So sad. Super busy and neither of us finished our dinner so we were looking forward to lunch for tomorrow. Instead of boxing it up server tossed it. Her bad and such a waste. So looking forward to my next day meal. Plus, only an «I’m sorry» what a bunch of wasted food. That’s a crime. No excuse.

This is our neighborhood Italian place, as we live very close by it. It’s such a great family restaurant. Friendly staff, and great food. I think it’s also been here for 20 years in the neighborhood. My favorite is the spaghetti Carbonara, but my husband always gets chicken parm. Their salads and rolls are really amazing too.

Been eating there for over 20 years. Cried when they left for a bit and glad they are back! After plowing off a couple orders of their to die for rolls, I order the Roquefort salad with prawns. I had the Chicken and Veal Parmesan, it is great! I don’t even like pasta or red sauce but I can’t resist there. If I want to really pig out, I order the Prawns Casanova. All their pizzas are delish!

What a great place to eat! It was our first time here and I would definitely come back. I had Prawn Scampi and my boyfriend had Spaghetti Carbonara. Both were delicious and a very nice, manageable portion, which is something I’m always nervous about when ordering plates of pasta. I don’t like being overwhelmed by a giant pile of food. I love that this is a local family restaurant and right in our neighborhood.

We came into pizzuto’s looking for yummy authentic Italian for dinner. We both ordered pizzas, a Classico for him and a Verde with sausage for me. The pizza crusts on both were super good, fine and crispy. The Classico was definitely the preferred out of the two with a delicious red sauce and many toppings all the way up to the crust. The pesto pizza was good, the sun-dried tomatoes were superb and the sausage was tasty. I definitely recommend for pesto lovers. The rolls here are super duper! This restaurant is the real deal and worth the drive. It was packed on a Thursday with a jovial Italian kitchen feel. The pastas smelt wonderful! I can’t wait to come back and try the Alfredo. This quaint place is reasonably priced for being authentic Italian cuisine and portion size is healthy too. Expect about $ 40 for 2 with drinks and no dessert. Worth every penny!

TERRIBLESERVICE!!! My boyfriend and I arrived first to celebrate my sister’s birthday at Pizzutos. Before we even walked in one of the waitresses looked us up and down and wouldn’t hold the door open for us like she did for the larger group in front of us. This was especially frustrating because our arms were full with presents and balloon bouquets. After we walked in we found ourselves standing in the seating area with the entire staff looking at us, but wouldn’t approach us. After what felt like forever, one young guy reluctantly led us to a tablel and instead of asking who’s birthday it was he immediately told us we have to tie the balloons to the chairs so they wouldn’t get in the way. I thanked him for finally greeting us, and added because nobody else did and he blamed it on everyone being overwhelmed by the balloons. I extremely haaate when people pull the race card however I am Native American and my boyfriend is black so after receiving consistent bad attitudes towards us I was starting to feel like this was a racist situation. After my family arrived things didn’t get better, the waitress that didn’t hold the door for us continued to make a big deal of the balloons and overall made us uncomfortable. Our actual waitress got my dad’s order wrong, and THE only person who was nice to us was an older waiter who came over to say he wanted to join the party. :) All in all, it’s hard to believe that after 20 years they are still there because of the way they treat people. Don’t get me wrong the food was good, but after my experience I am never going back! Beyond rude.

Love it! The fettuccine Alfredo was amazing. And the salad was great too! Nothing can top the bread though, maybe only Ed the waiter. Love this place highly recommend.

This place is fantastic for comfort food. Family friendly, huge portions, great food! Get the lasagna verde, it’ll blow your mind! Incredible consistent, perfect neighborhood staple.

All I can say is they have the best eggplant parm in the world. To me it delicious! I’ve been eating here for 30 years and it tastes amazing every visit. I wish they had one in San Francisco. I hope they will give me the recipe someday. The bread tools are always warm and taste fresh, mixed italian salad is terrific and the pesto is a must try.

