Never has a Starbucks been so welcome.
I’ve sung the praises of the Starbucks on the other side of Seattle Children’s Hospital before, but this one is even better, if smaller. Children’s has done a lot to make the best of a bad situation, and has three Starbucks to choose from in the hospital, and this one is open 24/​7, 365. There is a window that goes direct to the ER waiting room, and the rest of the building can access the walk-​up counter on the other side. They have hot food, pastries, salads, yogurts, and all your favorite Starbucks drinks. They even have beans to take home!
The staff at this Starbucks are the friendliest I’ve ever come across. If you need a break while dealing with the stress of being at a hospital, I highly recommend you take advantage of the Starbucks. Even if you’re not normally a fan of their coffee, trust me, it will make you feel better.
