Quick Dry Cleaning and Laundry

We received very quick turn around on our dry cleaning and a minor repair at Quick Dry a Cleaning and Laundry. The gentleman I interacted with had a very heavy accent and it was difficult to understand him, but we were still able to complete the transaction. Their prices are significantly less expensive than the prices at Bakkers Fine Dry Cleaning. We got our clothes back in time for a special event and am overall pleased with our transaction.

I tried this place because of the great reviews but after my second experience here I will NEVER go back. I knew something was wrong when the worker who was finishing up my sweater asked for the owner (Mrs. Kim) to check on something in the back. I could see when I leaned over to see that it had something to do with my sweater. After being asked to wait a bit the owner came out with sweater said nothing and handed me the sweater. I took a look and there were 2 pinkish spots on it (white sweater). When I asked about it because I knew where it was dirty before and it was not pink/​red nor in that location I was told I got it dirty and oh we’ll they couldn’t get it out. After going back and forth I was told they would pay the bill if another dry cleaner could get it out or I could get a credit. This would have seemed reasonable if they didn’t just try and hide the fact they didn’t clean the sweater properly, though I know it was not caused by me. When I refused these options and said I wanted my money back for the cost of them «cleaning» the garment. After refusing several times I said I would have the transaction cancelled by my bank. The owner then opened the cash register and threw a $ 5 bill at me. I said no way I paid more than that and I would have the transaction voided and she wouldn’t get paid for the other items she cleaned. She then threw the rest of the money on the counter and told me not to come back. I told her «Yea sure liked I’d be going back to such a place where they lie to their customers».
I have never written a review before but this was just ridiculous! If you go here, go at your own risk! My wool coat they cleaned a few days before was good but it if they would have been honest with me upfront about the spots It would not have gone this bad. Acknowledge the problem! Let the customer know! Don’t try and pretend nothing is wrong when you know there is!

I’ve done both dry cleaning and alterations at this locaiton and have been really pleased with the pricing, the service and the product. I had them to hem up a couple pair of designer jeans and some yoga pants with excellent results.

I had them hem my pants and I had a dress that was too big so they made it smaller. They only charged $ 15 to adjust the dress. When I got it back the first time, it was still a little bit big. I brought it back and they were able to fix it again for free. It fit perfectly!
The couple is very nice and friendly.
So glad they are opened until 7 and opened on the weekend!

They are great! The clothes are always perfectly cleaned and the man and woman that own it are very friendly!

Decent dry cleaning place. I have never had any issues with the quality of the cleaning services. They are knowledgeable with various types of clothes, jackets, and uniforms. The only odd thing about the place is the prices. While the prices aren’t high, they don’t seem to work well with combination discounts. For example, don’t ask for them to sew a patch and then dry clean another. Instead, drop off the sewing item one day the other item the next. The more items I take, the more it costs per item. Doesn’t make sense, but everything works out as long as you live close and can space out your work.
Oh yeah, and you can go back and forth to the place across the street and have the two negotiate against each other. This place normally wins, but the negotiating has lowered the price for me every time I tried (helpful with large jobs).

This place uses environmentally sound dry-​cleaning practices, but does not charge you extra for this. This is one of the facts that makes them better than the other cleaners directly across the street. They are also cheaper and cooler in general. Ok… «less expensive»
All this being said, I am a pretty picky dry cleaning customer– as I dislike the idea of having to pay to specially clean my clothing that I wear to work where I am mostly tucked back into my office… my clothes don’t get dirty… Makes no sense.
