Noah Salon

Noah is a master of balayage. I first saw him when my hair was a mess of crazy highlights. He has an amazing eye for the perfect color. He has taken care of my hair since then, and I can attest that no-​one has better attention to detail than Noah. He paints each tiny section of hair with precision. I have long, thick hair, and Noah takes his time to apply the color so carefully. He doesn’t rush on my hair, even though I definitely have more hair than many of his other clients. Noah paints the hair in such minuscule sections, it is the perfect camouflage for grays. The result is that my color looks so natural, it grows out beautifully. Because of this, I actually get my color done less often. As far as I’m concerned, Noah is one of a kind in the world of balayage.

I purchased a Groupon for a partial balayage and was able to schedule an appointment with Noah right away. I was hesitant as I have had balayage from other salons and the results were mixed at best (one turned into an ombré that looked more like grown out roots and another was an orange mess). But Noah knows what he is doing with decade + of experience.
What he actually ended up having to do was a color correction to fix the stripy, chunky foil I had had two weeks prior. Noah did a great job, put me at ease, and made my hair blonder and brighter — just how I wanted it. He conditioned my over processed hair (from the previous salon) and made it feel like real hair again!
Noah is a balayage expert and I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for natural looking, bright beautiful color.

I was happy to follow Rebekah from Gene Juarez to a new salon — she does a great job with my curly hair, and this cut was no exception. Noah did a wonderful job on my single-​process color. This is a small place, with lots of personal attention directly from both Rebekah and Noah (no assistants, receptionists, etc.). They were gracious, took time to listen to what I was considering, and executed beautifully. Also, street parking!

I have never had balayage before but I heard it was all the rage! I found Noah salon through a Groupon deal. You get a cut, style, partial balayage, and moisturizing treatment all for 79 bucks! I really liked how Noah took note of my opinion of what I wanted, but also had the artistic freedom to paint the highlights as he wanted. I loved the color. It is not too flashy, but really stands out when I curl my hair. Balayage is truly amazing by giving hair depth and dimension. Next, Rebecca gave me a great style with amazing framing on the face and lovely layers. I really enjoyed her upbeat personality and enjoyed chatting with her. I also received a moisturizing treatment that left my hair feeling amazing after having oily hair for a long time! Noah and Rebecca gave me great advice on what hair products to purchase to upkeep my balayage look. I hope someday they sell products they recommend right in the salon! Overall I was really impressed and will recommend Noah salon to anyone who wants to experience the French amazingness of the bayalage!!!

YES YES YES IS ALL I CAN SAY!!! Came here with a groupon for a partial balayage and stylist cut! It was my first time getting my hair professionally done at a salon so I was quite nervous! Noah and Rebekah are both very professional and talented individuals. They have both worked at Gene Juarez and have had years of professional experience working together. They are the dream team in terms of doing hair. Very friendly service and they do not make you feel rushed when customers are waiting. They make you feel very comfortable during conversations. They take their time in doing what they do and you can tell they put pride in their work. I never got my hair done because I was very scared it might come off bad but I am so glad out of all the groupons I chose Noah Salon. I feel like a new person! Thank you so much couldn’t be any happier!

Noah is a master colorist. He has been taking care of my blonde for years. I have often received compliments on my hair, and always end up with a result that is reminiscent of the color my hair was in high school. I love Noah. Can’t recommend him enough!

I have been going to Noah for many years when he was at Gene Juarez, and now he has his own salon in the U district. He work is always of the highest quality and personal.
This time he bleached m hair white, then toned it purple. The color is really gorgeous and layered, and my hair is still very soft.
Best in Seattle in my book.

I have been seeing Rebekah for about 4 years. She’s maintained my long hair and also helped me cut off over a foot and no matter which way we are going, she rocks it! She is amazing at interpreting the style you are going for and executing it in a way that not only looks good, but also is easy to maintain and grows out nicely. TL; DR She is AMAZING and the only one I trust to cut my hair.
Rebekah’s new venture with Noah is very nicely done. The salon is small, but it is chic and intimate, culminating in a very calm and relaxed environment. For those uninitiated with the U-​District, parking can be tricky, but the salon’s location is close to ample parking: just head west of Roosevelt and there is plenty of parking on 11^th Ave. You shouldn’t need to walk more than about 2 minutes from your parking spot. (Much better than salons in large shopping complexes where you are battling for spots!)

Rebecca has been cutting my hair for about 5 years. She rocks! Always listens and gives suggestions. I leave her salon looking great! So glad she moved closer to me. Also going to try Noah for color next time. I hear he’s great.

Rebekah has been cutting my hair for the past three years and after moving away for school and trying other stylists, she’s the one I come back to every time. Even if I only see her at Christmas or in the summer, she remembers my style and how I like to wear my hair. While I may bring in the same request every time, she knows how to update my style without losing the core cut and style that works for my face and hair type. She spends time with her clients and understands what works best for them.
For those moving to the U area and are looking for a new stylist, I highly recommend Rebekah. The first time I got my hair cut with her was seriously the best experience because we talked through the style I wanted at length and she paid great attention to detail in the photo I brought in. I hate getting my hair cut, but she takes the time. It’s why I keep coming back to her!

This place is amazing! Four star customer service! I came into the salon needing a much needed hair makeover and Becca and Noah gave me the best cut and color I have ever had.
