Went here just to try their bubble tea, and i was rewarded with deliciousness. Got Jasmine milk tea with extra boba and it was spot on. Tea was tasty and not too sweet, boba was a good consistency and nicely sweetened. My friend got a mocha that we both thought was tasty. Only drawback is the parking, which is on the street and at least at midday on a Tuesday was very hard to come by. On the plus side, there’s a park close by that you can stroll through and get an amazing view of Seattle proper. I would definitely come back!

Its small and very cozy. Came in here after picture project with my lil bro and friend. Man that warmth on a freezing day was amazing. I felt liek a walrus was slapping me with its fins while i was outside. Vanessa was the only one working that day and was super super kind. she made sure all the drinks weren’t too sweet and reminded us that they are all were adjustable to our needs. I got the pumplkin pie latte. it was so yum! her pumpkin flavor is actual pumpkin and really carefully crafted. This is way better than a typical coffee chain. Two things I love: 1. the lighting here, The decorations were so adorable, it’s just like how i’d want in my home 2. They have holiday flavors ALLYEARROUND. Thanks for the great service and lovely drinks! can’t wait to try the bubble tea and gingerbread flavor latte next.

Moondrop Café is such an amazing gem of a place! I have lived in West Seattle for about two months and this is definitely my new favorite. It is in a beautiful location on Alki, so grab a hot drink here on a cold day and take a stroll on the pathway by the water overlooking downtown Seattle. I got the Moonrise breakfast sandwich on the parmesan bagel, and then added bacon and Vanessa’s homemade pesto($ 1 extra for each). The add ons really made the sandwich, and the pesto was so good with the warm cream cheese. I am so excited to come back again and again.

I could be somewhat biased bc I know the owner but I genuinely was impressed with her thriving business. I’ve known her since her bubble tea days and her teas are even better here. I got a hot jasmine milk tea and drank it so quickly. Coffee was strong as it should be. She has a beautiful scene right across the street from the water. Totally worth checking out !

Cute little café across from the water. This was our first stop while in Seattle after a very early morning flight. The place is tiny with only 2 indoor tables and 1 outside. Service was very friendly and there was a steady stream of people coming and going on a Thursday around 10am. They were out of any baked goods I was interested in, but they did have bagels. My husband and I split a parmesan bagel, which was delicious and soft and just the right size to hold us over until lunch. We each had the peach tea– mine was hot, his was iced. Both really good and not overly sweet. The view across the street is pretty great(even on a gloomy morning like the one we had). Parking was easy to find… There’s some available on the street, but we found a free 2 hour lot just a block or two away.

Such a cute little coffee shop! Came here to get a cold refreshing drink after pigging out at Marination(RIGHT across the street). This place is tiny with 3 tables so it’s more of a grab n go place! but all the décor in this place reflects the love and care the owner has for the place– cozy, chic, casual and not too overly– hipster. Great menu options and decently priced! Not an overwhelming menu but there’s definitely something for everyone: coffees, milk teas, smoothies with real fruit, waffles, sandwiches… Got a large almond milk tea with boba and lavender milk tea with boba. The boba could be better, kind of tasteless compared to mainstream tea places like Sharetea or Oasis. Choice of jellies too if you’d rather get that. My lavender drink was on point! Not a lot of places offer this flavor but I always love lavender! My bf liked his almond MT — not too sweet and well mixed. Bonus for the lactose-intolerant: they use non-dairy creamer. The service and staff were welcoming and friendly. I’m not in area often but I’m sure when I am I will definitely stop by Moondrop!

Cute little place in a very neat spot. Parking is hard to find, but the view is fantastic. The ladies working there are vibrant and friendly; the whole place feels very warm and cozy. Too small to work in, really, but nice to stop and grab something.

Spent a few days on Alki beach, stopped by here frequently. Great drinks, not overly sweetened like most places. Very friendly service with an amazing view of downtown Seattle. It’s also in a convenient location, located across from the bike/kayak rental place. If you’re in the area, rent a bike, then swing by here for a refreshing snack/drink. ps. try the monkey smoothie,

Love this little café! The owners are so friendly, and they are located in the perfect spot on Alki… away from the hustle and bustle, and right across from Marination Ma Kai. You will not find a better café in this area – one where they really put thought and love into their creations. Their sandwiches are superb. they offer boba teas, and their coffee is delicious. Additionally, they use organic ingredients! Not just organic coffee, but organic milk, etc. When I’m looking for a special café that is worth driving to, and spending my cash at, this is the kind of place I’m in search of. A menu that’s well curated, with friendly baristas and a great view.