I have been to this restaurant plenty of times, but it’s been a few years. I was craving really good Italian food, so I decided this was the place to go! We had reservations at 6pm for 6 and were immediately when we arrived Place wasn’t all that crowded for a Saturday night, which surprised me. Service at this place is AWESOME! So friendly and attentative. We all ordered our meals, I ordered the fettuccini Alfred with chicken and mushrooms, husband had the chicken parmesan, parents had the Abrutzzi(½ spaghetti, ½ ravioli) and friends of ours had the chicken parmesan. Our waitress brought out our salads and the BESTHOTROLLS I HAVEEVERHAD!!! The salads were cold and fresh, best blue cheese dressing I have had in a long time! We only had to wait about 15 minutes for our food and it was brought to our table piping hot! Chicken parmesan looked awesome, had a few bites from my husbands plate… amazing. Thin chicken breast coated with just enough breading and cheese, cooked perfectly. My fettuccini was good, not great. I really need a good cheesy Alfred sauce and many places it’s so bland. I have yet to find an Alfred sauce I love. I was hoping I would find the perfect Alfred sauce at Pizzuto’s but sadly, it wasn’t. It was slightly bland, but the chicken and the mushrooms made up for it! Prices at this place were great. Fettuccini was only $ 17 and you get a huge portion. All of us took leftovers home!!! I love Pizzuto’s and will continue to dine there!!!

This was actually a very good place. The food was excellent especially their hot fresh rolls. The spaghetti was good but i really like their chicken parmesan, the meat was crispy and cheesy and yummy. Service was decent. Portion was pretty generous. I would have given it a 4 star but i found a piece of hair in my salad… However, i would come back cause their food was good and price was decent

I wonder if the people raving about the food here ever cook at home? My friend and I had the pizzas and a salad. One bite in and we just looked at each other and laughed mostly out of pity. How can an Italian restaurant not use seasoning? These pizzas might as well been made from paper with some plain tomato sauce. probably canned, on top.

Pizzutos is one of my favorite Italian restaurants to eat at. The family owned local vibe is so strong once you walk in the door. Everything on the menu is amazing from the homemade gnocchi to the tiramisu. Get here early if you want their lasagna or manicotti being it sells out fast! Not to mention the great service !

Great food! I live in the neighborhood and eat there frequently. Tonight I had the ravioli with pesto sauce, it was awesome! They also have wonderful caesar salad and great tiramisu! The staff are friendly and the service is great, I recommend Pizzuto’s!

My wife and I live right around the corner from this place and have only been a handful of times. Before tonight, our experiences had been mediocre. Tonight, though, the takeout we got from there was very good — balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and good value. We’ll be coming back more often for sure.

Food is amazing. Sauce. Meatballs. Ravioli. I am pasta crazy. Can’t believe this is a block from my house and I haven’t been. House wine isn’t earth-shattering. The staff is young and they run everywhere. Otherwise five star food. The red sauce is tart… just perfect. Bread is killer. Can’t wait to try the pizza that I am taking home. Unfortunately I am going to need to buy new clothes now. Betting none of my pants will fit next week.

Service was great, food great, atmosphere great… reminded me of the old Italian family restaurants I grew up with. I got the egg plant parmesan. Waitress stated it would be a while but didn’t notice as they brought out bread, salad and drinks. When it came It was a huge portion and came with a side of spaghetti. When I took a bite the combination of Marinara sauce, basil, cheese and egg plant was perfect. It was so good but I couldn’t finish it. My spouse got the pizza with pepperoni, artichokes, mushroom. I had a slice too and it reminded me of homemade. Delicious. We finished it off with the Tartufo. If you like hazelnuts you’ll love this. We ended up taking half of the egg plant parmesan and half the pizza home So the price for a pizza, parmesan, beer, salads, bread, soda and dessert was $ 43. Not bad. Will definitely will be back.

As far as neighborhood Italian joints go this place is a gem. I’ve had better Italian food but I’ve paid a lot more for it. Besides Italian food shouldn’t be expensive… it’s pasta and sauces. But Italian food should be cooked with care and Pizzuto’s does that very well. I suggest: –Try the meatballs. Seriously, they are excellent. –Order wine, bottles that cost $ 30 here cost $ 60 downtown –Try the specials when available, they often highlight fresh and seasonal ingredients. –The carbonara won’t do anything to lower your cholesterol but it is fabulous. –Bring kids, their meals are cheaper than McDonalds’.

Pizzutos is our go to family restaurant. Our group walks in and they know what we want to drink down to the amount if ice we like in our sodas! They also always makes sure to tell us when they have their amazing clam linguini dish(which everyone fights over). Then we move on to dessert and recently they had this chocolate hazelnut gelato dessert called«Tartufo» which is about $ 6. This is the best $ 6 you will ever spend on a gelato dessert. I will continue to go back to Pizzutos time and again not because the food is amazing but because the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
