Really nice experience.

I cannot speak more highly of Matt and the work he does. I had just returned from an international trip to my daughter’s birth country and had all her birth family videos, as well as hundreds and hundreds of photos on my phone. Because we were so jet lagged I hadn’t yet gotten around to putting the videos and photos onto my computer yet. And then the nightmare happened — I managed to drop my phone into water. I immediately put it in rice, but didn’t know about turning it off… anyway, my phone died. I wanted to throw up. My friend took on this project of trying to help me get it fixed since I had to work. She took it to one place first, but they weren’t able to fix it, so they recommended she take the phone to Seattle Device Repair, since they do more board repair. All I know is that Matt seemingly performed a miracle, and managed to get my phone back up and running — apparently he repaired it with microscope since the parts he replaced were so small. He kept my friend in the loop all day, and kept the hope alive. Anyway, I am so so grateful that he was invested in trying to fix my phone, especially since he knew how important it was to me. He provided tremendous service for a very good price too. I will be recommending him and this place to anyone who needs it now, as I am forever grateful.

Went to visit Matt a few times for one issue on my Galaxy S6. I broke my LCD while replacing my daughterboard so I had to get a new LCD assembly. Installed it myself and it didn’t sit quite right. Took it over to Seattle Device repair and had Matt take a look at it. He pulled the screen up and put phone back together but it still had the issue. On another visit to him we pulled the phone apart together and noticed some old adhesive was still present on the frame which made the LCD panel not sit as flush at it should.
Great service and will definitely have him help me in the future so I do not break the phone again myself! :)

As good as it gets!
1 hour. I literally had my iPhone 6 cover off for 1 hour (due to the cover cracking) before getting my new cover. What happens? Obviously… I drop my phone and shatter the glass screen. I happen to work and live near Seattle Device Repair so I called them the day of. They were able to get me in, fix the phone in 1 hour same day and the fix has been perfect for the past 7 weeks.
To be candid, I purposefully waited to give a review to see if the «fix would stick». Especially since they have a guarantee. Thankfully, the fix was one and done. And I have been telling folks about this local, owner/​operator business ever since. The bonus is that the owner can do much more than smartphone repair. Repaired my Galaxy S6 Edge in about 40 minutes. Noone else in Seattle would touch this phone. Manager was friendly, talkative, and repaired the phone right in front of my eyes on the same day. 24 hours later and the new screen is still functioning beautifully.

Wow. I broke my phone twice in a week. First repair was at another store, and it was fine, but I wasn’t impressed. Second repair was for a cracked screen. Seattle Device Repair was helpful, thoughtful, and fixed an issue that the first place missed for no extra charge. And did I mention that it was less expensive and done in an hour?
I pray that I don’t ever have to use their services again, but if I do, I will be back.

I essentially break iPhones for a living so I’ve seen my fair share of «device fixing guy» places, in the back of smoke shops, living rooms and out of dudes vans. They do shit work for triple the cost and of course the creepy «I’m not going to look at your photos but totally will in hopes of finding nudes» vibe… Thank fucking Christ This is not that kind of place. Matt is super knowledgeable, fast, cheap and a really sweet dude. If you break your stuff as frequently as I do you come to appreciate places like this one. fix your devices fast and at the lowest cost. Don’t be stupid, check this place out.

I would always see this store front while driving home. I didn’t immediately think to take my iPhone 6 here when I cracked the screen. I researched the different downtown device repair places and decided to go to Matt’s business, because according to the website they build the replacement screen themselves. The other places have bought replacement housings built by someone else. The new screen works perfectly. Matt was fast. He repaired it right in front of me and it took less than 15 minutes. He has my future business. His guarantee is great also! Look it up!

I had been having trouble with the microphone on my headphones for a few months. I had researched it online and it said it was likely dirty, but I had been unable to clean it myself. I was walking past this place and had some extra time and decided to stop in to see if they could look at it. He attempted to clean it with no result, so he opened it up and was able to determine the port was bad. He actually recommended I take it back to the place that put it in and use the warranty and wasn’t going to charge me (honestly anyone?), but I just had him repair it since he seemed to have better parts and knowledge. He also did it right there in front of me in about 5 minutes. He was cheap and was incredibly nice and patient when fixing the problem. I will be going back when I need anything done.

Matt is not only a top shelf and fastidious worker, but he’s a top shelf cute rate individual. My Iphone 6 screen was broken and he accommodated me ASAP. (And no I don’t know him) I would (and have) recommend his business to anyone who asked. I have to take my hat off to someone who starts a successful and busy business at such a young age. Great guy, talented individual, hard worker and great worker!

Matt fixed the power button on my wife’s LG Nexus 5 in about 15 minutes. Super nice guy, easy to work with, and at a much more reasonable cost than a few other places I called. I’d highly recommend him for any kind of repair.

Local and personable service. They clearly know what they’re doing inside and out and the pricing is very fair and competitive. Repair is incredibly fast. While I don’t exactly want my devices to break, I would be happy to patronize this place again if needed. Would also recommend specifically to friends.

This is where I’ll be going to get my screen fixed, they are extremely efficient and professional. They fixed it faster than most places would and would have charged me a lot. I love the prices and the guarantee it comes with. And it’s nice to support a small local business instead of a chain. Def guarantee.

I highly recommend this place! I happened to find it on Unilocal and purchased the Unilocal deal after seeing their reasonable pricing and convenient location. I called in on a Thursday for a walk-​in, unaware that Thursdays are usually their closed day, but the owner (Matt) kindly agreed to fix my shattered iPhone screen anyway! The process was fast and uncomplicated. They offer warranty on the new screen too which is great!

I shattered my iPhone screen, and did a bit of research to find the cheapest repair. I stumbled upon Seattle Device Repair, and the experience was great. Matt was quick and used quality parts to replace the screen. He was very nice, and the storefront is clean and easy to find in Belltown. I paid $ 79 plus tax, which was, by far, the cheapest among the repair stores in the area that I could find. I would highly recommend Seattle Device Repair!

After using Unilocal for YEARS I finally signed up to post a review so that I could give Matt 5 stars. After my Samsung Edge phone shattered I contacted Seattle Device Repair and Matt got a hold of the replacement glass quickly and called me as soon as it had arrived. I couldn’t get downtown easily and he offered a courier service, which turned out to be him. He did the repair super fast and perfectly and trusted that I would pay him after he delivered it back to me. It was superior service on all levels. I highly recommend this place!