Vanessa is one caring owner! I love the almond milk latte with a perfect bar every time I come in! There are so many great options and they customizable to your liking! I also get the waffle, the flavors are incredible! The atmosphere is awesome and they are dog friendly! My two dogs(Bear and Troy) always are welcomed with fresh water and dog treats!

My new regular stop on alki rides/drives. Right across the water taxi… It’s hard to find places now that care about what what’s going into your body as much as you do. Just ask them! And the best part… tastefully addictive! I usually only use Unilocal to find places but a quick chat with Vanessa and 1 taro bubble tea later, I was excited to actually review the place. I truly can’t wait to go again and frequent it

A wonderful little hidden gem towards the end of Alki. Cute little shop with urban décor. Has a very relaxed vibe. The owners were super nice and friendly. Greeted us attentively as soon as we arrived. They have a lot of unique flavors for milk teas like lavender, almond, and passion fruit. You can get the teas iced or hot, either way they’re going to be delicious! What I really enjoy about this place though is that they don’t just sell coffee, teas, and pastries, but fresh squeezed juices and blended fresh fruit and veggie smoothies as well. They don’t shy with the vegetables or fruits either, full of flavor and you can taste all of the yummy ingredients. This little shop will definitely be a place I will come back to often. Perfect little stop on Alki.

Excellent sandwiches and drinks, super friendly owner, and great atmosphere. Limited seating keeps the place cozy. I recommend the coffee milk tea and the americano. The owner frequently offers new items and I am looking forward to getting my green juices here!

This place is excellent. The first time I went I’d already ordered coffee before I noticed the milk tea list. By the way, the salted carmel latte is awesome. Not overly sweet. Perfectly salted. Nicely balanced all around. Yesterday, I had occasion to try moondrop again and we both went for the milk tea. I tried to order mine just a little sweet, and the helpful young man behind the counter assured me they do not oversweeten their teas. I agreed to give it a shot, he promissed to re-make it if it was too sweet. It was perfect as-is. Both my plain black, and my daughter’s chai, teas were great. The boba was not over cooked and the portion was just the right amount for a few bobas with every sip. Nice to see a craft boba(and coffee! and smoothies! and waffles! and sandwiches! and bagels!) shop crop up in the most unexpected of places(but actually a great location right across from the walk-on ferry from downtown).

Aside from your everyday Starbucks, Tully’s, or Oasis, a friend of mine suggested I try out Moondrop. I’m still fairly new in town, and I enjoy supporting local businesses. I was told that Moondrop carries organic or naturally grown ingredients. Such as their bubble tea ingredients. It is not powdered like most places in the Seattle area, which is wonderful, so my drinks won’t taste like bubble gum. At first, I wasn’t sure what to try. David suggested I try their jasmine milk tea. I’ve never had the two combined, and once I tried it, I immediately loved it. It may be my new favorite drink. The milk tea was not over powering with so much sugar. It was well balanced, light, and refreshing. Their tapioca is made to perfection. Some places may over cook or undercook their tapioca, and that is what bubble tea is about. If you have chewy tapioca, it ruins your entire drink. Their menu also includes a verity of health kick smoothies, small bites and snacks, and freshly squeezed juice. The ambiance is small, yet cozy and inviting. There are a few tables and seats to go around if you want to study, chat with a friend after a run on the beach, or just to relax while you have your morning cup of coffee. There is plenty of street parking available, so no fuss there. I would encourage locals to stop by and try Moondrop. Taste the difference in quality, and enjoy the view right outside.

I went here and got hot coconut vanilla milk tea with tapioca and it was life changing. The tapioca melted in my mouth and the warm tea melted my body and soul lol this was after walking my German shepherd puppy for over an hour so I was pretty cold so ignore how dramatic I am with descriptions haha– Anyways the place was dog friendly which was a plus! My puppy Zeke had water dish outside with dog treats :) Anyways the place is very cute and retro and the service was nice too :) I highly recommend it — try the milk tea! Not too sweet it was perfect
