer and the tweener boys who work there act so annnoyed that they have to do actually work now that they have jobs there. Makes me think the owners havent a clue about whats going on with their business or don;t care, either way, they must not want more money as they jsut lost a customer tonight.
I always thought this was an urban thing, but it must be in snobby, self-​entitled Magnolia as well.
Good Job, Good Effort. Get a job so you can act like a snobby little brat who huffs and puffs because they actually have to do something. People man.

After Hot Pot with friends, I suggested having Fro Yo! This is the Menchie’s in their hood!
This Menchie’s is located in Magnolia downtown. Street parking is easily found and free. Cozy feeling to this Menchie’s with some unique flavors such as theater popcorn.
I was surprised to hear that the waffle is free everyday! Love this Menchie’s!

Like most Menchie’s, the self-​serve froyo is amazing, and they often have new, interesting flavors. They also have plenty of fruit and yummy toppings.
The layout is pretty good too, as it seems to be large enough to accommodate taste testers milling about.
.AND the last time I was there, the girl offered me a waffle cone. I didn’t eat it and I’m not sure who gets waffle cone with their froyo, but I’m glad she offered!

I’m updating this based on my experience last night for «national froyo» day in which 6oz were supposed to be free — yet they decided to only accept printed coupons and each person had to have one. Cause that’s not environmentally friendly or anything and we don’t live in the 21^st century, right? But that’s besides the point because I know that comes down from corporate and it’s not this stores fault.
But it was yesterday that I realized this place is horribly designed if there are more than 10 people in the store. Be prepared for tons of unruly children and mom’s who don’t enforce any sort of manners on them because they’re being equally in the way things and rude holding Magnolia Mom social hour in front of all the yogurt machines holding up the line of people just trying to get through and get some yogurt. Menchies has slowly been going down on my list.

I’m so glad we have a froyo option in Magnolia now! The store itself is really bright and light, and every time I’ve gone in there, it’s been really clean. They have a great variety of flavors, though i’m always hoping for more fruit tart and non-​dairy options since those are my faves. Great variety of toppings. If you frequent the place, be sure to get a smilage card, which is their rewards system.

This place always makes me smile! This location offers great options for non-​dairy folk and has a great selection of toppings. I’d definitely recommend this place, however, bring your patience as children stand and decide what they want.

I love my fro yo, at least the 3 weeks of the year it’s warm enough to crave it. And Menchies is great. I do wish that the acoustics were better to subdue the screaming from the unending stream of children.
I appreciate that they have several «no sugar added» flavors too!
