I loved my experience @ Museum Quality Framing(Laurelhurst.) It is very expensive… but the quality of the materials and work is fabulous. Autumn was amazing! She was very patient, helpful and had great ideas of what frames would best suit the artwork I brought in. I look forward to having more framing done here.

I had a large poster framed from the Laurelhurst MQF shop which turned out wonderful. My boyfriend as a birthday gift, surprised me by getting a old photo of Green Lake framed from the same shop. The staff pulled up my records and matched his photo with the frame I had already purchased months prior. The photo turned out wonderful as well. I highly recommend the shop.

A year ago I brought an original oil painting that I had purchased online to a different NE Seattle frame shop that I had used before. The painting was affixed to a deep wood box that would make framing it tricky. The other shop told me they couldn’t frame it, and suggested I have a furniture maker custom make a frame. This sounded unnecessarily expensive and time consuming. Driving home from that shop, I stopped by Museum Quality Framing on a whim. The name of the store had always deterred me, since neither my art nor my budget are museum quality. Amber looked at the painting, and without any fuss, offered a number of workable options. Since then, I’ve had Amber frame more than a dozen pieces — oil paintings, watercolors, and matted prints. She takes her time, has an excellent eye, and will quickly adjust options to fit my budget for a particular piece. She even put together a custom made framed mirror, after I couldn’t find one of an appropriate size for my foyer. This is high quality custom framing, at about the same price point as other such frame stores, but my customer experience at Museum Quality Framing has been far superior than at other places. Once a year, in July(I think) they have a sale with discounts on custom framing.
