This is my «home» starbucks, since I work in the building next door. The staff here are super friendly, quick, and super efficient.

Yeah, if you have been to Seattle you have been to a Starbucks, but this particular one has always had fast and friendly service for me, no irony in my 3 stars.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a chain store, let alone Starbucks. However, this location needs to be commended — especially a youngish guy(maybe 30?) who works in the morning, dark brown hair(I think glasses, too? Not certain). He is incredibly sweet and efficient. I walk the extra two blocks to come to this location(the other store on Madison is positively frightening — both patrons and employees).

I really enjoy coming to this Starbucks. It is clean, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is hot. Well done.

Very friendly service everytime. The lines aren’t as long or take as long as the other Starbucks a couple blocks away, right across from the McDonalds. Not a bad store to visit either, just busy.

After the nightmare at the other Starbucks on Madison it was a much better experience. I just got a bottle of water because I already had my other coffee from the other Starbucks. They were nice about me just buying the water and I studied here for a few hours. However, it *is* a Starbucks next to a huge employer(Swedish Medical) so it’s really busy almost all day long. I expected it but still… if you want a quiet comfy shop this isn’t it. But then again why would you go to a Starbucks if that’s the kind of experience you want? I went out of desperation, basically. I’d go back if I were just stopping by for my daily caffeine needs.

They’re quick w/their coffee compared to other startbucks around the block. That’s all i care about :) Just make sure you skip lunch hours the line gets pretty long.. ..

My coworker Nick and I have been coming here for, oh, probably two years. We love this place. Jo and her gang are having fun AND whipping up great drinks all at the same time. We love the rotating cast of lovely girls and funny boys who work there. And the sassy Patrick, a fixture since I started going, can make my coffee any day. It’s closed on weekends so I’m not sure the«too busy on Sunday» reviewer is reviewing the right Starbucks.

The staff here seem a little friendlier than those at the Starbucks a block and a half down the street(1101 Madison). Don’t get me wrong, staff at both are great, but the other one is always super crowded so the staff is rushed. I rarely ever drink coffee, so I can’t comment on that, but the tea lattes are fantastic! :)

Compared to the larger Starbucks a block and a half south, this place is warmer, friendlier, and better organized: the line moves faster, there is less yelling, more smiling. There is better coffee at several places within a half block, but sometimes: the boss who likes Starbucks is buying, the line at the piroshki place is daunting, or you just need a crazy amount of caffeine – flavor be damned. Not saying whose it is, but there is wireless for the mooching here.

This starbucks is always packed on Sunday. WHY? You have SOMANY unique coffee shops to choose from in Seattle and you choose starbucks. Yeah it originated from Seattle, but it is also taking over the world. Why don’t you move to the suburbs and then I can understand because it will be the only coffee shop around.
